Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

We live in an age where individuals are increasingly dependent on portable communications and entertainment devices. In addition to items we carry around in our day-to-day activities, such as wallets, keys, and other personal effects, smart phones now regularly feature among these items. This invention relates generally to providing individuals a convenient hands-free means by which to carry and have easy access to personal effects, including the ubiquitous smart phone.

This hands-free carrier provides easy access to a communications or entertainment device, which can be inserted into the upper compartment. The other compartment, located along the side of the bag, can hold items such as currency, identification, and personal effects.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

Material fashioned into two loops—numbered 100 and 101—are attached to the carrier and anchor the bag to the fingers, as number 102 shows in FIG. 1A. Two straps—numbered 104 and 105—are attached to the width of the carrier and secure it to the forearm and wrist area of the wearer as shown in FIG. 1A.

This hands-free carrier provides easy access to a communications or entertainment device, such as a smart phone, which can be inserted into 106, the upper compartment of this two-compartment carrier as shown in FIG. 1A. This upper compartment is secured by a strap, numbered 107, that fastens to the outer area of the pouch as seen in FIG. 1A.

FIG. 1B, FIG. 1C, and FIG. 1E also show you views of the upper compartment. FIG. 1C is a top view of the personal carrier, including a view of the upper compartment, 106. FIG. 1E is a view of the area in the upper compartment, 106, through which a device can be inserted.

The other compartment of the carrier, 103, is located along the side of the bag and closed with a zipper. It can hold items such as currency, identification, and personal effects. FIG. 1B shows a view of the side compartment, 103, as it would appear when opened.

FIG. 1D is a bottom view of the personal carrier, and it shows how 104 and 105 are fastened.
