CROSS-REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATIONS

The present application claims priority under 35 U.S.C. §119 to Japanese Patent Application No. 2016-237108, filed Nov. 17, 2016. The contents of this application are incorporated herein by reference in their entirety.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to a hairstyle preserving liner that is attached to the inside of a typical head covering generally put on for exercise, sport, or the like and suppresses hair from being pressed and flattened after putting on the head covering.

Discussion of the Background

In general, when putting on a head covering, hair is pressed and flattened and a hairstyle is messed. For this reason, even when necessary to prevent or reduce the adverse effect of ultraviolet and infrared light of sunlight or desiring to put on a head covering in order to coordinate with clothes, many people warry that their hairstyles will be messed and avoid putting on a head covering.

For this reason, for example, as disclosed in Japanese Utility Model No. 3086441, it is proposed to attach tools, each of which is prepared by attaching a protrusion to the center of a rubber-based flat plate, to a head covering.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

Since the above tools are attached to the head covering one by one, when parts directly contacting with a scalp get dirty, the tools have to be detached from the head covering one by one, cleaned, dried, and then attached to the head covering one by one. This is such troublesome work.

Also, only parts where the tools are attached unnaturally rise, and thereby the shape of the head covering is deformed to significantly reduce fashionability, whereas in parts where the head covering and the scalp are not parallel, the edges of protrusions contact with the scalp to cause swelling and redness sometimes.

Further, when wearing the head covering low, the protrusions may bend from their bases to press and flatten hair.

Therefore, the present invention intends to provide a hairstyle preserving liner that can be easily attached/detached to/from the inside of a head covering, reduces damage to a scalp, and suppresses the head covering from being partially deformed and hair from being pressed and flattened after putting on the head covering.

The hairstyle preserving liner of the present invention made in order to solve the above-described problems is a hairstyle preserving liner that is attached to the inside of a head covering and fitted to the head of a human body, and the hairstyle preserving liner includes: a liner main body; and multiple protruding members formed on the surface of the liner main body facing to the head. In addition, in the hairstyle preserving liner, the heights of the multiple protruding members are set such that the radially innermost protruding members around the central part of the liner main body are highest, and the radially outermost protruding members are lowest; and the liner main body is formed of a flexible material and has multiple tongue-shaped parts that in an expanded state, extend circumferentially at regular intervals and radially outward around the central part facing to the top area of the head of the human body.

A second aspect of the present invention is such that in the expanded state, at least one of the multiple tongue-shaped parts has a T-shape of which both of circumferentially side surfaces of the fore end part circumferentially protrude, and the fore end part of the T-shape has no protruding member and when the hairstyle preserving liner is attached to the inside of the head covering, is inserted inside a sweatband around the inner circumferential edge of the lower end part of a crown.

A third aspect of the present invention is such that at least one of the central part and the multiple tongue-shaped parts is formed with an opening part.

A fourth aspect of the present invention is such that the multiple tongue-shaped parts are provided so as to face to at least the frontal area, left and right side areas, and back area of the head of the human body.

A fifth aspect of the present invention is such that among the multiple tongue-shaped parts, a tongue-shaped part facing to the back area of the head is shorter in length radially around the central part than the other tongue-shaped parts, and when the hairstyle preserving liner is attached to the inside of the head covering, the tongue-shaped part facing to the back area of the head is not exposed from a size adjustment U-shaped slit formed in the head covering.

A sixth aspect of the present invention is such that the multiple protruding members are of a conical shape having a top on which multiple spherical parts are present.

A seventh aspect of the present invention is such that the multiple protruding members are elastically deformable.

An eighth aspect of the present invention is such that the heights of the multiple protruding members are set to be sequentially lower radially outward from the central part of the liner main body.

A ninth aspect of the present invention is such that the liner main body and the protruding members are formed of any of or a composite material of at least two of polyethylene, polypropylene, polyvinyl chloride, polyethylene terephthalate, and polyamide that are thermoplastic resins, a styrene elastomer that is a thermoplastic elastomer, and silicone rubber, fluorine rubber, urethane rubber, ethylene-propylene rubber, and chloroprene rubber that are synthetic rubbers.

A tenth aspect of the present invention is a head covering attached inside with the hairstyle preserving liner.

An eleventh aspect of the present invention is the head covering having a vent hole in a crown. In addition, the liner is attached to a position not to block the vent hole.

According to the present invention, as in the above means, since the hairstyle preserving liner is formed of a flexible material, when not attached to the inside of the head covering, the hairstyle preserving liner can be stored or carried in a flat state and also meet a contingency in a place such as a place of visit. In addition, since the hairstyle preserving liner has the multiple tongue-shaped parts, the hairstyle preserving liner can be appropriately attached to the inside of any of variously sized head coverings, and when commuting to work or school or even when doing exercise, sport, or the like, suppress hair from being pressed and flattened.

According to the present invention, as in the above means, since the liner main body and the multiple protruding members are formed of a relatively inexpensive material such as polyethylene, overall thickness can be reduced. In addition, since the opening part is formed in at least one of the central part and the multiple tongue-shaped parts, an uncomfortable feeling at the time of putting on can be eliminated because of a further weight reduction and flexibility, and the multiple protruding member and the like can comfortably and economically suppress hair from being pressed and flattened.

According to the present invention, as in the above means, since the liner main body is formed in a position not to block the vent hole of the crown of the head covering, the head can be prevented from getting sweaty to cause an uncomfortable feeling, and as a result, even on a hot summer day or even when doing exercise or the like, the hairstyle preserving liner can be attached to the head covering.

According to the present invention, as in the above means, since the T-shaped fore end part having no protruding member is attached inserted inside the sweatband around the inner circumferential edge of the lower end part of the crown of the head covering, the T-shaped fore end part having no protruding member does not swing, and therefore the hairstyle preserving liner does not shift at the time of putting on and is not detached from the head covering when taking off the head covering in a place such as a room.

According to the present invention, as in the above means, since the protruding members are of a conical shape having a top on which multiple spherical parts are present, and elastically deformable, it is possible to disperse pressure placed on the scalp of the head of the human body, absorb the friction between the scalp and the protrusion parts by elastic deformation, and prevent marks of the protruding members from being left on the scalp after taking off, and/or pain.

According to the present invention, as in the above means, since the tongue-shaped part fitted to the back area of the head is formed in a position that is unviewable from the size adjustment U-shaped slit of the head covering in a state where the hairstyle preserving liner is attached to the inside of the head covering, fashionability is not impaired even when putting on the head covering.

DESCRIPTION OF THE EMBODIMENTS

In the following, an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.

FIGS. 1 to 5 illustrate a hairstyle preserving liner 10 of the present invention, and the hairstyle preserving liner 10 includes : a liner main body 11 that is attached to the inside of a head covering 1 and fitted to the head of a human body; and protruding members 12 that are formed on the liner main body 11.

The hairstyle preserving liner 10 is formed of, for example, thermoplastic resin that is a flexible material. For this reason, the hairstyle preserving liner 10 can be folded and contained in a bag or the like. Accordingly, the hairstyle preserving liner 10 can be carried when going out and only when necessary, taken out for putting on the head covering 1.

As illustrated in FIG. 2, the head covering 1 attached inside with the hairstyle preserving liner 10 is a baseball cap; however, as long as the head covering 1 is configured to include a crown 2 and a sweatband 4, any type of a so-called cap, hat, hunting cap, and beret can be widely applied.

The liner main body 11 includes: a central part 11a corresponding to the top area of the head of a human body; and multiple tongue-shaped parts 11b that are formed so as to extend around from the central part 11a. As illustrated in FIGS. 3 and 4, when expanded in a free state, the liner main body 11 can be brought into a flat plate state. Also, as illustrated in FIGS. 1 and 2, owing to the flexibility of the liner main body 11, the liner main body 11 can be bent such that the multiple tongue-shaped parts 11b hang downward around the central part 11a. This allows the tongue-shaped parts 11b to be fitted to the head excluding the top area of the head of a human body, specifically, fitted to the frontal area, left and right side areas, and back area of the head as illustrated in FIG. 2.

As illustrated in FIG. 3, each of the tongue-shaped parts 11b is formed in the center thereof with an opening pat 13. As illustrated in FIG. 5, the opening part 13 is set to be wider than the width of a bias tape 8 of the head covering 1. For this reason, when attached to the inside of the head covering 1, the hairstyle preserving liner 10 does not overlap any bias tape 8 except for the inner side of the sweatband 4 and area near the top button 7 of the head covering 1. Further, as illustrated in FIG. 3, the protruding members 12 are arranged concentrically around the center of the central part 11a of the liner main body 11 and radially at predetermined intervals, and therefore as illustrated in FIG, 2, the shape of the crown 2 can be kept smooth and beautiful. In doing so, design and fashionability as the head covering 1 can be prevented from being affected.

Also, the T-shaped fore end parts 11c of all tongue-shaped parts 11b other than the tongue-shaped part 11b fitted to the back area of the head of a human body is attached inserted inside the sweatband 4 around the inner circumferential edge of the lower end part of the crown 2 of the head covering 1, and therefore even when moving the head hard at the time of a sport such as baseball or golf, the hairstyle preserving liner 10 does not shift. In addition, even when taking off the head covering 1 in a place such as a room, since the liner main body 11 is kept inside the crown 2, the hairstyle preserving liner 10 does not come off. Further, since the hairstyle preserving liner 10 can be easily attached/detached to/from the inside of the head covering 1, when soiled, the hairstyle preserving liner 10 can be detached and washed, and therefore constantly kept clean.

Still further, the tongue-shaped part 11b fitted to the back area of the head is formed in a position that is unviewable from a size adjustment U-shaped slit 5 of the head covering 1 in a state where the hairstyle preserving liner is attached to the inside of the head covering 1, and consequently design and fashionability as the head covering 1 can be prevented from being affected.

Also, as illustrated in FIGS. 2 and 5, the liner main body 11 is formed in a position not to block venti holes 3 of the crown 2 of the head covering 1. In addition, the liner main body 11 has a reduced area in a state of being expanded on a plane as illustrated in FIG. 3. In doing so, the breathability of the head covering is not significantly deteriorated, and therefore the head can be prevented from getting sweaty to cause an uncomfortable feeling. As a result, even on a hot summer day or even when doing exercise or the like, the hairstyle preserving liner can be attached to the head covering 1.

Further, it is preferable that the color of the liner main body 11 is set to a clear and transparent color, or a color that is the same as or close to the color of hair. In doing so, even when the crown 2 of the head covering 1 is made of thin cloth or fabricated as a mesh, the liner main body 11 is not seen through or visually recognized, and consequently design and fashionability as the head covering 1 can be prevented from being affected.

As illustrated in FIG. 6, each of the protruding members 12 has a conical shape having a top on which multiple spherical parts 12a are present. In doing so, it is possible to disperse pressure placed on the scalp of the head of a human body, absorb the friction between the scalp and the protruding members 12 by elastic deformation, and prevent marks of the protruding members 12 from being left after taking off the head covering 1. Further, an appropriate stimulus is given to the scalp, and the resulting massage effect improves blood circulation, so that a hair growth effect and hair loss prevention can also be expected for the hair.

Also, the protruding members 12 become thicker toward the liner main body 11, and even when compressed between the head of a human body and the head covering 1, the protruding members 12 does not bend from their bases, so that the gap between the scalp and the head covering 1 can be ensured, i.e., the hair can be suppressed from being pressed and flattened.

Further, as illustrated in FIG. 4, the multiple protruding members 12 are formed such that the protruding members 12 formed in an area closest to the center of the central part 11a of the liner main body 11 are highest; toward the fore ends of the tongue-shaped parts 11b, the heights of the multiple protruding members 12 become lower at a gradient sequentially from the protruding members 12 formed in the area closest to the center of the central part 11a; and the radially outermost protruding members 12 are lowest. In doing so, when the hairstyle preserving liner is attached to the inside of the head covering 1 and the head covering 1 is put on, the gap between the inner surface of the crown 2 from the top button 7 to the sweatband 4 of the crown 2 of the head covering 1 and the scalp gradually decreases, and in a position of the sweatband 4, no gap is present. As a result, the same wearability as that obtained when putting on a typical head covering 1 can be ensured.

Also, it is preferable that the highest setting height of the protruding members 12 is appropriately changed between 20 mm and 10 mm depending on the amount of hair, and as a result of intensive examination, it turns out that approximately 15 mm is most versatile. In addition, it is most preferable that the height of the protruding members 12 closest to the fore end parts 11c of the tongue-shaped parts 11b is approximately 5 mm.

Further, selecting a material of the foldable and flexible hairstyle preserving liner 10 is an important factor for ensuring effective hairstyle preservation. When the material is too soft, the protruding members 12 are compressed and fall, thus being unable to suppress hair from being pressed and flattened. On the other hand, when the material is too hard, it becomes difficult to fold the hairstyle preserving liner, and a sense of touch at the time of putting on is deteriorated. For this reason, it is most preferable that the liner main body 11 and the multiple protruding members 12 are formed of polyethylene resin.

Still further, when the liner main body 11 and the multiple protruding members 12 are formed of the same material, the whole of the hairstyle preserving liner 10 can be manufactured by integrally molding such as injection molding, vacuum molding, transfer molding, or compression molding, and thereby manufacturing man-hour and cost can also be reduced. Also, since polyethylene resin that is relatively inexpensive is used, there is the advantage of being able to provide the hairstyle preserving liner to users at low cost. The material is not necessarily limited to polyethylene resin, and as long as the same flexibility as that of polyethylene resin can be ensured by some means such as inventing and contriving shapes and adjusting the hardness of a material, besides polyethylene resin, a material such as any of or a composite material of at least two of polypropylene, polyvinyl chloride, polyethylene terephthalate, polyamide, a styrene elastomer that is a thermoplastic elastomer, and silicone rubber, fluorine rubber, urethane rubber, ethylene-propylene rubber, and chloroprene rubber that are synthetic rubbers can also be used.
