Fabrication

Numerous types of methods, materials, and combinations of methods and/or materials may be used to fabricate a customizable chair topper as described herein. Examples of such materials include, but are not limited to, canvas, cloth, laminated materials, polymeric materials, metals, ceramics, wood, polystyrene, felt, acrylic, and the like. Such materials may be sewn, glued, riveted, and the like to create a chair topper as shown and described herein.

In some embodiments, a customizable chair topper may be fabricated from two similarly sized substantially rectangular panels that are operably coupled (e.g., sewn, glued, stapled, and the like) on three edges and not coupled on one edge to create an aperture between the two panels that is configured to receive the backrest of a chair (e.g., all of the backrest or a portion of the backrest). In some embodiments, a customizable chair topper may be fabricated from a tube of flexible material. For example, in some embodiments, tubular material (e.g., cloth, canvas, and the like) may be cut perpendicularly relative to the length of the tube to produce a ring of material having a desired length and two open ends. The sides of one open end of the ring of material may then be coupled together to fabricate a customizable chair topper having three operably coupled edges and one open edge. In some embodiments, a substantially rectangular sheet of flexible material may be folded in half and two lateral edges of the folded material may be operably coupled to fabricate a customizable chair topper having three operably coupled edges and one open edge.

Numerous other fabrication methods may be used to produce a customizable chair topper. Various containment pockets and cushion pockets may be additionally added to produce a customizable chair topper.

Numerous types of methods, materials, and combinations of methods and/or materials may be used to fabricate a charm as described herein. Examples of such materials include, but are not limited to, cloth, laminated materials, polymeric materials, metals, ceramics, wood, polystyrene, felt, acrylic, and the like.
