This application claims priority under 35 U.S.C. § 119 (e) to U.S. Provisional Patent Application Ser. No. 62/529,115, filed on Jul. 6, 2017, the entire contents of which are hereby incorporated by reference.
FIELD OF THE INVENTIONThe present invention relates to a pillow, and more particularly to pillow that can improve the user's health.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTIONAlthough conventional memory foam pillows and latex pillows in the current market are good at adjusting to human body shape and restroing back to the original shapes, they are unable to fundamentally solve the problem of ventilation or removing sweat produced by head and neck while sleep. Buckwheat hulls pillows in the current market may be able solve the problem of ventilation and removing sweat produced by head and neck, however, it is difficult for them to be adjusted to human body shape and restored to original shape. Therefore, there remains a need for a new and improved pillow to overcome the problems stated above.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTIONIt is an object of the present invention to provide a health pillow with a simple structure and to solve the problem of ventilation and sweat.
To achieve the abovementioned goal, the present invention provides a health pillow that is configured to be adjusted to human body shape. There is a groove on the surface of the pillow and a mat used to absorb sweat on the groove. The upper surface of the mat is aligned with the upper surface of the pillow.
In one embodiment, the pillow is made by, but not limited to, memory foam, hydrophilic cotton, latex, or latex foam. In another embodiment, the mat of the pillow may include a cotton pillowcase and one or more fillings, as following: buckwheat shell, tartarian buckwheat shell, tea leaves, wula sedge, semen cassia, lavender, camphorwood balls, and activated aluminum oxide.
In one embodiment, the upper surface of the pillow is flat and in another embodiment, the upper surface of the pillow is curved.
In a further embodiment, the upper surface of the pillow may include a first curved face on the front and a second curved face on the back, which are connected to each other, and both of the first curved face and the second curved face are arched in the middle.
In an alternative embodiment, the first curved face is positioned lower than the second curved face, and the cross section of the groove can be rectangular, round or oval.
In still an alternative embodiment, the shape of the base of the groove matches the upper surface of the pillow and pillow may have one or more grooves. In still a further embodiment, the grooves are uniformly distributed on the upper surface of the pillow.
The present invention is advantageous that the pillow in the present invention has grooves on the surface of the pillow and the mats are disposed in the grooves to absorb sweat, which enables the pillow to be simple in structure and also solves the problem of traditional buckwheat shell pillow which cannot be adjusted to human body shape and the problem of traditional memory foam and latex pillow that has poor ventilation. Therefore, the pillow in the present invention can not only be adjusted to human body shape, but also is natural and good for ventilation and removing sweat as buckwheat shell pillows.
