DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

Referring to FIGS. 1 to 7, the anti-theft display rack of the present invention comprises a display rack 20 which is an elongate rack and has multiple positioning members 21. Each of the positioning members 21 includes a neck 211 extending from the display rack 20, and a disk 212 is connected to the distal end of the neck 211. The disk 212 is a round and flat disk which is shaped and sized such that the socket 10 is mounted to the disk 212 and positioned.

The display rack 20 has a head 22 formed on the first end thereof and a tail 23 is on the second end thereof. The head 22 has a first engaging portion 221 on the first end thereof, and a hanging hole 222 is defined through the second end of the head 22.

An elongate cover 30 has a flange 31 extending therefrom so as to define a room 32 surrounded by the flange 31. The flange 31 shaped to define multiple partitions that are fit to the sockets 10 of different sizes. The cover 30 has a pivotal portion 33 on the first end thereof, and the pivotal portion 33 is pivotably connected to the tail 23. The cover 30 has a second engaging portion 34 on the second end thereof. The second engaging portion 34 is detachably connected to the first engaging portion 221 so as to be mounted to the sockets 10 by the flange 31 in the room 32.

Specifically, the tail 23 has a plate 231 extending therefrom. Two pivots 232 respectively extend from two sides of the plate 231. The pivotal portion 33 includes a slot 331 which is defined between two extensions, and each extension includes a through hole 332. The plate 231 is located in the slot 331 and the two pivots 232 are pivotably engaged with the through holes 332 so that the cover 30 is pivoted about the pivotal portion 33. In this embodiment, the first engaging portion 221 is a protrusion, and the second engaging portion 34 is a recess with which the first engaging portion 221 is engaged.

Preferably, a resilient piece 35 is connected to the second end of the cover 30 and the second engaging portion 34 is defined in the resilient piece 35.

Furthermore, the display rack 20 has a passage 24 defined therethrough and a fastening strip 40 extends through the passage 24 and wraps around the cover 30 and the display rack 20. Specifically, the cover 30 includes a notch 36 defined in the top thereof when the cover 30 is adapted to be mounted to the sockets 10. The fastening strip 40 extends through the notch 36.

The partitions of the room 32 include different sizes and the disks 212 are also sized to be fit the sockets 10 of different sizes. After the sockets 10 are mounted to the disks 212, the cover 30 is pivoted about the pivotal portion 33 to be mounted to the sockets 10, while the second engaging portion 34 is engaged with the first engaging portion 221 as shown in FIGS. 1, 2, and 5. Therefore, the sockets 10 are well positioned to the display rack 20. The display rack 20 is hanged on a protrusion on a wall or a display board (both not shown) by the hanging hole 222, such that the sockets 10 are displayed and seen clearly.

The fastening strip 40 extends through the passage 24 of the display rack 20 and wraps around the cover 30 via the notch 36, and combines the cover 30 to the display rack 20. By this way, the cover 30 cannot be opened and the display rack 20 has safety feature.

While we have shown and described the embodiment in accordance with the present invention, it should be clear to those skilled in the art that further embodiments may be made without departing from the scope of the present invention.
