Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention

The present invention is related to a film winding machine and an automatic cutting-off roll-replacing mechanism of the film winding machine. In particular, the present invention relates to a winding machine for wrapping a film material to a roll, and an automatic cutting-off roll-replacing mechanism for cutting off the film after the film is wrapped completely.

2. Description of Related Art

Conventional winding machines used to wind a film on a roll usually have two ways to cut a film. The first way is manual operation, in which an operating staff uses a knife to cut the film during winding process. Such a cutting way has shortcomings of dangerous operation and wasting manpower. In addition, the cutting method is not easy to be accurate and material is wasted. The second way is an automatic cutting method, in which an automatic knife is used to cooperate with a storage frame of the machine. Such a cutting way has shortcomings that the machine needs to stop running as a change of a new roll. After a film is wound on a new roll, the machine starts to operate. This way also consumes time and wastes manpower.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

It is one objective of this invention to provide a film winding machine and an automatic cutting-off roll-replacing mechanism, which can automatically cut off the film, and the film is able to be wound on a standby reel automatically after being cut off, so that an operating staff needs not to enter the machine to wind the film on a new reel, so as to avoid unexpected danger.

In order to achieve the above objectives, the instant disclosure is to provide a film winding machine, which includes a main body and an automatic cutting-off roll-replacing mechanism. The main body has a winding reel, and a standby reel opposite to the winding reel, and an intermediate redirecting reel between the winding reel and the standby reel. The automatic cutting-off roll-replacing mechanism has a supporting frame, a first swing unit, a first power source, a first pressing roll, a second swing unit, a second power source, a second pressing roll and a slicing unit. The supporting frame is fixed on the main body. The first swing unit has a first head end and a first distal end. The first head end is rotatably connected to the supporting frame along a first joint axle. The first power source is mounted on the supporting frame to drive the first swing unit to rotate along the first joint axle so as to approach the standby reel. The first pressing roll is disposed on the first swing unit to abut against one side of the standby reel cooperatively. The second swing unit has a second head end, and a second distal end. The first distal end of the first swing unit is rotatably connected to the second swing unit along a second joint axle. The second joint axle is disposed between the second head end and the second distal end. The second power source drives the second swing unit to rotate along the second joint axle so as to approach the standby reel. The second pressing roll is disposed on the second swing unit and between the second joint axle and the second distal end, so as to cooperatively abut against the other side of the standby reel. The slicing unit is disposed on the second swing unit and close to the second pressing roll.

In order to achieve the above objectives, the instant disclosure further provides an automatic cutting-off roll-replacing mechanism of film winding machine, which is disposed on a main body. The main body has a winding reel, a standby reel opposite to the winding reel, and an intermediate redirecting reel disposed between the winding reel and the first redirecting roll. The automatic cutting-off roll-replacing mechanism includes a supporting frame, a first swing unit, a first power source, a first pressing roll, a second swing unit, a second power source, a second pressing roll and a slicing unit. The second pressing roll is disposed on the second swing unit and close to the second distal end, so as to cooperatively abut against the other side of the standby reel. The slicing unit is disposed on the second swing unit and close to the second pressing roll.

Thus, the instant disclosure has advantages as follows. The film winding machine of the instant disclosure firstly uses the first swing unit and the first pressing roll to abut against one side of the standby reel, and uses the second swing unit and the second pressing roll to abut against the other side of the standby reel. Because the first pressing roll and the second pressing roll are oppositely disposed at two sides of the standby reel, the film of this instant disclosure is expanded and easy to be cut off. In addition, when the slicing unit cuts the film, the film which has been cut off falls on the standby reel and is continuously wound on the standby reel. Thus, the instant disclosure does not need an operating staff to enter the machine to wind the film F on a new standby reel 12, so as to avoid uncertain danger. Moreover, it can save operation time and manpower.

For further understanding of the instant disclosure, reference is made to the following detailed description illustrating the embodiments and examples of the instant disclosure. The description is for illustrative purpose only and is not intended to limit the scope of the claim.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

The aforementioned illustrations and following detailed descriptions are exemplary for the purpose of further explaining the scope of the instant disclosure. Other objectives and advantages related to the instant disclosure will be illustrated in the subsequent descriptions and appended drawings.

Please refer to FIG. 1 and FIG. 1A, which are a side view of a film winding machine according to the instant disclosure, and an enlarged side view film of the winding machine. This instant disclosure provides a film winding machine 1, which includes a main body 100 and an automatic cutting-off roll-replacing mechanism 200 mounted on the main body 100.

As shown in FIG. 1, the main body 100 has a winding reel 11, a standby reel 12 which is opposite to the winding reel 11, and an intermediate redirecting reel 21 disposed between the winding reel 11 and the standby reel 12. A film F passes through a supporting frame 30 of the automatic cutting-off roll-replacing mechanism 200, and then is turned around the standby reel 12 and the intermediate redirecting reel 21. Finally, the film F is wound around the winding reel 11.

In this embodiment, the main body 100 has a machine base 103, a first reel frame 101 and a second reel frame 102. The first reel frame 101 and the second reel frame 102 are arranged in a cross shape, and both are rotatably mounted on the machine base 103 along a center thereof. The winding reel 11 and the standby reel 12 are respectively disposed at two ends of the first reel frame 101. The intermediate redirecting reel 21 is disposed at one end of the second reel frame 102. The other end of the second reel frame 102 has an intermediate redirecting reel 22.

The automatic cutting-off roll-replacing mechanism 200 includes the supporting frame 30 fixed on the main body 100, a first swing unit 40, a first power source 50, a first pressing roll 42, a second swing unit 60, a second power source 70, a second pressing roll 62 and a slicing unit 67.

Please refer to FIG. 1A. In this embodiment, the supporting frame 30 is obliquely extended from a corner of a top side of the machine base 103. In detail, the supporting frame 30 is close to the standby reel 12, and obliquely extended upward and then extended in a horizontal direction. In a practical manner, the supporting frame 30 can be composed of a pair of metal boards, which are parallel and mounted on the machine base 103 of the main body 100. In this embodiment, the supporting frame 30 further has a first redirecting roll 31, a second redirecting roll 32, and a third redirecting roll 33, so that the film F can smoothly pass through the supporting frame 30. The first redirecting roll 31 and the second redirecting roll 32 are disposed at one side of the first joint axle 41. The third redirecting roll 33 is disposed at the other side of the first joint axle 41.

The first swing unit 40 has a first head end 401 and a first distal end 402. The first head end 401 is rotatably connected to the supporting frame 30 along a first joint axle 41. The first joint axle 41 is rotatably disposed on the supporting frame 30. The first head end 401 of the first swing unit 40 is fixedly connected to the first joint axle 41. The first joint axle 41 further has a rolling part 410 for turning the film F around. In this embodiment, the first swing unit 40 is substantially L-shaped in a side view, and has a first upper arm 40a, and a first lower arm 40b curvedly connected to the first upper arm 40a. The second swing unit 60 is substantially L-shaped, and has a second upper arm 60a, and a second lower arm 60b curvedly connected to the second upper arm 60a. According to a practical embodiment, the first swing unit 40 and the second swing unit 60 are respectively composed of a pair of L-shaped metal boards. The pair of metal boards of the first swing unit 40 is respectively disposed at an external side of the pair of metal boards of supporting frame 30.

The first power source 50 is mounted on the supporting frame 30, and is used to drive the first swing unit 40 to rotate along the first joint axle 41 so as to approach the standby reel 12. The first power source 50 can be a pneumatic cylinder, a hydraulic cylinder, or a motor . . . etc. In this embodiment, the first power source 50 is a pneumatic cylinder. The pneumatic cylinder has one end which is connected to the supporting frame 30, and the other end which is connected to the first swing unit 40. In detail, this embodiment provides a swinging arm 56, and the swinging arm 56 is located at an external side of the first swing unit 40. The swinging arm 56 has one end which is fixedly connected to the first joint axle 41, and the other end which is connected to one end of the first power source 50.

This embodiment has advantages as follows. The first power source 50 is arranged at an external side of the supporting frame 30, so that it does not occupy an inner space of the supporting frame 30, and avoids interrupting a path of the film F. In other words, the film F can be turned to pass through the supporting frame 30 by the first redirecting roll 31, the second redirecting roll 32, the rolling part 410 of the first joint axle 41 and third redirecting roll 33, and turned to an upper area of the standby reel 12. And then, the film F is turned around the standby reel 12. The film F passes through an upper part of the automatic cutting-off roll-replacing mechanism 200. The operation of the automatic cutting-off roll-replacing mechanism 200 will not interrupt the film F. However, the instant disclosure is not limited thereto. For example, the other end of the first power source 50 can be connected to the first swing unit 40.

Refer to FIG. 1A and FIG. 2. FIG. 1A shows that the first swing unit 40 of the present disclosure is selectively arranged in an expansion position relative to the supporting frame 30. FIG. 2 shows that the first swing unit 40 of the present disclosure is selectively arranged in an against position relative to the supporting frame 30. As shown in FIG. 2, when the cylinder of the first power source 50 is retracted, the swinging arm 56 is pulled downward. In other words, the swinging arm 56 is rotated clockwise, and the first joint axle 41 is also rotated, so that the first swing unit 40 is rotated clockwise.

As shown in FIG. 2, the first pressing roll 42 is disposed at a bottom end of the first upper arm 40a of the first swing unit 40, and is close to the first lower arm 40b. The first pressing roll 42 is disposed on the first swing unit 40, so that cooperatively abuts against one side of the standby reel 12. In addition, a distance between the first joint axle 41 and the standby reel 12 is substantially equal to a distance between the first joint axle 41 and the first pressing roll 42. As shown in FIG. 2, the first swing unit 40 is rotated along the first joint axle 41, and the first swing unit 40 moves to the against position. Meantime, the standby reel 12 is located at an inner side of a corner of the first swing unit 40 between the first upper arm 40a and the first lower arm 40b.

As shown in FIG. 2, in this embodiment, when the first swing unit 40 is located at the against position and the second swing unit 60 is not close to the standby reel 12, an obtuse angle is formed between the first upper arm 40a and the second upper arm 60a.

Refer to FIG. 1A. The second swing unit 60 has a second head end 601, and a second distal end 602. The first distal end 402 of the first swing unit 40 is rotataly connected to the second swing unit 60 along a second joint axle 61. The second joint axle 61 is located between the second head end 601 and the second distal end 602. In this embodiment, the second joint axle 61 is located on the second upper arm 60a and close to the second pressing roll 62.

Please refer to FIG. 2, FIG. 3, and FIG. 3A. FIG. 2 shows the second swing unit 60 being selectively located at an unfolded position relative to the first swing unit 40. FIG. 3 and FIG. 3A show that the second swing unit 60 is selectively located at a folded position relative to the first swing unit 40. The second power source 70 can drive the second swing unit 60 to rotate along the second joint axle 61 so as to approach the standby reel 12.

The second power source 70 can be a pneumatic cylinder, a hydraulic cylinder, or a motor . . . etc. In this embodiment, the second power source 70 has one end which is connected to the first swing unit 40, and the other end which is connected to the second head end 601 of the second swing unit 60.

The second pressing roll 62 is disposed on the second swing unit 60 and between the second joint axle 61 and the second distal end 602, so as to cooperatively abut against the other side of the standby reel 12.

As shown in FIG. 3 and FIG. 3A, the second swing unit 60 is pushed by the second power source 70 and rotated clockwise along the second joint axle 61 as shown in FIG. 3A. The second swing unit 60 of this embodiment is moved between the standby reel 12 and the intermediate redirecting reel 21, so that the film F is curved upward in an N shape. The film F therefore is tensioned and easy to be cut. As shown in FIG. 3A, when the second swing unit 60 is located at the folded position, an acute angle is formed between the first upper arm 40a and the second upper arm 60a. In addition, the first pressing roll 42 and the second pressing roll 62 are oppositely located at two sides of the standby reel 12, respectively. First, the first pressing roll 42 abuts against one side of the standby reel 12 and then the second swing unit 60 moves upward clockwise, so that the second pressing roll 62 opposite to the first pressing roll 42 is abutted against the other side of the standby reel 12.

The slicing unit 67 is mounted on the second swing unit 60 and close to the second pressing roll 62. When the second swing unit 60 is arranged on the folded position, the slicing unit 67 is disposed above the standby reel 12.

In this embodiment, the second lower arm 60b of the second swing unit 60 further has a first tension roll 63 adjacent to the slicing unit 67, a second tension roll 64, and a third tension roll 65. The second tension roll 64 and the third tension roll 65 are disposed at a bottom end of the slicing unit 67 and opposite to the second pressing roll 62.

The slicing unit 67 has a rail 671, a sliding seat 672 slidably mounted on the rail 671, and a knife 673 fixed on the sliding seat 672. In a practical way, the rail 671 can be a rodless cylinder, a step motor, a precise sliding bar . . . etc. The rail 671 is parallel to the standby reel 12. The above examples are illustrated to explain the slicing unit 67, and the instant disclosure is not limited thereto.

To sum up, this instant disclosure has advantages as follows. The embodiments of the film winding machine according to the instant disclosure, firstly uses the first swing unit 40 and the first pressing roll 42 to abut against one side of the standby reel 12, and then uses the second swing unit 60 and the second pressing roll 62 to abut against the other side of the standby reel 12. Because the first pressing roll 42 and the second pressing roll 62 are oppositely arranged at two sides of the standby reel 12, the film F is upward curved in an N shape, so that the film F is spread and is easy to be cut off.

In detail, the film F is curved to an upper area of the standby reel 12, and drives the standby reel 12 to roll. Further, the first tension roll 63, the second tension roll 64, and third tension roll 65 are used to spread the film F. When the knife 673 of the slicing unit 67 slides along the rail 671 and cuts the film F, the film F will fall on the standby reel 12 after being cut off and continuously is wound on the standby reel 12. Thus, the instant disclosure does not need an operating staff to enter the machine to wind the film F on a new standby reel 12, so as to avoid uncertain danger. Moreover, it can save operation time and manpower.

When the cutting process is finished, the winding reel 11 is continuously to wind the redundant material. The operating staff unloads the winding reel 11. And then, the first reel frame 101 and the second reel frame 102 (as shown in FIG. 1) are rotated at 180 degrees clockwise, so that the standby reel 12 is moved to the position of the winding reel 11 as shown in FIG. 1. After being unloaded, the film F on the winding reel 11 is moved to the position of the standby reel 12 as shown in FIG. 1. After that, the two functions are exchanged, and the above operations are repeated to wind another new film F.

The descriptions illustrated supra set forth simply the preferred embodiments of the instant disclosure; however, the characteristics of the instant disclosure are by no means restricted thereto. All changes, alterations, or modifications conveniently considered by those skilled in the art are deemed to be encompassed within the scope of the instant disclosure delineated by the following claims.
