Waste Receptacle Insert

A toilet insert system for a portable waste disposal system, or portable waste matter retaining apparatus, which includes a semi-spherical upper portion and an optional base potion, which may be cylindrical, rectangular of the like. The insert system displaces or covers waste in an even distribution in the basin in order to minimize build up and potential contact between the waste and subsequent occupants and may be permanent or disposable. In the portable capacity, the insert allows a user to carry the disposable apparatus with them and place it in the basin of a portable waste matter retaining apparatus upon desired use. Alternatively, the insert is already attached to the basin of the portable waste matter retaining apparatus upon assembly for use by all occupants.

CROSS REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATION

This application claims the benefit of and takes priority from U.S. Provisional Application Ser. No. 62/427,188 filed on Nov. 29, 2016, the contents of which are herein incorporated by reference.

FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present system and series of accompanying apparatuses relate to portable toilet systems, disposing of body wastes, and particularly a waste dispersion and distribution system for the portable waste matter retaining industry.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

The portable waste receptacle, or portable waste matter retaining apparatus, dates back to at very least, the World War II era. Portable waste receptacles were originally designed to be used on bomber aircrafts. In the inception, many portable waste receptacles consisted of a simple cube-shaped boxed that, when opened, had a hole in the bottom half and created a toilet-like seat. Now many portable waste receptacles are designed to be used as a portable, non-permanent bathroom for use in areas where plumbing is not made available. The modern construction consists of a large plastic shell and a privacy door. The toilet seat rests above a basin that contains a latch or lock which can be unfastened and the basin removed for cleaning.

The modern portable waste matter retaining apparatus is to the greater extent considered a “chemical toilet.” The basin below the toilet seat is filled with a mixture of chemicals. The combination of these chemicals may vary between manufacturers. The chemical mixture breaks down waste product in order to render them harmless and odorless. The basin must be regularly emptied and refilled with a fresh chemical mixture in order to function properly.

Currently, as waste is deposited into the basin, a pile is created in one spot and is not evenly distributed throughout. This requires the basin to be emptied more often. A potential risk is created for previously deposited waste to come into contact with subsequent occupants.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The instant apparatus and system, as illustrated herein, is clearly not anticipated, rendered obvious, or even present in any of the prior art mechanisms, either alone or in any combination thereof. The versatile system, method and series of apparatuses relating to portable toilet systems, disposing of body wastes, and particularly a waste dispersion and distribution system for the portable waste matter retaining apparatus industry are illustrated. Thus the several embodiments of the instant apparatus are illustrated herein.

It is therefore an objective of the instant system to create a novel waste disbursement system for the even distribution of human waste in the basin of a portable waste matter retaining apparatus.

It is also an objective of the instant system to create a novel waste disbursement system for the even distribution of human waste in the basin of a portable waste matter retaining apparatus for the purpose of less frequent emptying of the basin.

It is also an objective of the instant system to introduce a novel waste disbursement system for the even distribution of human waste in the basin of a portable waste matter retaining apparatus for the purpose of eliminating contact of prior waste with subsequent occupants of the portable waste matter retaining apparatus.

An additional objective of the instant system is to provide a novel waste disbursement system for the even distribution of human waste in the basin of a portable waste matter retaining apparatus by way of an apparatus that is mushroom-shaped with a bottom portion being cylinder-shaped and a top section, half globe-shaped, cascading downward like an umbrella.

Additionally, it is the object of this system to have a novel waste disbursement system for the even distribution of human waste in the basin of a portable waste matter retaining apparatus by way of an apparatus that is shaped like a mushroom which can either be pre-attached to the basin of the portable waste matter retaining apparatus during manufacturing and assembly of the portable waste matter retaining apparatus or subsequently attachable to a portable waste matter retaining apparatus that has been manufactured and assembled prior to the inclusion of the present apparatus.

It is also an additional object of the instant system to have a novel waste disbursement system for the even distribution of human waste in the basin of a portable waste matter retaining apparatus for the purpose of a more sanitary experience for each user.

An additional object of the instant system to have a novel waste disbursement system for the even distribution of human waste in the basin of a portable waste matter retaining apparatus for the purpose of avoiding build up directly below the toilet seat.

It is also an additional object of the instant system to have a novel waste disbursement system for the even distribution of human waste in the basin of a portable waste matter retaining apparatus that is inexpensive.

An additional object of the instant system to have a novel waste disbursement system for the even distribution of human waste in the basin of a portable waste matter retaining apparatus that is easy to use.

It is also an additional object of the instant system to have a novel waste disbursement system for the even distribution of human waste in the basin of a portable waste matter retaining apparatus for which one embodiment is portable and disposable.

Additionally, an object of the instant system to have a novel waste disbursement system for the even distribution of human waste in the basin of a portable waste matter retaining apparatus for which another embodiment is attached to the floor of the basin during assembly of the portable waste matter retaining apparatus.

However, it is to be understood that the same or equivalent functions may be accomplished by different embodiments and are also intended to be encompassed within the scope of the invention.

The toilet insert is designed to uniquely satisfy three (3) critical criteria as a waste displacement system, that includes being wholly portable in some embodiment and permanently affixed in other embodiments, easy to use, and simultaneously inexpensive. First, the toilet insert is designed to be portable in order to allow the unit to be transferred to a specific location as it relates to satisfying a unique need within that environment in a timely and cost efficient manner. Of great importance here, the toilet insert can be specific and customized into an environment; hence, the toilet insert is a practical and efficient means to save time and ultimately costs.

Second the toilet insert is designed to be easy to use in numerous embodiments, including a portable, disposable embodiment for consumers to carry with them, and/or a more durable embodiment that can be secured to the basin of the portable waste matter retaining apparatus itself.

Third, the toilet insert may be designed to be inexpensive an even be formed from one contiguous piece of material and cut to form two shapes function shapes in order to prevent back splash from a toilet, and particularly from a non-flushing toilet. The apparatus thus may be formed inexpensively from biodegradable materials, paper materials, polymeric material, composites of other materials and recycled materials. Thus, the upper portion may be composed of one material and the lower portion of another material depending on the desired usage or application

The ability to easily and rapidly place the instant system into a portable waste matter retaining apparatus affords the user to customize any portable waste matter retaining apparatus to meet and satisfy their specific needs and requirements expeditiously. In the instant system, the top may possess varying intended shapes, angles and sizes, relative to the desired size for transport and size of the portable waste matter retaining apparatus. All of the following top designs will be designed and constructed to satisfy change of direction layouts such as varying degree angles.
