A reusable toilet paper roll core holder and methods of modifying existing toilet paper with insert adapters to modify the non-defined openings in the roll. The core holder device can have, but not limited to, a hollow cylindrical wooden tube roll with chamfered tips and flat portion. Further, the structure is configured to insert the hollow part on the uneven inner surfaces of the rolling holder for providing a smoother surface to the rolling holder as a sake of ease.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION (1) Field of the Invention

This invention relates to a toilet paper roll holder, in particular to an improved toilet paper roll dispenser and holder for residential or commercial use, that stores multiple rolls of toilet paper and allows for easy replacement of toilet paper rolls when a new roll is required.

(2) Background of the Invention

A variety of roll holders have been proposed for preventing paper rolls, such as toilet tissue rolls, from rotating freely and unwinding excessive amounts of paper or toilet tissue. The problem of excessive unwinding of toilet tissue has been frequently vexing and expensive, especially in public buildings, hotels, motels, and the like. Patrons of such establishments often carelessly tug unnecessarily forceful on the free end of a tissue paper roll, dispensing far more tissue than is necessary. The extra tissue frequently clutters up the bathroom facilities of public buildings, increasing janitorial costs and unnecessarily wasting tissue paper.

None of the devices proposed for overcoming this problem have yet found widespread acceptance because they are unsatisfactory for a variety of reasons. For example, U.S. Pat. No. 3,850,379 discloses a tissue holder brake mechanism, including a spring member which is inserted into one end of a tissue roll. The spring member has a U-shaped cross sectional configuration which exerts opposing forces against the tissue roll and a roll holder arm, producing a frictional braking action on the tissue roll. However, the device disclosed in U.S. Pat. No. 3,850,379 is unsuitable for use with most commercially available roll holders, especially roll holders of the recessed type, which often have only approximately an eighth to a quarter of an inch space between the end of the tissue roll and the roll holder arm. Further, the device of U.S. Pat. No. 3,850,379 tends to force the opposite end of the tissue roll against the opposite roll holder arm, thereby tending to fray the tissue.

In addition, heretofore various tube assemblies have been proposed for holding a roll of material, such as a toilet paper roll. Also, some of these assemblies have included a radially projecting flange or tab extending radially outwardly from one of the tubes to facilitate movement of one tube against another tube of the tube assembly. These prior structures require a special construction of one or both of the telescoping tubes and do not include a structure which can be mounted on or used with a conventional assembly for a toilet paper roll.

Various other toilet paper holder devices are known in the prior art. For example, U.S. Pat. No. 4,098,469 issued to McCarthy on Jul. 4, 1978 discloses a toilet tissue roll holder; U.S. Pat. No. 4,192,561 issued to Gunn on Mar. 11, 1980 discloses a storage container for roll tissue paper; U.S. Pat. No. 5,255,861 issued to Saul Lerner on 26 Oct. 1993 discloses a toilet paper holder assembly with auxiliary tissue roll; U.S. Appl. No. 20040159730 issued to Kasuga Seishikogyo on 19 Aug. 2004 discloses a toilet paper roll and method of manufacturing the paper roll; U.S. Pat. No. 5,570,938 issued to Butler on Nov. 5, 1996 discloses a toilet tissue roll holder; U.S. Pat. No. 4,314,679 issued to Paul, et al. on Feb. 9, 1982 discloses a roll holder and dispenser; U.S. Pat. No. 4,273,392 issued to Stinson on Jun. 16, 1981 discloses a tissue roll holder; U.S. Pat. No. 5,887,818 issued to Kelly discloses a device for storing multiple rolls of tissue and dispensing therefrom; U.S. Pat. No. 4,607,809 issued to Sineni on Aug. 26, 1986 discloses a toilet tissue holder and dispenser; U.S. Pat. No. 4,765,475 issued to Kaysserian on Aug. 23, 1988 discloses a holder and dispenser for multiple rolls of tissue.

While these devices fulfill their respective, particular objectives and requirements, but there is still a need for an improved type of toilet paper roller device and dispenser compatible with such a roll product, which can reduce the occurrences of damages caused to the dispenser through installation of an incompatible roll product in the dispenser.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

In the view of the foregoing disadvantages inherent in the known types of toilet tissue paper holder now present in the prior art, the present invention provides an improved reusable toilet paper roll core holder. As such, the general purpose of the present invention, which will be described subsequently in greater detail, is to provide a new and improved reusable toilet paper roll core holder which has all the advantages of the prior art and none of the disadvantages.

A principal object of the invention is to provide a reusable toilet paper roll core holder, which will accommodate any size roll of toilet paper.

A principal object of the invention is to provide a reusable toilet paper roll core holder for damaged inner rolls and more particularly, having been damaged in transit for enabling the user to unroll uniformly of the toilet paper on a plurality of roll holders without any wobbling back and forth. Further, the holder is configured to insert the hollow structure into a paper roll holder for assisting uniform unrolling of the toilet or a various type of tissue paper.

A further object of this invention is to provide a holder, of the type described, which will be quickly and easily removed from the support bracket.

Other objects of the invention are to provide an adjustable toilet paper holder, which is simple in design, inexpensive to manufacture, rugged in construction, easy to use and efficient in operation.

In this respect, before explaining at least one embodiment of the invention in detail, it is to be understood that the invention is not limited in its application to the details of construction and to the arrangements of the components set forth in the following description or illustrated in the drawings. The invention is capable of other embodiments and of being practiced and carried out in various ways. Also, it is to be understood that the phraseology and terminology employed herein are for the purpose of description and should not be regarded as limiting.

These together with other objects of the invention, along with the various features of novelty which characterize the invention, are pointed out with particularity in the disclosure. For a better understanding of the invention, its operating advantages and the specific objects attained by its uses, reference should be had to the accompanying drawings and descriptive matter in which there are illustrated preferred embodiments of the invention.

FIG. 1 is a perspective view of an improved reusable toilet paper roll core holder according to the present invention.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

In the following detailed description, reference is made to the accompanying drawings which form a part hereof, and in which is shown by way of illustration specific embodiments in which the invention may be practiced. These embodiments are described in sufficient detail to enable those skilled in the art to practice the invention, and it is to be understood that the embodiments may be combined, or that other embodiments may be utilized and that structural and logical changes may be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention. The following detailed description is, therefore, not to be taken in a limiting sense, and the scope of the present invention is defined by the appended claims and their equivalents.

On referring FIG. 1, illustrate a perspective exploded view of an improved reusable toilet paper roll core holder (1) separated from toilet paper roll having a center cardboard core tube, post/rod/telescoping cylinder and dispenser. The holder (1) can be a hollow cylindrical wooden tube roll, having chamfered tips. The holder (1) may be made of different suitable materials, preferably plastic, such as PVC, polyethylene or polyurethane, etc and wood such as cedar, coconut, etc. The insert can have a smooth outside surface with a chamfer and flat portion. The core holder (1) preferably useful for toilet paper rolls with an axial cardboard tube, where the central opening can be small and not clearly defined. The holder (1) can take the insert by the position of the tip end of the front of the hole. The chamfered tip edges drive into the hole until the insert is fully inserted against one side of the roll. In the installed position, the central hole of the roll can be generally made uniform in diameter and have inner walls that abut against the outer surface of the holder.

On referring FIG. 2, illustrate a front view of an insert of the improved reusable toilet paper roll core holder (1) of the present invention. The toilet paper roll core holder made of, but not limited to, material selected from 3-D printed with plastic, metal or other suitable material. Preferably, the length of the holder is, but not limited to, 4 inches with a chamfer while, the flat portion is, but not limited to, approx 3¾ inches provide ease in installation. The outer diameter of the holder is, but not limited to, approximately 1⅝ inches and the inner diameter is, but not limited to, approximately 1⅛ inches. In addition, the toilet paper roll core repairer is made by, but not limited to, any means for alternating including injection molding, lathe work and a combination thereof.

The present invention generally provides a hollow structure for organizing a plurality of rolling holders (3). Further, the dimension of the roller (1) is manufactured as per the requirement of the user and the size of tube for inserting the hollow structure. The term approximately used in the description for various dimensions, can depend on different type of paper roll. Also, the holder uses a press fit and will fit the roll on the roller and provide a rounded fit for easy access of the tissue.

As shown in FIG. 3, a front view of an insert of the improved reusable toilet paper roll core holder (1) with a rolled toilet paper (2) according to the present invention. The role core structure is having a smooth inner surface to unroll the tissue (2) or a toilet paper roll evenly. Further, the structure is configured to insert the hollow part on the uneven inner surfaces of the rolling holder (3) for providing a smoother surface to the rolling holder (3) as a sake of ease.

FIG. 4, is an installed view of the improved reusable toilet paper roll core holder on a rolling holder according to the present invention. The reusable toilet paper roll core holder is configured to place on the tube of the rolling holder (3) by inserting the hollow structure of the roll core holder. Further, the dimensions of the roll core structure (1) as per the requirement of the manufactured rolling holder.

Although the toilet paper roll core holder is described, the invention can be used for other rolls (2) such as but not limited to rolls of silk, wool, and other types of rolled sheet material, and the like.

It is to be understood that the above description is intended to be illustrative, and not restrictive. For example, the above-discussed embodiments may be used in combination with each other. Many other embodiments will be apparent to those of skill in the art upon reviewing the above description.

The benefits and advantages which may be provided by the present invention have been described above with regard to specific embodiments. These benefits and advantages, and any elements or limitations that may cause them to occur or to become more pronounced are not to be construed as critical, required, or essential features of any or all of the embodiments.

While the present invention has been described with reference to particular embodiments, it should be understood that the embodiments are illustrative and that the scope of the invention is not limited to these embodiments. Many variations, modifications, additions and improvements to the embodiments described above are possible. It is contemplated that these variations, modifications, additions and improvements fall within the scope of the invention.

Claims

1. A reusable toilet paper roll core holder comprising a hollow cylindrical wooden tube roll with chamfered tips and flat portion.

2. The core holder according to claim 1, wherein said hollow cylinder has a length of at least approximately 4 inches with a chamfer while, the flat portion is approx 3¾ inches.

3. The core holder according to claim 1, wherein the outer diameter of said holder can be approximately 1⅝ inches and the inner diameter can be approximately 1⅛ inches.

4. The core holder according to claim 1, wherein said holder could be 3-D printed.

5. A method of mounting a toilet paper roll with inner cardboard tubes, on paper dispensers, comprising the steps of:

providing a paper roll with a central opening having an inner cardboard tube, the roll being selected from a toilet paper roll;
providing a cylinder roll core holder with a chamfered edge uniformly about the tip end;
pushing and rotating the tip end of the base into the central opening of the roll with the enlarged base until the holder is substantially inside the central opening of the paper roll, and the enlarged base abuts against a side surface of the paper roll.

6. The method according to claim 5, wherein the holder made of materials selected from the group comprises a PVC, plastic, metal, rubber, a polyethylene, a polyurethane, a wood, a cedar, a coconut and a combination thereof.
