Hair Coloring Apparatus
A hair coloring apparatus includes a hair-color composition tube, a cap, and an off-scalp brush applicator. The hair-color composition tube, which contains the coloring agent, is enclosed with the cap. The off-scalp brush application is concentrically positioned and adjacently connected with the cap. Generally, the off-scalp brush is positioned within the hair-color composition tube. Once the user is ready to color his or her hair, the cap is removed from the hair-color composition tube allowing the off-scalp brush applicator, which is dipped in the coloring agent, to be utilized with the hair. Insertion and removal of the off-scalp brush applicator into the hair-color composition tube allows the user withdraw and apply additional coloring product as need.
The present invention relates generally to a hair coloring apparatus. More specifically, the hair coloring apparatus provides an efficient coloring process through an integrated brush that is positioned within a composition tube.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTIONHair coloring is the practice of changing the color of one's hair, which is mainly done due to cosmetic reason. For example, hair coloring is done by an individual to cover up gray hair, to change to a desired color as a fashionable statement, and to restore original hair color. Generally, hair coloring is conducted by professional hairdresser due the associated adverse effects that may occur during the process, due to other health conditions, and to achieve a professional outcome. However, due to the involvement of the professional hairdressers, the hair coloring process can be expensive and time consuming for general consumers. As a result, the hair coloring industry provides independent coloring kits that allow consumers to color their own hair. The main problem with the independent coloring kits is that majority of consumers are not able to achieve the professional outcome due to lack of practice and/or lack of proper tools.
It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide a hair coloring apparatus that allows individuals to color their own hair while attaining a professional outcome. The present invention contains the hair-coloring composition within a tube while an integrated brush applicator that is connected with a cap allows an individual to color his or her hair. As a result, the present invention creates a clean environment for the coloring process and provides an efficient coloring method to achieve a professional outlook.
All illustrations of the drawings are for the purpose of describing selected versions of the present invention and are not intended to limit the scope of the present invention.
The present invention is a hair coloring apparatus that is specifically configured to allow an individual to color their own hair, without going to a professional hairdresser. The present invention utilizes off-scalp coloring technique and is capable of performing a permanent hair coloring type, a demi-permanent hair coloring type, a semi-permanent hair coloring type, and a temporary hair coloring type. In reference to
The cap 6 provides two main functionalities within the present invention. More specifically, the cap 6 seals the hair-color composition tube 1 in order to protect the coloring agent within and functions as a handle for the off-scalp brush applicator 9. In reference to
The hair-color composition tube 1 stores the coloring agent so that the user is able to cleanly extract the coloring agent through the off-scalp brush applicator 9. In reference to
The off-scalp brush applicator 9 allows the user to evenly apply the coloring agent to their hair. The off-scalp brush applicator 9 comprises a base member 10, an elongated shaft 11, and a plurality of bristles 12. In reference to
