BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION(1) Field of the Invention.
(2) Description of Related Art including information disclosed under 37 CFR 1.97 and 1.98.
The disclosure and prior art relates to capturing devices and more particularly pertains to a new capturing device for capturing hair clippings during a hair cut.
BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTIONAn embodiment of the disclosure meets the needs presented above by generally comprising a glove that may be worn on a user's hand when the user is cutting hair. A flap is coupled to the glove and the flap may be wrapped around the user's wrist when the user wears the glove. A net is coupled to the glove and the net may capture hair clippings when the user is cutting hair thereby inhibiting the hair clippings from falling on a floor.
There has thus been outlined, rather broadly, the more important features of the disclosure in order that the detailed description thereof that follows may be better understood, and in order that the present contribution to the art may be better appreciated. There are additional features of the disclosure that will be described hereinafter and which will form the subject matter of the claims appended hereto.
The objects of the disclosure, along with the various features of novelty which characterize the disclosure, are pointed out with particularity in the claims annexed to and forming a part of this disclosure.
The disclosure will be better understood and objects other than those set forth above will become apparent when consideration is given to the following detailed description thereof. Such description makes reference to the annexed drawings wherein:
With reference now to the drawings, and in particular to
As best illustrated in
The body 22 has a top side 24, a bottom side 26, a first lateral side 28 and a distal edge 30 with respect to the thumb 18 and finger 20. The top side 24 has a bottom surface 32 and the first lateral side 28 is open. Thus, the user's middle finger 34, ring finger 36 and pinky finger 38 are exposed when the user 14 wears the glove 12. The top side 24 of the body 22 abuts a top 40 of the user's hand 42 and the bottom side 26 of the body 22 abuts the user's palm 44. Thus, the body 22 substantially surrounds the user's hand 42 when the user 14 wears the glove 12.
The user's thumb 46 may be positioned in the thumb 18 when the user 14 wears the glove 12. The thumb 18 has a first opening 48 extending therethrough. The first opening 48 may have air pass therethrough thereby facilitating the user's thumb 46 to be cooled when the user 14 wears the glove 12. The user's index finger 50 may be positioned in the finger 20 when the user 14 wears the glove 12. The finger 20 has a plurality of second openings 52 extending therethrough. Each of the second openings 52 may have air pass therethrough thereby facilitating the user's index finger 50 to be cooled when the user 14 wears the glove 12.
A flap 54 is coupled to the glove 12 and the flap 54 may be wrapped around the user's wrist 56 when the user 14 wears the glove 12. The flap 54 is coupled to the bottom side 26 of the body 22 and the flap 54 extends away from the first lateral side 28. The flap 54 is aligned with the distal edge 30 of the body 22. The flap 54 has a distal edge 57 with respect to the first lateral side 28 and the flap 54 has a top surface 58. The flap 54 flares outwardly between the first lateral side 28 and the distal edge 57 of the flap 54.
A first coupler 60 is coupled to the glove 12. The first coupler 60 is positioned on the body 22. The first coupler 60 is positioned on the bottom surface 32 of the top side 24. The first coupler 60 is aligned with the first lateral side 28.
A second coupler 62 is coupled to the flap 54 and the second coupler 62 is complementary to the first coupler 60. Thus, the first 60 and second 62 couplers retain the flap 54 around the user's wrist 56. The second coupler 62 is positioned on the top surface 58 of the flap 54 and the second coupler 62 is aligned with the distal edge 57 of the flap 54. Each of the first coupler 60 and the second coupler 62 may comprise a hook and loop fastener.
A net 64 is coupled to the glove 12 and the net 64 may capture hair clippings 66 when the user 14 is cutting hair 16. Thus, the hair clippings 66 are inhibited from falling on a floor or the like. The net 64 extends between the thumb 18 and the finger 20 on the glove 12. The net 64 has an edge 68 extending between the thumb 18 and the finger 20. The edge 68 may be comprised of a compressible material. Thus, the edge 68 is inhibited from irritating skin of a person getting a hair cut.
In use, the glove 12 is worn when the user 14 is cutting hair 16. The glove 12 is positioned against the forehead of a person getting a hair cut. The thumb 18 and finger 20 are urged apart to stretch the net 64 between the thumb 18 and finger 20. The net 64 is positioned on person's forehead to capture the hair clippings 66 as the person's hair is cut. Thus, the hair clippings 66 are inhibited from getting on the person's face during the hair cut. The glove 12 is removed when the hair cut is finished and the hair clippings 66 are washed from the glove 12.
With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of an embodiment enabled by the disclosure, to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, assembly and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one skilled in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed by an embodiment of the disclosure.
Therefore, the foregoing is considered as illustrative only of the principles of the disclosure. Further, since numerous modifications and changes will readily occur to those skilled in the art, it is not desired to limit the disclosure to the exact construction and operation shown and described, and accordingly, all suitable modifications and equivalents may be resorted to, falling within the scope of the disclosure. In this patent document, the word “comprising” is used in its non-limiting sense to mean that items following the word are included, but items not specifically mentioned are not excluded. A reference to an element by the indefinite article “a” does not exclude the possibility that more than one of the element is present, unless the context clearly requires that there be only one of the elements.
