Foldable Bed Frame and Adjustable Mattress

Abstract

An adjustable mattress comprises a foldable bed frame, a decorative soft package covering the bed frame, and a plurality of independent barrel springs inside the bed frame. The plurality of independent barrel springs are arranged in a matrix. The bed frame and the independent barrel springs are covered with a cover cloth and an upper sealing mattress. The bed frame includes two transverse frames and two vertical frames, which are connected via bendable joints. The two transverse frames comprise two PVC sections connected by folding joints, and the two vertical frames comprises a plurality of PVC sections connected by bidirectional bending joints.

Description

TECHNICAL FIELD

The present invention relates to a bed frame and a flexible mattress, especially relates to a foldable bed frame and adjustable mattress.

BACKGROUND TECHNOLOGY

The mattress is to ensure that consumers get healthy and comfortable sleep and is used between the human body and the bed. There are kinds of materials of the mattress which including spring mattresses, palm mattresses, latex mattresses, water mattresses, gas mattresses, magnetic mattresses, etc.; spring mattresses account for a larger proportion in these mattresses.

With the progress of science and technology, living standards continue to improve, people are increasingly demanding the bed. Home electric bed is on this birth. However, with the popularity of the electric beds, there are still all kinds of sponge mattresses on the most electrical beds. While the spring mattress which is most used and comfortable in home use can not be used in the electrical bed.

The main form of the existing spring mattress is a whole bed size which can not be removable or folded. It is a practice that the spring mattress is used, produced and packaged as a whole. The use of the production technology has also been quite advanced. It can be seen that the use of the spring mattress on the electrical bed is limited by the existing integrated design of the spring.

CONTENTS OF THE INVENTION

The technical problem solved by the present invention is to provide Foldable bed frame and adjustable mattress which can be folded and bent at a large angle so that the spring mattresses can be lifted acted together with the electric bed, and the mattress is easy to install and meet a variety of personalized and characterized customization needs.

The technical solution adopted by the present invention for solving the above-mentioned technical problems is to provide a foldable bed frame, comprising two transverse frames and two vertical frames, the two transverse frames are connected to the two vertical frames by bendable joints, the two transverse frames comprise two sections of PVC straight sections which are connected by folding joints; the two vertical frames comprise a plurality of PVC straight sections which are connected by bidirectional bending joints.

The bidirectional bending joints comprise a second sub-joint, a plurality of first sub-joints and a third sub-joint, one side of the first sub-joints protrude outside forming first mounting lugholes, another side of the first sub-joints sink inside forming second mounting lugholes, the first mounting lugholes and the second mounting lugholes which are adjacent to each other form pivots when they are fixed by locking screws; one side of the second sub-joint is connected with the sub-joints by the locking screws, the other side of the second sub-joint is clipped to the adjacent PVC straight section, one side of the third sub-joint is connected with the adjacent first sub-joints by the locking screws, and the other side of the third sub-joint is clipped to the adjacent PVC straight section.

The PVC straight section comprises head PVC, back PVC, thigh PVC and shank PVC, the head PVC is connected with the back PVC by a neck joint, the back PVC is connected with the thigh PVC by buttock PVC, the thigh PVC is connected with the thigh PVC by a knee joint.

The neck joint comprises 3 first sub-joints, the buttock joint comprises 20 first sub-joints, the knee joint comprises 6 first sub-joints, the bendable angle of each of the first sub-joints is 6 degrees, the hole distance between a first installing lughole and a second installing lughole of the first sub-joints is 22 mm.

The two transverse frames and two vertical frames are connected with each other by a four-corner joint.

The four-corner joint is composed of a corner hinge and two T-shape hinges; or the four-corner joint is composed of a corner hinge and four T-shape hinges.

The bed frame further comprises a bed frame, a decorative soft package is configured out of the bed frame, wherein the bed frame is the bed frame according to any one of claims 1 to 6, a plurality of depending barrel springs are configured inside the bed frame, the plurality of depending barrel springs are configured in a matrix, a cover cloth and a upper sealing mattress are configured outside the bed frame and the depending barrel springs.

Upper and lower striped barbs are configured on the decorative soft package, and the upper and lower striped barbs are clipped in the groove of the bed frame, a shielding cloth with a magic post is configured inside the decorative soft package.

The upper sealing mattress is a latex mattress cover, a zipper connecting fastening cloth is configured on the decorative soft package, and the zipper configured on side of the decorative soft package is abutting jointed to the zipper configured on the upper sealing mattress.

Compared with the prior art, the present invention has the following advantageous effects: the foldable bed frame provided in the present invention, the plurality of the PVC sections of the vertical frames can be connected by the bidirectional bending joints, the two PVC sections of the traverse frames can be connected by the folding joints which can be folded can bent with a large angle; the adjustable mattress with depending barrel springs can be lifted acted together with the electric bed, and the mattress is easy to install and meet a variety of personalized and characterized customization needs.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION

The invention will now be further described below with reference to the accompanying drawings and examples.

FIG. 1 is a schematic view of the foldable bed frame of the present invention.

Please refer to FIG. 1, the present invention provides a foldable bed frame, comprising two traverse sections and two vertical sections, the two traverse sections and the two vertical sections are connected by a bendable joint, wherein the two traverse sections comprise two PVC sections (Polyvinyl chloride), the two PVC sections of the two traverse sections are connected by a folding joint; the two vertical sections comprise a plurality of PVC sections, the PVC sections of the vertical sections are connected by a bi-direction bendable joint. The PVC sections of the vertical sections comprise a head PVC 1, a back PVC 2, a thigh PVC 3 and a shank PVC 4, the head PVC 1 and the back PVC 2 are connected by a neck joint 6, the back PVC 2 and the shank PVC 4 are connected by a buttock joint 7, the thigh PVC 3 and the shank PVC 4 are connected by a knee joint 8.

The foldable bed frame provided in the present invention, the neck joint 6, the buttock joint 7 and the knee joint 8 are bi-direction bendable joint, FIG. 2 shown the folded bed frame. The two traverse sections PVC 5 are connected by a folding joint 10, a four-corner joint 9 is used in the connection of the two traverse sections and the two vertical sections, which is folded as shown in FIG. 3.

Please continue refer to FIG. 4, The bi-direction bendable joints of the present invention are made up of the same type of parts: there are five parts; a first sub-joint 11, a second sub-joint 12, a third sub-joint 13, a locking male screw 14 and a locking female screw 15. The difference between the bi-direction bendable joints is the number of the first sub-joint 11, the middle sections are all the first sub-joint 11 part, the angle will decrease 6 degrees when every two joint parts are folded closely (regardless of the upper part or the lower part).

The number of the first sub-joint 11 of the neck joint 6 is 3, the head part can be folded of the angle of 6*4=24 degrees.

The number of the first sub-joint 11 of the buttock joint 7 is 20, the head part can be folded of the angle of 6*21=126 degrees.

The number of the first sub-joint 11 of the knee joint 8 is 6, the head part can be folded of the angle of 6*7=42 degrees.

The folding angle varies from person to person, the folding angle can be adjusted according to the need to increase or decrease the number of the first sub-joints 11. The first sub-joint 11, the second sub-joint 12 and the third sub-joint 13 are connected by locking screws, which are used as a pivot after locking. The other end of the second sub-joint 12 and the third sub-joint 13 are clipped in the adjacent PVC sections, FIG. 5 is a schematic of the PVC sections, FIG. 6 is a schematic of the first sub-joint 11, FIG. 7 is a schematic of the second sub-joint 12, FIG. 8 is a schematic of the third sub-joint 13.

As shown in FIG. 9, the four-corner joint 9 in the connection of the traverse sections and the vertical sections in the present invention are rotatable 180 degrees, and the four-corner joint 9 can be made up of a corner hinge and two T-shaped hinges to form a pair of active hinges. Or the four-corner joint 9 can be made up of a I-shaped hinge and four T-shaped hinges to form a pair of active hinges, each side are rotatable 180 degrees.

The folding bendable bed frame in the present invention is made of recyclable and environmental PVC material, the main parts of the bed frame comprises long and short PVC sections and bi-direction bendable joints. The working principle is: the entire plastic bed frame is placed on the electrical bed board, the bed frame is lifting when the backrest is pushed by the motor of the electrical bed. The number of the buttock joints is 20, each joint can be bend of 6 degrees. As shown in FIG. 2 usually the back is lift of 70 degrees, 12 joints are needed, the thigh is lift of about 30 degrees, 20 joints are needed, 20 joints are enough, and 3 joints in the buttock are laid flat. As shown in FIG. 2 the buttock joints are bent inside, and the knee joints are bent outside. The first sub-joint of the common parts are using bi-directional bending design which is interchangeable, each joint is the same part which is convenient to replace, and the joints can be connected to each other without distinguishing the upper side and the lower side so that the installation error can be avoided.

The adjustable mattress provided in the present invention, the whole mattress is made up of: a folding bendable bed frame 21, a decorative soft out package 22, independent barrel springs 23, a cover cloth 24 and a upper sealing mattress 25. The folding bendable bed frame 21 is contained in the decorative soft out package 22, the upper and lower barbs 26 of the decorative soft out package 22 are clipped in the grooves of the bed frame 21 so as to fix the position of the out package and the bed frame, and the situation as rolling, sliding or dislocation will not be occurred. In addition, the shielding cloth 30 with velcros 27 inside the decorative soft out package 22 can shield the structure of the bed frame, so that the complex structure of the bed frame will not be seen and the aesthetics will not be affected.

Since the decorative soft out package 22 is made of fabric and filler materials having a certain degree of ductility, so the decorative soft out package 22 can be folding packed when packing the folding bendable bed frame. The decorative soft out package 22 and the bed frame can be put one the electrical bed and spread out around as a whole, and then the row of the barrel springs 23 are placed in, the cover cloth 24 is covered, the cover cloth is fixed by connecting the zipper 28 inside the out package and the cover cloth 24, and finally lay the upper sealing mattress 25 (a latex mattress sleeve of 5 cm), the outside of the out package is connected with the zipper 28 of the upper sealing mattress 25 to complete the combination of the whole mattress.

When the electric bed backrest is raised, the mattress provided by the present invention is bent, and the independent barrel springs are also bent, the distance from the upper side will now be drawn and the distance from the lower side will be pull away. The whole process of the action is slow and step by step, people lying on the mattress can not feel the state of the action of springs.

The foldable bed frame and the out package of the present invention have been assembled in the factory, the user simply opens the package, opens the wrapped bed frame, place in the springs, pulls the cover cloth, pulls the upper sealing mattress to realize the function of flexible spring mattress. The possibility of DIY personalized configuration is greatly improved, all the parts can be changed, removed, recycled, and the utilization of resources is highly improved. The problems such as the damage of the springs, lacking of elasticity for long use, the cost is saved for the customer and the resource and costs are also saved for the entire society.

The folding angle of the present invention (6 degrees) and the distance of the mounting holes (22 mm) are repeated after the demonstration test, the general spring mattress is 20 cm thick, relative to the angle of 6 degrees and the two mounting holes 22 mm, the other design size can also achieve to the curvature of 300 mm diameter, the hole distance becomes longer and the angle becomes larger can also achieve to the curvature of 300 mm diameter, such as the hole distance of 44 mm and the folding angle of 12 degrees, but the aesthetic will be destroyed and the folding mark will be obvious because the distance of the sections become long and the arc of the bed frame is excessive round. There will be not closed gap between the flat joints and out package will be easy to clip into the gap if the hole distance and the angel becomes smaller.

A latex bed sleeve of 5 cm is added in the present invention, so the total thickness of the mattress can be 25 cm, in order to fully ensure the comfort of people with different weights. The height of the folding bendable bed frame is 133 mm and the height of the thick vertical cotton 19 of the out package of the bed frame is 50 mm which is about same with the height of the springs. The diameter of the curvature of the bending bed frame is 300 mm, the curvature is about 250 mm minus the thickness of 50 mm of the vertical cotton, and generally the abdominal thickness of people is about 250 mm, so the curvature is better fit the human body's physiological curve. As shown in FIG. 6, the design dimensions of first sub-joint 11 the parts are: 6.7-3.3-3.3=0.1 mm, and there will no gap after the bending of the bed frame. 15.3-13.3=2 mm, the occlusion edge is hidden in the cavity of the other first sub-joint 11, the wall thickness of the injection is 2 mm, just hit together which also increase the mutual contact and mutual lever when bending to ensure the strength of joints. It is sure that the radius and space can maintain the relative comfort of the best contact after bending by optimize the above mentioned parameters.

The design of the full joint of the present invention can be well fitted to the human spine because its principle and function are the same as those of the vertebral function. The placement of the independent barrel springs can effectively improve the quality of sleep, different elasticity of the independent barrel springs can be designed according to the weight of the crowd of different people. The folding bendable bed frame design can ensure that the edge of the spring mattress will not collapse, and the bending of the mattress is ensured. The folding design can reduce the size of the package and facilitate the transport achieving the possibility of DIY custom. In addition, the adjustable mattress is easy to separate, install and folding package which overturns the traditional mattress design. It is a revolutionary mattress which will improve the entire sleep system, and it will bring immeasurable economic benefits.

Claims

1. A foldable bed frame, comprising two transverse frames and two vertical frames, said two transverse frames are connected to said two vertical frames by bendable joints, wherein said two transverse frames comprise two sections of PVC straight sections which are connected by folding joints; said two vertical frames comprise a plurality of PVC straight sections which are connected by bidirectional bending joints.

The foldable bed frame according to claim 1, wherein said bidirectional bending joints comprise a second sub-joint, a plurality of first sub-joints and a third sub-joint, one side of the first sub-joints protrude outside forming first mounting lugholes, another side of the first sub-joints sink inside forming second mounting lugholes, the first mounting lugholes and the second mounting lugholes which are adjacent to each other form pivots when they are fixed by locking screws; one side of the second sub-joint is connected with the sub-joints by the locking screws, the other side of the second sub-joint is clipped to the adjacent PVC straight section, one side of the third sub-joint is connected with the adjacent first sub-joints by the locking screws, and the other side of the third sub joint is clipped to the adjacent PVC straight section.

The foldable bed frame according to claim 2, wherein said PVC straight section comprises head PVC, back PVC, thigh PVC and shank PVC, said head PVC is connected with the back PVC by a neck joint, the back PVC is connected with the thigh PVC by buttock PVC, the thigh PVC is connected with the thigh PVC by a knee joint.

The foldable bed frame according to claim 3, wherein said neck joint comprises 3 first sub-joints, the buttock joint comprises 20 first sub-joints, said knee joint comprises 6 first sub-joints, the bendable angle of each of said first sub joints is 6 degrees, the hole distance between a first installing lughole and a second installing lughole of the first sub-joints is 22 mm.

5. The foldable bed frame according to claim 1, wherein said two transverse frames and two vertical frames are connected with each other by a four-corner joint.

6. The foldable bed frame according to claim 5, wherein said four-corner joint is composed of a corner hinge and two T-shape hinges; or the four-corner joint is composed of a corner hinge and four T-shape hinges.

An adjustable mattress, comprising a bed frame, a decorative soft package is configured out of the bed frame, said the bed frame is the bed frame according to any one of claim 1, a plurality of depending barrel springs are configured inside the bed frame, the plurality of depending barrel springs are configured in a matrix, a cover cloth and a upper sealing mattress are configured outside the bed frame and the depending barrel springs.

The adjustable mattress according to claim 7, wherein upper and lower striped barbs are configured on said decorative soft package, and said upper and lower striped barbs are clipped in the groove of the bed frame, a shielding cloth with a magic post is configured inside the decorative soft package.

The adjustable mattress according to claim 8, wherein said upper sealing mattress is a latex mattress cover, a zipper connecting fastening cloth is configured on the decorative soft package, and the zipper configured on side of the decorative soft package is abutting jointed to the zipper configured on the upper sealing mattress.
