BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

(1) Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to the field of a urinal screen and their front portion covering. The invention, particularly relates to a urinal screen for protecting men from backsplash while urinating in urinal toilets.

(2) Background of the Invention

Urinal screens are widely used and known in the public domain. Few of them has air fresheners quality and to prevent debris from being flushed down a urinal drain. Urinal screens are sometimes used beneath urinals to catch fluids from the urinals, thereby making the floor clean, hygienic and provide a more sanitary environment. In some cases, a fragrance is provided with the screens to help sanitize and freshen the air in and around the urinal. Both the screens and the mats are exposed to large amounts of human waste, flush water, and cleaning chemicals.

In conventional urinal screens variety of devices are designed for placement in a urinal to achieve a variety of ends. These goals include collecting solid debris and providing a fragrance or odor-absorbing chemical with the backsplash protection. Most common are drain mats intended to collect solid debris. Often these are simple pieces of flexible material containing small drain holes and configured over the urinal drain to catch any solid debris larger than the holes.

There have been a number of solutions provided for effective fluid flow through the urinal screen or mat and few of them have been discussed below:

US 20140075663 A1 discloses a urinal screen which includes a body having a plurality of openings formed therein, and a frame disposed around at least a portion of the body, the frame having a substantially concave shape. The urinal screen is adapted to be positioned in a substantially upright position in the urinal with a first end of the urinal screen adjacent a bottom of the urinal and a second end of the urinal screen adjacent a rear surface of the urinal.

US 20150040303 A1 relates to a toilet provided with a urine splash prevention apparatus, for preventing urine or water from splashing out of a toilet when a user urinates in front of the toilet while standing. The toilet, which has a toilet main body for having a predetermined level of water filled therein and temporarily storing excreta and a seat hinge-coupled to an upper side of the toilet main body and capable of rotating, comprises: a guide frame both ends of which are elastically supported upward and hinge-coupled to an upper part of the toilet main body, and which is positioned in a rotatable radius of the seat, interlocked with the rotating operation of the seat, and vertically rotatable; and a shield fixed to the guide frame, for covering the area between the guide frame and the toilet main body. Accordingly, the present invention can prevent urine from splashing out of the toilet when a user urinates and thus can maintain the surrounding environment clean.

U.S. Pat. No. 6,698,035 B1 describes a protective screen which fits over the opening of a urinal to prevent splashback that commonly occurs when a stream of urine contacts the inside wall of the urinal. The screen functions to allow a stream of urine to pass therethrough but prevents the occurrence of splashback when the urine stream contacts the walls of the urinal or the water at the bottom of the urinal. The screen also provides a filter to prevent foreign articles (paper, gum, cigarette butts, etc.) from being flushed down the urinal. The screen is positioned in the urinal such that flush water flows over the entire surface of the screen, thereby cleansing the surface and enhancing sanitary conditions.

The aforesaid documents and other similar solutions may strive to provide an effective fluid flow through the urinal screen; however, they still have a number of limitations and shortcomings such as, but not limited to, incapable to cover the whole front portion of the urinal. Further, the use of chemical fluid repellants like, but not limited to, polydimethylsiloxane for enhancing the cleanliness of the sanity is not included in the prior-arts. The above mentioned prior arts can only perform certain aspects say for example, provides a urinal screen for attenuating splashing caused by a stream of urine with a mean radius impinging on a urinal. In general, these methods involve intercepting the stream of urine with a urine impingement region of an object disposed within the urinal.

Accordingly, there remains a need in the prior art to have an improved urinal screen for sanitation of the men's urinal, and for effective fluid flow through a comparatively large portion of the urinals, which also keeps the urinal area clean and protect users from backsplash while urinating, therefore overcome the aforesaid problem and shortcomings.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

In the view of the foregoing disadvantages inherent in the known types of urinal screen or mat now present in the prior art, the present invention provides an improved urinal screen. As such, the general purpose of the present invention, which will be described subsequently in greater detail, is to provide a new and improved urinal screen for protecting men from backsplash while urinating in urinal toilets and integrated with a chemical fluid repellant, which has all the advantages of the prior art and none of the disadvantages.

An object of the invention is to provide a urinal screen which comprises a partially top half covered surface of the urinal screen placed by a means for detaching, a plurality of slits is placed on a bottom half of the urinal screen and a plurality of detachable adhesive tabs to adhere the urinal screen on a plurality of sides from a top to bottom end of a front portion of a urinal.

It is another object of the present invention to provide the urinal screen, placed over the front portion of the urinal that is cut into strips at the bottom to allow fluid to flow through, but not to return through the protective screen.

It is another object of the present invention to provide the product, attached to the sides of the urinal holding it in place, while not making it difficult to change out during regular restroom maintenance.

It is another object of the present invention to provide the urinal screen having a scent integrated into the material of the screen as well as a chemical fluid repellant applied to the inside of the screen so that the backsplash can be repelled and not stick to the material.

It is another object of the present invention to provide a detachable urinal screen or mat having a same size and shape as per the urinal front portion for to be placed.

It is another object of the present invention to provide the urinal screen consists of one piece of material with adhesives or a means for fastening that enables the product to be placed on the front of a urinal.
