Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to a bra cup, and more particularly to a support structure of the bra cup which supports and lifts each of user's breasts firmly and has wearing comfort to a brassiere.

Description of the Prior Art

A conventional brassiere is made of fabric material and contains two bra cups made of foam or cotton so as to cover user's breasts, wherein each of the two bra cups is thermoplastic molded so as to correspond to and to support each of the user's breasts. Alternatively, the brassiere is thermoplastic molded from the foam or the cotton so as to support and lift said each breast. Furthermore, a reinforcement underwire is accommodated in a bottom of said each bra cup and is made of metal material or plastic material.

When the reinforcement underwire is fixed on a bottom of the bra cup, an arcuate sleeve is sewed and is configured to house the reinforcement underwire, and an opening of the arcuate sleeve is closed in a sewing manner, after housing the reinforcement underwire. However, the brassiere is manufactured at high production cost in the sewing manner. Furthermore, the brassiere is wrinkled in sewing process.

As desiring to fix the reinforcement underwire is in a bottom of the bra cup, the bra cup is heated by a mold in a breast shape, and two foam sheets or two cotton sheets are heated and pressed by a heat pressing mold, thereafter the reinforcement underwire is accommodated between the two foam sheets or the two cotton sheets, and the two foam sheets or two cotton sheets are heated and pressed by the heat pressing mold so as to cover and limit the reinforcement.

Nevertheless, when the reinforcement underwire is made of metal material, it forces a bottom of the breast by which a press mark lefts on the bottom of the breast after removing the brassiere, thus causing wearing discomfort. When the reinforcement underwire is made of plastic material, it cannot support and lift the breast completely.

The present invention has arisen to mitigate and/or obviate the afore-described disadvantages.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

The present invention will be clearer from the following description when viewed together with the accompanying drawings, which show, for purpose of illustrations only, the preferred embodiment in accordance with the present invention.

Referring to FIGS. 1-3, a support structure of a bra cup according to a first embodiment of the present invention comprises a body 10 and a reinforcement underwire 20.

The body 10 includes an internal connection layer 11, an external connection layer 12, a concave face 13, and a convex face 14, wherein the internal connection layer 11 is comprised of a first substrate 111 and a lining fabric 112 adhered on an inner surface of the first substrate 111, and the external connection layer 12 is comprised of a second substrate 121 and a covering fabric 122 adhered on an outer surface of the second substrate 121, wherein the first substrate 111 and the second substrate 121 are made of foam or cotton fibers.

The reinforcement underwire 20 is in an arcuate strap shape and is fixed between a bottom of the internal connection layer 11 and a bottom of the external connection layer 12 of the body 10, and the reinforcement underwire 20 includes a first core layer 21, a second core layer 22, and a protection layer 23, wherein the first core layer 21 and the second core layer 22 are made of fabric material, the first core layer 21 has a hollow portion 211 defined therein, the second core layer 22 covers the first core layer 21, and the protection layer 23 is made of thermoplastic material (such as silicone or rubber) and covers the second core layer 22.

Referring to FIGS. 4 and 5, in application, two bodies 10 and two reinforcement underwires 20 are fixed on a brassiere 30 so that the two bodies 10 cover user's breasts, respectively, wherein the two reinforcement underwires 20 support bottoms of the user's breasts, respectively. Preferably, two first core layers 21 and two second core layers 22 of the two reinforcement underwires 20 are made of fabric material, and two protection layers 23 of the two reinforcement underwires 20 are made of thermoplastic material and cover the two second core layers 22, individually, thus obtaining wearing comfort and supporting capacity of the brassiere 30.

As shown in FIGS. 6 and 7, in a second embodiment, a body 10 includes a connection layer 11a, a concave face 13, and a convex face 14, wherein the connection layer 11a is comprised of a substrate 111a, a lining fabric 112a adhered on an inner surface of the substrate 111a, and a covering fabric 113a adhered on an outer surface of the substrate 111a, wherein the substrate 111a is made of foam or cotton fibers. In addition, a reinforcement underwire 20 is fixed on a bottom of the concave face 13 of the body 10.

Therefore, the support structure of the bra cup of the present invention has advantages as follows:
