Please refer to FIGS. 1, 2 and 3. FIGS. 1 and 2 show an embodiment of the baby carrier according to the present disclosure. FIG. 3 shows a partial sectional enlarged view of the baby holding room of the baby carrier of the present disclosure. The baby carrier of the present disclosure comprises a waist strap 10, a carrier body 20, and two shoulder straps 30.

The waist strap 10 has a baby contact surface 101, a waist contact surface 102 which is opposite to the baby contact surface 101, and a bottom edge 105. Further, two connection ends 103 can be formed on two ends of the waist strap 10, respectively, and a first connection member 104 can be disposed between the two connection ends 103 to detachably connect the two ends of the waist strap 10.

The waist contact surface 102 of the waist strap 10 can closely adjoin a user's torso and make the waist strap 10 fit the user's waist. The bottom edge 105 is disposed on the bottom of the waist strap 10.

The carrier body 20 is connected to the bottom edge 105 of the waist strap 10, and extends upwardly from the bottom edge 105, so as that the carrier body 20 can be folded or bended inversely to face the baby contact surface 101 of the waist strap 10 and thereby to form a U-shaped structure, as shown in FIG. 3. The carrier body 20 can have a nursery surface 201 and a back surface 202 which is opposite to the nursery surface 201. The carrier body 20 has a first side 50 and a second side 51 in a lateral direction. A baby holding room 12 is formed by the nursery surface 201 of the carrier body 20 together with the baby contact surface 101 of the waist strap 10 and a portion of the carrier body 20 that is connected to the waist strap 10.

The baby holding room 12 can ensure the baby can be settled in the baby holding room 12 stably, no matter the user carries the baby by the baby carrier or takes off the baby carrier, as shown in FIGS. 2 and 3.

In one embodiment, two connection portions 60 can be disposed on the first and second sides of the carrier body 20, wherein at least one connection hole 61 can be formed through each of the connection portions 60.

Each of the two shoulder straps 30 respectively has a top end 31 and a bottom end 32. One of the two shoulder straps 30 can have its top end 31 disposed on the first side 50 of the carrier body 20 and its bottom end 32 passing through the connection hole 61 of the connection portion 60 at the second side 51 of the carrier body 20; and the other of the two shoulder straps 30 can have its top end 31 disposed on the second side 51 of the carrier body 20 and its bottom end 32 passing through the connection hole 61 of the connection portion 60 at the first side 50 of the carrier body 20. A second connection member 40 can be disposed between the bottom ends 32 of the two shoulder straps 30, respectively, to detachably connect the bottom ends 32 of the two shoulder straps 30.

In one embodiment, the carrier body 20 can further comprises a hood 21 disposed on the top of the carrier body 20. Two fixed straps (not shown) can be formed on the two sides of the hood 21, respectively. Further, at least one first binding element (not shown) can be formed on each of the two fixed straps and at least one second binding element 33 can be formed on the shoulder straps 30. The at least one first binding element can be engageable with the at least one second binding element 33.

The baby carrier of the disclosure can further comprise an outer bag 22 formed on the back surface 202 of the carrier body 20.

In one embodiment, the first connection member 104 can comprise a first pair of buckles, wherein the first pair of buckles comprises a first male buckle and a first female buckle which is corresponding to the first male buckle. In one embodiment, the second connection member 40 can comprise a second pair of buckles, wherein the second pair of buckles comprises a second male buckle and a second female buckle which is corresponding to the second male buckle.

In the embodiments, each of the first pair of buckles has an adjustable length. In some other embodiments, one of the first pair of buckles has a fixed length, and the other of the first pair of buckles has an adjustable length.

In the embodiments, each of the second pair of buckles has an adjustable length. In some other embodiments, one of the second pair of buckles has a fixed length, and the other of the second pair of buckles has an adjustable length.

In yet another embodiment, two security straps (not shown in the figures) can be further disposed on the first side 50 and the second side (not shown in the figures) of the carrier body 20, respectively. The two security straps can have adjustable lengths and be engageable with each other. In another embodiment, two security straps are absent. The security straps can support and fasten the baby to increase the security.

As shown in FIG. 2. It illustrates the use of the baby carrier of the present disclosure in practice. The baby's buttocks and thighs can be placed in the baby holding room 12 stably when the user carries the baby by the baby carrier of the present disclosure.

Refer to FIG. 1. The baby carrier of the disclosure provides support for the baby by the first connection member 104, the second connection member 40 and the crossing of the two shoulder straps 30.

The baby carrier of the present disclosure provides a unique structure which allows the loading pressure from the baby's weight evenly distribute to the user's back and shoulders through the second connection member 40 and the crossing of the two shoulder straps 30 on the user's back instead of distributing the baby's weight on the user's shoulders only as shown in FIG. 4. Besides, the first connection member 104 offers additional support due to the waist strap 10 which adjoins the user's waist.

Moreover, the lengths of the first pair of buckles and the second buckles are able to be adjusted and thereby the baby carrier can be adjoined against the user's torso more closely.

In a result, the baby carrier will not only provide a safer room for the baby but also distribute the pressure form the baby's weight more efficiently.

Furthermore, since the baby carrier's users are female generally, the predetermined connection site of the second connection member 40 between the bottom ends 32 of the two shoulder straps 30 is disposed adjacent to the engaging site a of a normal women's underwear (FIG. 1). Given that, the second connection member 40 of the baby carrier is not likely to be out of reach when a female user needs to take off the baby carrier. In other words, the baby carrier can be used in a more intuitive way by the user.

With above technical means, the present disclosure provides the following:

1. The baby holding room 12 is formed by the nursery surface 201 of the carrier body 20 together with the baby contact surface 101 of the waist strap 10 and a portion of the carrier body 20 that is connected to the waist strap 10, which are disposed oppositely to the nursery surface 201. Therefore, the baby's buttocks and thighs can be placed in the baby holding room 12 stably to increase the safety for the user and the carried baby.

2. Two shoulder straps 30 are cross-disposed and pass through the connection hole 61 of the connection portion 60 disposed on the sides of the carrier body 20. Therefore, the baby carrier of the disclosure can provide support for the baby by the second connection member 40 and the crossing of the two shoulder straps 30, and even by the first connection member 104. Multiple distribution sites of the baby carrier are able to effectively distribute the loading pressure from the baby's weight, which allows the user to be more comfortable.

3. Generally, the baby carrier's users are female, the predetermined connection site of the second connection member 40 between the bottom ends 32 of the baby carrier of the present disclosure is disposed adjacent to the engaging site a of a normal women's underwear. It will avoid the situation that the second connection member 40 of the baby carrier is out of reach when a female user needs to take off the baby carrier. In other words, the baby carrier can be used in a more intuitive way by the user.

The foregoing descriptions of the detailed embodiments are only illustrated to disclose the features and functions of the present disclosure and not restrictive of the scope of the present disclosure. It should be understood to those in the art that all modifications and variations according to the spirit and principle in the disclosure of the present disclosure should fall within the scope of the appended claims.
