This application claims priority of Taiwanese Patent Application No. 106119652, filed on Jun. 13, 2017.
FIELDThe disclosure relates to a shoe, more particularly to a moisture-permeable waterproof shoe having an upper made of a jacquard woven fabric.
BACKGROUNDA conventional shoe includes a sole, an upper made of a jacquard woven fabric and fixed to the sole, and a lining disposed inside the upper. Although the conventional shoe can have good air permeability through porous structures of the materials of the upper and the lining, it is not waterproof and windproof, and cannot provide warmth.
SUMMARYTherefore, an object of the present disclosure is to provide a moisture-permeable waterproof shoe that is capable of overcoming at least one of the drawbacks of the prior art.
Accordingly, a moisture-permeable waterproof shoe of this disclosure includes an upper made of a jacquard woven fabric and having an inner surface, an inner sleeve unit having an inner sleeve body fixed to the inner surface of the upper, and a sole fixed to a bottom end of the upper and a bottom portion of the inner sleeve body. The inner sleeve body includes a three-dimensional sleeve portion, and a moisture-permeable waterproof membrane attached to an outer surface of the three-dimensional sleeve portion. The three-dimensional sleeve portion includes two layered structures connected to and cooperating with each other to define a foot space having a top open end and a bottom closed end for accommodating a user's foot. Each layered structure includes an outer fabric layer, a lining fabric layer, and an intermediate foam layer fixed between the outer fabric layer and the lining fabric layer. The inner sleeve unit further has a connecting layer connecting the moisture-permeable waterproof membrane to the inner surface of the upper.
Other features and advantages of the disclosure will become apparent in the following detailed description of the embodiments with reference to the accompanying drawings, of which:
Before the present disclosure is described in greater detail with reference to the accompanying embodiments, it should be noted herein that like elements are denoted by the same reference numerals throughout the disclosure.
Referring to
The upper 10 is made of a jacquard woven fabric, and has an inner surface 11, a top open end 12 and a bottom end 13 defining an opening 131.
The inner sleeve unit 20 has an inner sleeve body 21 and a connecting layer 22. The inner sleeve body 21 is filed to the inner surface 11 of the upper 10, and has a bottom portion 211 (see
The connecting layer 22 of this embodiment is an adhesive layer which fixedly adheres the moisture-permeable waterproof membrane 24 to the inner surface 11 of the upper 10.
In this embodiment, the moisture-permeable water-proof membrane 24 covers the outer fabric layers 232 of the layered structures 231, and is made of polyurethane (PU), but is not limited thereto. In other embodiment, the moisture-permeable waterproof membrane 24 may be made of a material selected from a group consisting of thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), polyethylene (PE) or polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). Further, a water pressure resistance of the moisture-permeable waterproof membrane 24 using the standard test method of the Japanese regulation JIS L1092B is not less than 3000 mm H2O, and a moisture permeability thereof using the standard test method of the Japanese regulation JIS L1099B1 is not less than 3000 g/m2/24 hr. Hence, the moisture-permeable water-proof membrane 24 has a waterproof effect and a moisture-permeable effect.
It is worth to mention herein that the inner sleeve body 21 may be formed by a dipping process or a spraying process. In the dipping process, the three-dimensional sleeve portion 23 is first sleeved on a shoe last 100, after which it is dipped into a moisture-permeable waterproof resin bath for a certain period of time, so that the moisture-permeable waterproof resin is attached to the outer fabric layers 232 of the layered structures 231 of the three-dimensional sleeve portion 23; then, the three-dimensional sleeve portion 23 is removed from the resin bath, and the shoe last 100 is activated to rotate about its axis, so that the attached moisture-permeable waterproof resin on the three-dimensional sleeve portion 23 is formed into the moisture-permeable waterproof membrane 24 having a uniform thickness; and finally, the three-dimensional sleeve portion 23 together with the shoe last 100 is placed in an oven (not shown), and is heated at a predetermined temperature for a predetermined time to dry and cure the moisture-permeable waterproof membrane 24. In the spraying process, a moisture-permeable waterproof resin solution is sprayed onto an outer surface of the outer fabric layers 232 of the layered structures 231 of the three-dimensional sleeve portion 23.
Referring to
The sole 30 has a top surface 31 fixedly connected to the bottom end 13 of the upper 10 and the bottom portion 211 of the inner sleeve body 21.
The adhesive layer 40 fixedly adheres the top surface 31 of the sole 30 to the bottom end 13 of the upper 10 and the bottom portion 211 of the inner sleeve body 21.
With reference to
The shoe last 100 is first inserted into the foot space 25 of the inner sleeve body 21, after which the outer surface of the moisture-permeable waterproof membrane 24 is sprayed (or coated) with adhesive. Next, the inner surface 11 of the upper 10 is sprayed (or coated) with adhesive, and the upper 10 is sleeved on the inner sleeve body 21. The assembly of the upper 10 and the inner sleeve body 21 is then heated and pressed to fixedly adhere the upper 10 to the inner sleeve body 21. After the assembly of the upper 10 and the inner sleeve body 21 is cooled, the sole 30 is fixedly adhered to the bottom end 13 of the upper 10 and the bottom portion 211 of the inner sleeve body 21 by adhesive. Finally, the shoe last 100 is removed from the assembly.
From the foregoing, the advantages of this disclosure can be summarized as follows:
1) Since the moisture-permeable waterproof membrane 24 of the inner sleeve body 21 completely covers the outer surface of the three-dimensional sleeve portion 23, in comparison with the prior art, the moisture-permeable waterproof membrane 24 can effectively prevent water from the outside to seep into the three-dimensional sleeve portion 23, thereby achieving a good waterproof effect and preventing the user's foot from getting wet. Further, the moisture-permeable waterproof membrane 24 can also prevent entry of wind into the three-dimensional sleeve portion 23, thereby achieving a windproof effect and enhancing a warm-keeping effect.
2) The three-dimensional shape of the three-dimensional sleeve portion 23 is supported by the intermediate foam layers 234 of the layered structures 231 by virtue of the stiffness thereof. Through this, apart from, supporting the upper 10 so that it will not collapse inward, insertion of the user's foot into the foot space 25 can also be facilitated, so that wear of the disclosure is easy and comfortable.
3) The moisture-permeable waterproof membrane 24 of the inner sleeve body 21 has a waterproof effect and a moisture-permeable effect. Hence, when the user wears the shoe of this disclosure, moisture inside the three-dimensional sleeve portion 23 can be dissipated from the shoe through the moisture-permeable waterproof membrane 24, so that the user's foot can be kept dry and comfortable.
Referring to
The upper 10 includes a vamp portion 14, and a heel region 15 (see
The reinforcing layer 60 is connected to the heel region 15 of the upper 10 and the sole heel region 32 of the sole 30.
The advantages of the first embodiment can be similarly achieved using the second embodiment.
Therefore, the object of the moisture-permeable waterproof shoe of this disclosure can indeed be achieved.
While the disclosure has been described in connection with what are considered the exemplary embodiments, it is understood that this disclosure is not limited to the disclosed embodiments but is intended to cover various arrangements included within the spirit and scope of the broadest interpretation so as to encompass all such modifications and equivalent arrangements.
