Description
FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present application generally relates to faucets and, more particularly, relates to a pull-out faucet.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

At present, faucets are widely used in people's daily life for using water conveniently. A water nozzle of a pull-out faucet can be pulled out to wash articles at different positions and angles according to actual requirements.

Generally, a water nozzle of a pull-out faucet can be fixed in different ways. For instance, a joint of a soft tube can be coupled to a nozzle fixing sleeve of the water nozzle via interference fit, so as to realize reset and fixation of the water nozzle. However, the interference of the interference fit will reduce during the use of the water nozzle, which will lead to loose of the water nozzle and even wear or scratch of the joint of the water nozzle. In addition, the water nozzle cannot be coupled to the nozzle fixing sleeve conveniently. The operator has to pull the joint of the water nozzle back into the nozzle fixing sleeve of the water nozzle after use.

What is needed, therefore, is to provide a pull-out faucet having a water nozzle which can be readily reset and held without any damage to the water nozzle.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

One object of the present application is to provide a pull-out faucet having a water nozzle which can be readily reset and held without any damage to the water nozzle.

According to one embodiment of the present invention, a pull-out faucet includes:

  • a faucet body having a first end defining a water inlet being connected to a water source and a second end defining a water outlet;
  • a faucet tube assembled to the water outlet, the faucet tube being formed with a nozzle fixing sleeve at one end thereof afar from the water outlet; and
  • a soft tube assembly having a soft tube at least partly received in the faucet tube, the soft tube having a first end being connected to the water outlet and a second end being coupled with a water nozzle;
  • wherein the nozzle fixing sleeve is formed with a magnet and the water nozzle is formed with a ferromagnetic substance, and the water nozzle can be detachably assembled to the nozzle fixing sleeve via magnetic attraction between the magnet and the ferromagnetic substance.

According to one aspect of the present invention, the water nozzle is connected to the soft tube of the soft tube assembly via a normal joint or a universal joint.

According to one aspect of the present invention, the soft tube of the soft tube assembly is connected to the water outlet via a quick connector.

According to one aspect of the present invention, the quick connector is a C shaped clip quick connector.

According to one aspect of the present invention, the quick connector is a pin quick connector.

According to one aspect of the present invention, the quick connector is a U shaped clip quick connector.

Compared with the prior arts, the pull-out faucet in accordance with one embodiment of the present invention has the following advantages.

At one hand, the water nozzle can be conveniently reset and positioned by the user after use. The wear between the water nozzle and the nozzle fixing sleeve is very small, which can prolong the life span of the pull-out faucet.

At the other hand, even though the water nozzle is randomly placed on a workbench, the water faucet will not affect the iron articles or electronic products on the workbench, which can improve the safety performance of the pull-out faucet.

Other advantages and novel features will be drawn from the following detailed description of preferred embodiments with the attached drawings. The accompanying drawings, which are incorporated in and constitute a part of this specification, illustrate embodiments of the present invention and, together with a general description of the invention given above, and the detailed description of the embodiments given below, serve to explain the principles of the invention:

Indeed, the invention may be embodied in many different forms and should not be construed as limited to the embodiments set forth herein; rather, these embodiments are provided so that this disclosure will satisfy applicable legal requirements. Like reference numerals refer to like elements throughout.

Referring to FIGS. 1 to 5, the pull-out faucet according to one embodiment of the present invention includes:

  • a faucet body 10 having a first end defining a water inlet 10b being connected to a water source and a second end defining a water outlet 10a;
  • a faucet tube 20 assembled to the water outlet 10a, the faucet tube 20 being formed with a nozzle fixing sleeve 30 at one end thereof afar from the water outlet 10a ; and a soft tube assembly 40 having a soft tube 42 at least partly received in the faucet tube 20, the soft tube assembly 40 having a first end being connected to the water outlet 10a and a second end being coupled with a water nozzle 50;
  • wherein the nozzle fixing sleeve 30 is formed with a magnet 60 and the water nozzle 50 is correspondingly formed with a ferromagnetic substance 70, and the water nozzle 50 can be detachably assembled to the nozzle fixing sleeve 50 via magnetic attraction between the magnet 60 and the ferromagnetic substance 70.

Referring to FIGS. 1 and 3, the nozzle fixing sleeve 30 includes a first injection portion 31, a magnet 60 and a second injection portion 33. The magnet 60 is installed in the preformed first injection portion 31. The preformed first injection portion 31 with the magnet 60 installed therein is further installed in the second injection portion 33, so as to fix the magent 60 and form the nozzle fixing sleeve 30. One end of the nozzle fixing sleeve 30 is inserted into one end of the faucet tube 20 afar from the water outlet 10a.
