Description
BACKGROUND Technical Field

The embodiments herein generally relate a container, and, more particularly to a spill proof denture container.

Description of the Related Art

The old age people mostly rely on dental appliances like dentures, retainer, and mouth guards. The dental appliances are required to be kept free of microorganisms/environmental pollutions. The dental appliances are required to be cleaned on regular basis is a good practice. When the dental appliances are not in use, the dental appliances are required to be kept in a liquid inside a container to keep it germ free.

There are many containers in the market sold at high prices. The containers are made of low grade plastic, this leads to the breaking of the container. The other major problem in most of the present containers is the leakage and spillage. The containers open up when kept in the purse, bag or alike. This leads to the hygiene problems and sometimes damage to the dental appliances.

The present invention provides a better solution to the above mentioned problems, by providing a cheap and easy to carry, compact, spill and leak proof container.

FIG. 1 illustrates a graphical representation of a spill proof denture container according to an embodiment herein;

FIG. 2 illustrates a graphical representation of retractable strainer according to a second embodiment herein;

FIG. 3 illustrates a graphical representation of the retractable strainer being contained within a spill proof denture container according to an embodiment herein.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

The embodiments herein and the various features and advantageous details thereof are explained more fully with reference to the non-limiting embodiments that are illustrated in the accompanying drawings and detailed in the following description. Descriptions of well-known components and processing techniques are omitted so as to not unnecessarily obscure the embodiments herein. The examples used herein are intended merely to facilitate an understanding of ways in which the embodiments herein may be practiced and to further enable those of skill in the art to practice the embodiments herein. Accordingly, the examples should not be construed as limiting the scope of the embodiments herein.

As mentioned, there remains a need of a spill proof container for carrying dentures. The embodiments herein achieve this by providing a spill proof denture container. Referring now to the drawings, and more particularly to FIGS. 1 through 2, where similar reference characters denote corresponding features consistently throughout the figures, there are shown preferred embodiments.

FIG. 1 illustrates a graphical representation of a spill proof dental appliance container 100 to store a denture (not shown in FIG. 1) according to an embodiment herein. The spill proof dental appliance container 100 includes a lid 102, a retractable strainer 104, and a lower portion 106. The lid 102 includes one or more internal threads 108 in an inner surface of the lid 102. The lower portion 106 includes one or more external threads 112 on a top of lower portion 106. The one or more internal threads 108 of the lid 102 screws over the one or more external threads 112 of the lower portion 106 to close the spill proof dental appliance container 100.

The lower portion 106 includes liquid for protecting the denture (i.e., false teeth) from dusts and environmental pollutions. The retractable strainer 104 is adapted to hold the denture. A handle 110 is attached to the retractable strainer 104 to withdraw from or place back the retractable strainer 104 to the lower portion 106 of the spill proof dental appliance container 100. The retractable strainer 104 includes holes 116 that allow proper drainage of the liquid from the retractable strainer 104 to the lower portion 106 of the spill proof dental appliance container 100. The lid 102 includes ridges 114 that are adapted for easy opening and closing of the spill proof dental appliance container 100. In one embodiment, the spill proof dental appliance container 100 is used to keep other dry articles like hearing aids or alike.
