BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

A more particular description of the embodiments briefly described above will be rendered by reference to specific embodiments that are illustrated in the appended drawings. Understanding that these drawings depict only some embodiments and are not therefore to be considered to be limiting of scope, the embodiments will be described and explained with additional specificity and detail through the use of the accompanying drawings, in which:

FIG. 1 is a perspective assembly drawing illustrating one embodiment of a vaporizer;

FIG. 2 is a detailed perspective assembly drawing illustrating one embodiment of a vaporizer;

FIG. 3 is a cutaway side view drawing illustrating one embodiment of a vaporizer;

FIG. 4 is a cutaway assembly drawing illustrating one embodiment of a vaporizer;

FIG. 5 is a detailed perspective assembly drawing illustrating one embodiment of a combustion element;

FIG. 6 is a cutaway side view drawing illustrating one embodiment of a combustion element; and

FIG. 7 is a cutaway perspective drawing illustrating one embodiment of a combustion element.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION

Reference throughout this specification to “one embodiment,” “an embodiment,” or similar language means that a particular feature, structure, or characteristic described in connection with the embodiment is included in at least one embodiment. Thus, appearances of the phrases “in one embodiment,” “in an embodiment,” and similar language throughout this specification may, but do not necessarily, all refer to the same embodiment, but mean “one or more but not all embodiments” unless expressly specified otherwise. The terms “including,”“comprising,” “having,” and variations thereof mean “including but not limited to,”unless expressly specified otherwise. An enumerated listing of items does not imply that any or all of the items are mutually exclusive, unless expressly specified otherwise. The terms “a,” “an,” and “the” also refer to “one or more” unless expressly specified otherwise.

The description of elements in each figure may refer to elements of proceeding figures. Like numbers refer to like elements in all figures, including alternate embodiments of like elements.

FIG. 1 is a perspective assembly drawing illustrating one embodiment of a vaporizer 100. The vaporizer 100 includes a 510 battery 101, a positive pin 102, a steel mesh ground 103, a 510-pin connector 104, a button 105, a ceramic cup 106, a mouthpiece 107, a combustion element 108, a coil wire 109, a fused quartz 110, a river pin insulator 111, and a dart 112.

The coil wire 109 may heat an active ingredient in the combustion chamber 108, vaporizing the active ingredient. The vaporized active ingredient may be drawn from the combustion chamber 108, around the dart 112, and through the mouthpiece 107.

Unfortunately, combustion residue may accumulate on the interior walls of the combustion chamber 108. The embodiments described herein may remove the combustion residue from the combustion chamber 108 when the dart 112 is inserted into the combustion chamber 108 during the normal course of operation.

The vaporizing of the active ingredient is enhanced when sufficient airflow is available in the combustion chamber 108. The embodiments described herein improve the airflow into the combustion chamber as will be described hereafter.

FIG. 2 is a detailed perspective assembly drawing illustrating one embodiment of the vaporizer 100. The combustion chamber 108 includes a chamber inner wall. The ceramic cup 106 includes a cup inner wall, a cup outer wall, and at least one groove. The cup outer wall abuts the chamber inner wall as the ceramic cup 106 is disposed within the combustion chamber 108. The at least one groove may provide an air pathway for airflow along the chamber inner wall into the combustion chamber 108.

The 510 pin connector 104 includes one or more air passages. The air passages are disposed parallel to a longitudinal axis of the vaporizer 100. Air may flow through the air passages and the at least one groove into the combustion chamber 108.

The dart 112 includes one or more scrapers 114. The scrapers 114 may scrape the cup inner wall as the dart 112 is rotated about a longitudinal axis of the vaporizer 100.

The dart 112 may be physically connected to the mouthpiece 107. The mouthpiece 107 may be screwed onto the combustion chamber 108 using threads 115 disposed on the combustion chamber 108. In one embodiment, the active ingredient is inserted into the combustion chamber 108. The mouthpiece 107 may then be screwed onto the combustion chamber 108, rotating the dart 112 about the longitudinal axis and scraping combustion residue from the cup inner wall.

FIG. 3 is a cutaway side view drawing illustrating one embodiment of the vaporizer 100. The scrapers 114 are shown contacting the cup inner wall.

FIG. 4 is a cutaway assembly drawing illustrating one embodiment of the vaporizer 100. In the depicted embodiment, air flows through the air passages of the 510 connector pin 104 and the at least one groove into the combustion chamber 108.

FIG. 5 is a detailed perspective assembly drawing illustrating one embodiment of the combustion element 108. A coil 113 is shown disposed in the ceramic cup 106 of the combustion element 108. The coil 113 heat the active ingredient. In one embodiment, the coil 113 is embedded in the ceramic cup 106.

FIG. 6 is a cutaway side view drawing illustrating one embodiment of the combustion element 108. The position of the coil 113 in the assembled combustion element 108 is shown.

FIG. 7 is a cutaway perspective drawing illustrating one embodiment of 108 combustion element. The position of the coil 113 in the assembled combustion element 108 is shown.

Embodiments may be practiced in other specific forms. The described embodiments are to be considered in all respects only as illustrative and not restrictive. The scope of the invention is, therefore, indicated by the appended claims rather than by the foregoing description. All changes which come within the meaning and range of equivalency of the claims are to be embraced within their scope.
