PUTTING EXERCISER AND METHOD FOR ENHANCING PHYSICAL STRENGTH BY THE SAME

A putting exerciser comprises a movable ball case provided therein with a plurality of metal balls having a weight, and a rail structure on which the metal balls are movably mounted. The movable ball case includes a plurality of cases spaced apart from each other at a predetermined interval for partially covering upper surfaces of the metal balls. The rail structure comprises a rail part having a groove for mounting the metal ball therein, and a footrest disposed at one side of the rail part.

Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to physical strength enhancement for putting, and more particularly, to a putting exerciser including a movable ball case provided therein with a plurality of metal balls having a weight, and a rail structure on which the metal balls are movably mounted, wherein the movable ball case includes a plurality of cases spaced apart from each other at a predetermined interval for partially covering upper surfaces of the metal balls, so as to enhance physical strength for putting by hitting the movable ball case with a putting club of a user, and a method for enhancing the physical strength by the same.

2. Description of the Related Art

Golf is a game for putting a golf ball into a hole cup on a putting green through drive shots, iron shots, bunker shots, putts, etc. while going through a golf course having various types of holes.

The putting is the final stage for finishing the golf game, so the acquisition of an accurate putting skill is very important for improving golf skills.

Generally, in order to practice the putting, a practice device guides a swing trajectory of the putting club or provides various terrain shapes to allow the user to adjust the force acting upon the putting.

However, this conventional technology is merely a practice method of rolling the golf ball, so the technology is not enough for enhancing the physical strength required for the putting.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

To solve the problems described above, an object of the present invention is to provide a putting exerciser and a method for enhancing physical strength by the same, capable of enhancing the physical strength required for the putting by using the metal ball having a weight, and improving putting skills by allowing trained muscles to memorize the putting skills.

However, objects of the present invention are not limited to the above-mentioned object, and other objects which are not mentioned can be clearly understood by those skilled in the art from the following description.

To achieve the object described above, according to one aspect of the present invention, there is provided a putting exerciser including: a movable ball case (100) provided therein with a plurality of metal balls (B) having a weight; and a rail structure (200) on which the metal balls (B) are movably mounted, wherein the movable ball case (100) includes a plurality of cases (C) spaced apart from each other at a predetermined interval for partially covering upper surfaces of the metal balls (B).

In addition, the case (C) may include: an upper case (120) for covering an upper portion of the metal ball (B); a lower case (110) coupled to a bottom surface of the upper case (120) and provided therein with the metal ball (B); and a connection part (130) disposed between lower cases (110).

In addition, the upper case (120) may include an upper case body (121) having a hollow structure, in which a lower surface of the upper case body (121) is open to cover the upper surface of the metal ball (B), and a recess (122) recessed in an inner side surface of the upper case body (121), and the lower case (110) may include a lower case body (111) inserted into a lower inner side surface of the upper case body (121) and having a hollow structure, in which upper and lower surfaces of the lower case body (111) are open to accommodate therein the metal ball (B) such that a lower portion of the metal ball (B) is partially exposed, and a protruding sill (112) protruding from an outer side surface of the lower case body (111) and inserted into the recess (122).

In addition, the putting exerciser may further include a cam member (123) protruding in a horizontal direction from the upper case body (121).

In addition, the connection part (130) may include: a plate-shape connection plate (131) for connecting a pair of lower cases (110); and a plurality of protruding ribs (132) protruding from the connection plate (131) and arranged in an extension direction of the connection plate (131).

In addition, the rail structure (200) may include: a rail part (220) having a groove (U) for mounting the metal ball (B) therein; and a footrest (210) disposed at one side of the rail part (220).

In addition, the rail part (220) may include a rail body (221) having a U-shape groove (U) making contact with a part of the metal ball (B), a footrest fastening part (223) recessed on one side surface of the rail body (221) such that the footrest (210) is inserted into the footrest fastening part (223), and a cover member (222) installed on both side ends of the rail body (221), and the footrest (210) may include a footrest body (211) which a user steps on, a foot mark part (212) displayed on the footrest body (211), and a putting distance display part (213) displayed on one side of the rail body (221) for indicating a distance.

In addition, according to another aspect of the present invention, there is provided a method for enhancing physical strength by using the putting exerciser, the method including: disposing a putting club (P) on an upper surface of the connection part (130) between the cases (C) in a state that a user is positioned on the foot mark part (212) of the footrest body (211); and moving the movable ball case (100) by hitting the lower case (110) or the upper case (120) with the putting club (P), so that the metal ball (B) is rotated inside the upper case (120) and the lower case (110) while one lower side of the metal ball (B) is moved on the groove (U) of the rail body (221).

In addition, the method may further include adjusting a space between upper cases (120) according to a thickness of the putting club (P) by changing a position of the cam member (123) through rotating the upper case body (121) of the upper case (120).

In addition, the method may further include forming the groove (U) of the rail body (221) to have a specific depth such that the case (C) is inclined at a specific angle, before moving the movable ball case (100) by hitting the lower case (110) or the upper case (120) with the putting club (P).

In addition, the method may further include measuring a movement distance of the movable ball case (100) by the putting distance display part (213).

The features and advantages of the present invention will become more apparent from the following detailed description with reference to the accompanying drawings.

Prior to describing the present invention, it should be noted that terms and words used in the present specification and claims should not be construed in a conventional and dictionary sense, but they should be construed as meanings and concepts consistent with technical ideas of the present invention based upon a principle that the inventor may appropriately define the concept of the term to describe his own invention in the best way.

According to the present invention as described above, the physical strength required for the putting can be enhanced by the metal ball having a weight, and putting skills can be improved by allowing trained muscles to memorize the putting skills.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings. In the following description, the thicknesses of lines and the sizes of components shown in the drawings may be exaggerated for clarity and convenience of explanation.

In addition, the terms described below are defined in consideration of functions of the present invention, so the terms may vary depending on the intention or custom of a user and an operator. Therefore, definitions of these terms should be made based on the content throughout the present specification.

In addition, the following embodiments do not limit the scope of the present invention, but are merely illustrative of the components recited in the claims of the present invention, and embodiments included in technical ideas throughout the specification of the present invention and including components replaceable with an equivalent among the components recited in the claims are within the scope of the present invention.

FIG. 1 is an exploded perspective view showing a putting exerciser where an upper case and a ball are separated from each other according to one embodiment of the present invention. Embodiment

As shown in FIGS. 1 to 5, the putting exerciser 10 according to one embodiment of the present invention includes a movable ball case 100 provided therein with a plurality of metal balls B having a weight, and a rail structure 200 on which the metal balls B are movably mounted.

The movable ball case 100 includes a plurality of cases C spaced apart from each other at a predetermined interval for partially covering upper surfaces of the metal balls B.

Therefore, when a putting club P of a user hits the case C, the metal ball B inside the case C rotates to allow the movable ball case 100 to move on the rail structure 200.

Since the metal ball B has a heavy weight, physical strength required for putting can be enhanced when the user continues to hit the movable ball case 100 of the present invention by the putting club.

The case C may have various shapes for mounting the metal ball B therein as described above, but as shown in the drawings, the case C may include an upper case 120 for covering an upper portion of the metal ball B, and a lower case 110 coupled to a bottom surface of the upper case 120 and provided therein with the metal ball B.

In addition, a connection part 130 is disposed between lower cases 110 to connect the lower cases 110.

In other words, the upper case 120 of the present invention is disposed on the upper surface of the metal ball B, the lower case 110 is installed on a lower surface of the upper case 120, and as a result, the metal ball B is disposed inside the case C.

When the putting club P of the user hits the case C in a state that the upper surface of the metal ball B partially makes contact with an inner upper side surface of the upper case 120, the metal ball B is rotated inside the case C, and accordingly, the case C is moved in the hitting direction.

As shown in the drawings, the upper case 120 may include an upper case body 121 for covering the upper surface of the metal ball B, and a recess 122 recessed in an inner side surface of the upper case body 121.

In addition, the lower case 110 may include a lower case body 111 inserted into a lower inner side surface of the upper case body 121 and having a hollow structure, in which upper and lower surfaces of the lower case body 111 are open.

When the metal ball B is inserted inside the lower case body 111, a lower portion of the metal ball B is partially exposed as shown in the drawings. The exposed portion of the metal ball B makes contact with the rail structure 200 to be described below while the metal ball B is rotated, and accordingly, the movable ball case 100 of the present invention is moved.

Meanwhile, a protruding sill 112 protrudes from an outer side surface of the lower case body 111 and is inserted into the recess 122.

In other words, the lower case body 111 is inserted into the inner side surface of the upper case body 121 while the protruding sill 112 is inserted into the recess 122, and as a result, the lower case body 111 is engaged to the inside of the upper case body 121.

The protruding sill 112 is inserted into the recess 122 as described above for the purpose of fixing the lower case body 111 to the inner surface of the upper case body 121. Thus, it is within the scope of the present invention even when the protruding sill 112 and the recess 122 have different shapes if the above purpose can be achieved.

The upper case 120 of the case C may have a semi-spherical upper case body 121 as shown in FIGS. 1 to 4, or a cam member 123 protruding in a horizontal direction from the upper case body 121 as shown in FIGS. 5 and 6.

When the upper case body 121 of the present invention as described above is rotated, a position of the cam member 123 is changed, so that the distance between the upper cases 120 can be adjusted corresponding to the thickness of the putting club even if the thickness is changed.

In other words, when cam members 123 are arranged to face each other as shown in FIG. 5, the distance between the cam members 123 is narrowed, so that a putting club having a relatively thin thickness can be used.

If a thicker putting club is desired to be used, the position of the cam member 123 can be changed by rotating the upper case body 121. For example, when the cam member 123 of the upper case body 121 on a left side of the drawing is disposed to face the left side as shown in FIG. 6, the distance between the upper case bodies 121 is widened, so that the thicker putting club can be used.

In addition, although two cases C may be provided as shown in the drawings, this is an example for explaining the present invention, so the present invention is not limited thereto, thus a plurality of cases C, for example, at least three cases C may be provided.

The connection part 130 is disposed between the lower cases 110 as described above, and to this end, as shown in the drawings, the connection part 130 may include a plate-shape connection plate 131, and a plurality of protruding ribs 132 protruding from the connection plate 131 and arranged in an extension direction of the connection plate 131.

In other words, the connection plate 131 connects the cases C and the protruding ribs 132 may improve the strength of the connection plate 131.

Accordingly, even if the putting club P of the user hits the case C, the connection plate 130 can be prevented from being damaged.

The case 100 of the present invention as described above can be hit by the putting club, and the rail structure 200 on which the metal balls B disposed inside the case 100 are movably mounted will be described with reference to FIGS. 7 to 9.

The rail structure 200 may include a rail part 220 having a groove U for mounting the metal ball B therein, and a footrest 210 disposed at one side of the rail part 220.

In other words, when the user hits the case C by the putting club P in a state of being positioned on the footrest 210, the metal ball B is rotated in a state of being disposed on the groove U, and accordingly, the case C is moved.

Therefore, physical strength required for putting can be enhanced when the user continuously hits the metal ball B having the weight by the present invention as described above.

Meanwhile, the rail part 220 may include a rail body 221 having a U-shape groove U making contact with a part of the metal ball B as described above.

In addition, the groove U may make contact with a specific point of the metal ball B as shown in the drawings for allowing the metal ball B to move.

In other words, it is within the scope of the present invention if the grooves U have a shape allowing the metal ball B to be mounted on the grooves U such that the metal ball B can move along a predetermined path without deviating to the outside.

In addition, the rail part 220 may include a rail body 221 having a U-shape groove U making contact with a part of the metal ball B, a footrest fastening part 223 recessed on one side surface of the rail body 221 such that the footrest 210 is inserted into the footrest fastening part 223, and a cover member 222 installed on both side ends of the rail body 221.

In other words, since the footrest 210 is to be installed on the rail part 220, the fastening part 223 is recessed on one side surface of the rail body 221, that is, a side surface of the rail body 221 in the thickness direction, and the footrest 210 is inserted and installed into the footrest fastening part 223.

The cover member 222 is installed on both longitudinal side ends of the rail body 221, and may have various shapes, such as a flat shape having no recess portion on the surface thereof as shown in the drawings.

The footrest 210 is provided to allow the user to step on as described above, and may include a footrest body 211.

The footrest body 211 may generally have a plate shape, but the present invention is not limited thereto, and it is within the scope of the present invention even when footrest bodies 211 have different shapes if the footrest bodies 211 have a shape that can be stepped on by the user.

In addition, a foot mark part 212 may be provided on the footrest body 211 for marking a position for feet of the user.

In addition, a putting distance display part 213 may be displayed on one side of the rail body 221 for indicating a distance.

In other words, the foot mark part 212 may indicate a user position appropriate for the putting, and the user may measure a movement distance by the putting distance display part 213 which can indicate the movement distance of the case C.

Meanwhile, the putting distance display part 213 may have various configurations including a scale as shown in the drawings if the putting distance display part 213 can indicate the movement distance.

Of course, the movement distance can be indicated by a sensor which detects a current position of the case C and a stopped position of the case C after movement.

To this end, the sensor may include an infrared sensor for recognizing an object and a control unit for receiving a signal from the sensor to analyze and display the signal.

Hereinafter, a method for enhancing physical strength by using the putting exerciser 10 of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. 1 to 5 again.

First, a putting club P is disposed between the cases C in a state that a user is positioned on the foot mark part 212 of the footrest body 211.

In addition, the putting club P is disposed on an upper portion of the connection part 130.

In this state, the movable ball case 100 is moved by hitting the lower case 110 or the upper case 120 with the putting club P.

The metal ball B is rotated inside the upper case 120 and the lower case 110, while one lower portion of the metal ball B is exposed to move on the groove U of the rail body 221 as described above.

Since the user hits and moves the case C provided therein with the metal ball B having the weight by the present invention as described above, the physical strength of the user that is required for the putting can be enhanced.

As described above, the space between upper cases 120 can be adjusted according to the thickness of the putting club P by changing the position of the cam member 123 through rotating the upper case body 121 of the upper case 120.

In addition, the case C can be hit by the putting club P after forming the groove U of the rail body 221 to have a specific depth L such that the case C is inclined at a specific angle θ.

To this end, the depth L of the groove U of the rail part 220 is set to ¼ of the metal ball B so as to slantingly arrange the metal ball B, so that the case C is entirely inclined.

In this state, if the case is hit by the putting club, various putting slopes can be implemented.

Meanwhile, when the case C is moved by the putting club P of the user, the movement distance of the movable ball case 100 can be measured by the putting distance display part 213.

In other words, the putting distance display part 213 is displayed on the footrest body 211 and disposed on one side of the rail body 221.

Therefore, the movement distance of the case C can be easily measured by the putting distance display part 213.

The present invention is described in detail through specific embodiments, which is provided for explaining the present invention specifically, but the present invention is not limited thereto, and it is apparent that variations and modifications can be made by those skilled in the art within the technical ideas of the invention.

Simple variations and changes of the present invention may fall within the scope of the present invention, and the specific scope of the present invention will be clarified by the appended claims.

Claims

1. A putting exerciser comprising:

a movable ball case provided therein with a plurality of metal balls (B) having a weight; and
a rail structure on which the metal balls (B) are movably mounted,
wherein the movable ball case includes a plurality of cases (C) spaced apart from each other at a predetermined interval for partially covering upper surfaces of the metal balls (B).

2. The putting exerciser of claim 1, wherein the case (C) comprises:

an upper case for covering an upper portion of the metal ball (B);
a lower case coupled to a bottom surface of the upper case and provided therein with the metal ball (B); and
a connection part disposed between lower cases.

3. The putting exerciser of claim 2, wherein the upper case includes an upper case body having a hollow structure, in which a lower surface of the upper case body is open to cover the upper surface of the metal ball (B), and a recess recessed in an inner side surface of the upper case body, and

the lower case includes a lower case body inserted into a lower inner side surface of the upper case body and having a hollow structure, in which upper and lower surfaces of the lower case body are open to accommodate therein the metal ball (B) such that a lower portion of the metal ball (B) is partially exposed, and a protruding sill protruding from an outer side surface of the lower case body and inserted into the recess.

4. The putting exerciser of claim 3, further comprising a cam member protruding in a horizontal direction from the upper case body.

5. The putting exerciser of claim 1, wherein the connection part comprises:

a plate-shape connection plate for connecting a pair of lower cases; and
a plurality of protruding ribs protruding from the connection plate and arranged in an extension direction of the connection plate.

6. The putting exerciser of claim 1, wherein the rail structure comprises:

a rail part having a groove (U) for mounting the metal ball (B) therein; and
a footrest disposed at one side of the rail part.

7. The putting exerciser of claim 6, wherein the rail part includes a rail body having a U-shape groove (U) making contact with a part of the metal ball (B), a footrest fastening part recessed on one side surface of the rail body such that the footrest is inserted into the footrest fastening part, and a cover member installed on both side ends of the rail body, and

the footrest includes a footrest body which a user steps on, a foot mark part displayed on the footrest body, and a putting distance display part displayed on one side of the rail body for indicating a distance.

8. A method for enhancing physical strength by using a putting exerciser of claim 1, the method comprising:

disposing a putting club (P) on an upper surface of the connection part between the cases (C) in a state that a user is positioned on the foot mark part of the footrest body; and
moving the movable ball case by hitting the lower case or the upper case with the putting club (P), so that the metal ball (B) is rotated inside the upper case and the lower case while one lower side of the metal ball (B) is moved on the groove (U) of the rail body.

9. The method of claim 8, further comprising adjusting a space between upper cases according to a thickness of the putting club (P) by changing a position of the cam member through rotating the upper case body of the upper case.

10. The method of claim 8, further comprising forming the groove (U) of the rail body to have a specific depth such that the case (C) is inclined at a specific angle, before moving the movable ball case by hitting the lower case or the upper case with the putting club (P).

11. The method of claim 8, further comprising measuring a movement distance of the movable ball case by the putting distance display part.
