Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to a shoe vamp and more particularly, to a shoe vamp having a beg-shaped main body.

2. Description of the Related Art

FIG. 1 shows a conventional shoe vamp 10 mainly comprising a base material 11, an intermediate layer 13 and an upper material 15. To dispose the intermediate layer 13 in between the base material 11 and the upper material 15, a task of laminating and adhering the aforesaid materials layer by layer has to be done in the manufacturing process. That is, an adhesive layer 12 must be applied between the base material 11 and the intermediate layer 13 to adhesively bond the base material 11 and the intermediate layer 13 together first, and then another adhesive layer 12 is applied between the intermediate layer 13 and the upper material 15 to adhesively bond the intermediate layer 13 and the upper material 15 together so as to complete the shoe vamp 10.

The aforesaid manufacturing process of the shoe vamp 10 needs to laminate and adhere the layered members layer by layer. This is complicated and may encounter a problem of inaccurate alignment during the process of adhesively bonding the layered members. As such, the aforesaid conventional manufacturing method, which needs at least five steps to complete the shoe vamp 10, is not desirable. Therefore, how to simplify the manufacturing process of the constructive members so as to enhance the manufacturing speed of the product or semi-finished product is an issue to be solved by the present invention.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF EMBODIMENTS

First of all, it is to be mentioned that same reference numerals used in the following embodiments and the appendix drawings designate same or similar component, elements, members, structures, systems, apparatuses, devices, methods or steps throughout the specification for the purpose of concise illustration of the present invention.

As shown in FIGS. 2-4, the present invention provides a shoe vamp 20, which is adapted to be used and associated with shoe soles having various sizes and composed of a beg-shaped main body 30, a filler member 40 and an adhesive layer 50.

The main body 30 is formed by enveloping a vamp fabric 31 and provided with a vamp portion 311, a lining portion 313, a beg opening 33, and an accommodation space 35 located between the vamp portion 311 and the lining portion 313. The beg opening 33 is communicated with the accommodation space 35. In this embodiment, the vamp fabric 31 is directly knitted by a knitting machine to integrally form the beg-shaped main body 30 having the vamp portion 311 and the lining portion 313. Further, the main body 30 has an inner wall 302, a notch portion 304 and a convex arc portion 306 corresponding to the notch portion 304. The beg opening 33 is located at the notch portion 304 of the main body 30.

The filler member 40 is filled into the accommodation space 35 of the main body 30 via the beg opening 33 from outside. In this embodiment, the filler member 40 may be formed by, but not limited to, one or more members made by ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA), styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR), neoprene, polyurethane (PU), leather, woven fabric, nonwoven fabric or water proof film. The filler members 40 is used to enhance comfort and protective effect to a user.

The adhesive layer 50 is applied on an outer surface 402 of the filler member 40 and adapted for being adhesively bonded with the inner wall 302 of the main body 30. The adhesive layer 50 can be completely, partially or dottedly applied on the outer surface 402 of the filler member 40. In this embodiment, the adhesive layer 50 is formed by a hot-melt adhesive, including but not limited to EVA-based hot-melt adhesive, polyamide-based hot-melt adhesive, TPR-based hot-melt pressure-sensitive adhesive, polyolefin-based hot-melt adhesive, or moisture-curing polyurethane reactive (PUR) hot-melt adhesive. The adhesive layer 50 is adhesively bonded with the inner wall 302 of the main body 30 by heat compression or a thermal reaction at a predetermined temperature of about 60□ to 300□.

FIG. 5 shows a shoe vamp 20 provided in accordance with a second embodiment of the present invention. The shoe vamp 20 of the second embodiment has a structure basically similar to that of the shoe vamp 20 of the first embodiment with the exception that the vamp fabric 31 is integrally formed with the beg-shaped main body 30 having the vamp portion 311, the lining portion 313, and the beg opening 33 at the convex arc portion 306 by a knitting machine directly. Under this circumstance, the filler member 40 is filled into the accommodation space 35 of the main body 30 via the beg opening 33 that is provided at the convex arc portion 306 from outside.

Compared to the conventional shoe vamp, the shoe vamps 20 provided in accordance to the first and second embodiments have the technical features and unexpected effects as follows.

As discussed above, the vamp fabric 31 is directly knitted out by a knitting machine to integrally form the beg-shaped main body 30 having the vamp portion 311 and the lining portion 313, and then the filler member 40, which is previously applied with the adhesive layer 50, is disposed inside the accommodation space 35 of the main body 30 via the beg opening 33 from outside, and finally a step of heat compression or a thermal reaction at a predetermined temperature of about 60□ to 300□ is carried out to enable the adhesive layer 50 that is made by hot-melt adhesive to be adhesively bonded with the inner wall 302 of the main body 30. As such, an effect that the main body 30 and the filler member 40 are firmly bonded with each other can be achieved. Further, the vamp fabric 31 is configured with a U-shaped profile and therefore, the filler member 40 has a U-shaped profile in compliance with that of the camp fabric 31 in this embodiment.

With the above-mentioned structural features, the laminating and attaching process that the method of making a conventional shoe vamp may adopt can be dramatically simplified or eliminated so as to enhance the product manufacturing speed, and the shoe vamp 20 of the present invention can be directly positioned and formed during its manufacturing process without the need of additional jigs or steps for accurately positioning or aligning layered members layer by layer, facilitating further processing procedures to be carried out by an operative worker. Further, the undesired problem of cutting unwanted material that the method of making the conventional shoe vamp may have can be improved. In light of forgoing, the expected effects and objectives of the present invention can be achieved.
