Multilayered Thermally-insulating Garment with Ventilating Inserts
A multilayered thermally-insulating garment with ventilating inserts uses a thermally-insulative unitard, multiple venting inserts, and a chest opening to encourage perspiration of a user while exercising. The thermally-insulative unitard is a garment that is designed to be worn by a user and to promote perspiration. To accomplish this, the thermally-insulative unitard makes use of a multilayered construction that includes an interior layer, an intermediate layer, and an exterior layer. This construction enables the thermally-insulative unitard to trap the user's body heat, prevent sweat penetration, and remain flexible. The venting inserts are sections of a flexible and air-permeable material that are integrated into various portions of the thermally-insulative unitard. These sections are worn over the user's armpits, crotch, and buttock to enable air to flow past these portions of the user's body; thus, preventing odors. The chest opening is a cutout that exposes the user's chest through the thermally-insulative unitard.
The current application claims a priority to the U.S. Provisional Patent application Ser. No. 62/370,587 filed on Aug. 03, 2016.
FIELD OF THE INVENTIONThe present invention relates generally to sweat suits. More specifically, the present invention relates to a perspiration-promoting unitard that an individual can wear during exercise. The present invention promotes perspiration, regulates the user's body temperature, provides ventilation to reduce odors in intimate areas, provides better mobility during exercise, and will function as a formfitting garment for individuals of varying shape and size.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTIONSweat suits, otherwise known as sauna suits, have been used by individuals for many years, and are generally worn when exercising for a number of reasons. For example, sweat suits utilize the natural body heat generated from any type of low or high energy physical exercises to increase perspiration during workouts. Additionally, sweat suits are known to increase metabolism and help burn extra calories through the increase in body heat. Therefore, weight loss can be maximized during workouts by wearing a sweat suit. However, wearing sweat suits can be undesirable for a variety of reasons. For instance, many sweat suits that are available today are not made for comfort.
The present invention is a more effective and comfortable alternative to the existing sweat suits that are available today. The present invention will utilize a composite fabric that comprises a neoprene layer, this neoprene layer is sandwiched between elastomeric materials such as nylon, spandex, or polyester. This fabric will increase the user's perspiration compared to sweat suits made of other materials. Additionally, the composite fabric used in the present invention will keep the wearers body warm during cold days, allowing individuals to exercise outdoors with ease and comfort. For added comfort, spandex fabric will be integrated into the armpit, crotch, and buttock areas. The spandex fabric will make these areas breathable and provide ventilation that reduces odors produced by these intimate areas. As a result, the armpit, crotch, and buttock areas produce less odor during and after physical exercises. Additionally, the spandex fabric will provide better mobility in these areas due to the flexibility of the fabric. Another added layer of comfort for the present invention will be the addition of spandex fabric at the end of the sleeves and leg area. This allows the sleeve ends to adjust to different diameter sizes very easily, allowing for a perfect fit for arms and legs of all sizes. Further, the preferred embodiment of the present invention will be bust-free. This provides comfort and avoids flattening of a woman's bust when using the present invention.
