Description
TECHNICAL FIELD

The present invention relates to a mascara for eyelash makeup, and more particularly, to a mascara for eyelash makeup which is manufactured by coupling a spiral brush band to a brush shaft.

BACKGROUND ART

In general, mascara refers to a cosmetic or a makeup tool mainly used by women for applying mascara liquids of various colors to the eyelashes for aesthetic effects on areas around the eyes.

Such a mascara generally includes a container containing a mascara liquid, a handle functioning as a lid for the container, a brush shaft shaped like a rod and protruding from a leading end portion of the handle, and a brush provided around the brush shaft, wherein as the handle is coupled to and separated from the container, the brush is loaded with the mascara liquid and is then used.

Mascara brushes are properly manufactured according to their functions determined by the lengths and types of bristles, such as a volumizing function (an effect of making eyelashes look fuller), a curling function (an effect of curling the ends of eyelashes upward), a long-lash function (an effect of making eyelashes look longer), or a clean function (an effect of preventing eyelashes from tangling).

Such mascara brushes should be effective in uniformly applying a viscous mascara liquid to the eyelashes and brushing the eyelashes without causing tangling.

Mascaras of the related art may include a simple brush formed integrally with a brush shaft and having only a bushing function, or a complex brush which is constituted by many components, difficult to fabricate, and incurs high fabricating costs.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION Technical Problem

To solve the above-described problems of the related art, the present invention provides a mascara for eyelash makeup which is produced by coupling a spiral brush band to a brush shaft in a spiral form.

Advantageous Effects of the Invention

According to a mascara brush of the present invention, brush protrusions (bristles) may be arranged in an irregular form. A brush loaded with a mascara liquid may be used to fix the eyelashes in various shapes. However, if the brush protrusions are arranged in a regular form or with large spaces between the protrusions, the effect of mascara may be poor. According to the present invention, brush protrusions may be easily arranged in various forms by a spirally winding assembly method. For example, brush protrusions may be tensely arranged by a winding assembly method to provide an optimal eyelash makeup effect.

A mascara brush of the present invention has relatively fewer components, and thus the manufacturing costs of the mascara brush may be markedly reduced. It is difficult to arrange protrusions of a one-piece type mascara brush in an irregular form, and thus a plurality of brushes may have to be combined to obtain irregularly-arranged brush protrusions, thereby increasing manufacturing costs. However, the mascara brush of the present invention may be manufactured using a single component, thereby reducing manufacturing costs.

The mascara brush of the present invention may have a freely adjustable protrusion arrangement. According to the present invention, the mascara brush may have a straight structure which is freely adjustable according to desired purposes.

MODE OF THE INVENTION

The present invention may be variously modified, and various embodiments may be provided according to the present invention. Hereinafter, some embodiments will be illustrated in the accompanying drawings and described in detail. Moreover, detailed descriptions related to well-known functions or configurations will be ruled out in order not to unnecessarily obscure subject matters of the present invention.

Hereinafter, preferred embodiments will now be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.

Referring to FIGS. 1 to 12 illustrating details of the present invention, a mascara for eyelash makeup includes: a brush shaft 10 having a body 12 on which upper and lower fixing parts 14 and 16 are formed; and a spiral brush band 20 provided in a band shape for coupling to the body 12 of the brush shaft 10 in a spiral form while surrounding the body 12 of the brush shaft 10, wherein a plurality of brush protrusions 30 are formed on an upper surface of a band body 22 of the spiral brush band 20, and fixing parts 24 and 24′ are formed on both end portions of the band body 22 for fixing to the upper and lower fixing parts 14 and 16 of the brush shaft 10.

In a mascara brush of the present invention, a plurality of catch grooves 26 may be formed in an inner side of the band body 22 of the spiral brush band 20.

In the mascara for eyelash makeup of the present invention, the brush protrusions 30 may be arranged on the upper surface of the band body 22 of the spiral brush band 20 in one form selected from a straight form and a zigzag form.

In the mascara for eyelash makeup of the present invention, a plurality of fixing parts 24-1 may be formed on the band body 22 of the spiral brush band 20.

In the mascara for eyelash makeup of the present invention, the band body 22 of the spiral brush band 20 may have a length of 100 mm to 400 mm.

In the mascara for eyelash makeup of the present invention, the band body 22 of the spiral brush band 20 may have a thickness of 0.3 mm to 2 mm.

In the mascara for eyelash makeup of the present invention, a spiral catch groove 18 may be formed in the body 12 of the brush shaft 10.

In the mascara for eyelash makeup of the present invention, shaft caps 40 and 40′ may be coupled to upper and lower portions of the brush shaft 10.

In the mascara for eyelash makeup of the present invention, the brush protrusions 30 may be bristles of a type selected from a hard type and a soft type.

Referring to FIGS. 1 to 10, the mascara for eyelash makeup of the present invention includes: the brush shaft 10 having the body 12 on which the upper and lower fixing parts 14 and 16 are formed; and the spiral brush band 20 provided in a band shape for coupling to the body 12 of the brush shaft 10 in a spiral form while surrounding the body 12 of the brush shaft 10, wherein the plurality of brush protrusions 30 are formed on the upper surface of the band body 22 of the spiral brush band 20, and the fixing parts 24 and 24′ are formed on both end portions of the band body 22 for fixing to the upper and lower fixing parts 14 and 16 of the brush shaft 10. Therefore, the spiral brush band 20 may be coupled to the brush shaft 10 in a spiral form.
