Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to a diving device, and more particularly to a diving snorkel and an upper exhaust head thereof.

2. Description of the Prior Art

A conventional snorkel having a water discharge structure comprises a main body, a mouthpiece, a threaded pipe, a ring, and a pipe. When the diver bites the mouthpiece and dives into the water, the air inlet is above the water so that the diver can obtain the fresh air from the breathing tube without interrupting water activities because the diver needs to come out of the water for air. When the diver dives in the rough sea water or dives deeper, the water may flow into the snorkel form the air inlet. As a result, the diver may have an accident. This is dangerous for diving.

The sealing structure of the conventional upper exhaust head uses a cover to cover the air hole. The cover ascends under the action of buoyancy to cover the air hole so as to prevent the water from entering the air passage. However, the sealing effect is not good. When in use, a small amount of water will flow into the air passage form the air hole.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

In view of the shortcomings of the prior art, the primary object of the present invention is to provide a diving snorkel and an upper exhaust head thereof for effectively solving the problem that the layout of the upper exhaust head is not reasonable to result in poor sealing.

According to one aspect of the present invention, an upper exhaust head of a diving snorkel is provided. The upper exhaust head comprises a main body and a float. The main body has a recess and an air passage. An upper end of the recess is provided with an air hole communicating with the air passage. A periphery of the air hole is provided with a sealing ring. The recess is provided with a pivot seat thereon. The float is rotatably disposed on the recess. The float has a pivot portion. The pivot portion is pivotally connected to the pivot seat. When the float is under water, the float is turned upwards to cover the air hole by buoyancy, the float is partially fitted into the air hole, and the sealing ring leans against an outer surface of the float to form a sealing structure. When the float is exposed to a water surface, the float is turned downwards by gravity to open the air hole.

Preferably, the periphery of the air hole radially extends to form an engaging ring. The sealing ring has an engaging groove. The engaging ring is engaged in the engaging groove.

Preferably, the float extends outward to form the pivot portion. Two sides of the pivot portion extend outward to form pivot shafts, respectively. The pivot seat is provided with two pivot holes corresponding to the pivot shafts. The pivot shafts are pivoted to the corresponding pivot holes, respectively. Preferably, the upper exhaust head of the diving snorkel further includes a protective side cover disposed on the main body. The side cover is configured to cover the float and the air hole.

Preferably, the side cover is provided with a plurality of engaging holes. The main body is provided with a plurality of engaging posts corresponding to the engaging holes. The engaging posts are engaged with the corresponding engaging holes, respectively.

Preferably, the side cover is formed with a plurality of through holes for ventilation.

Preferably, the float is a hollow sphere.

Preferably, the float is composed of two hemispheres.

According to another aspect of the present invention, a diving snorkel is provided. The diving snorkel comprises an air tube, a mouthpiece, and the aforesaid upper exhaust head. The mouthpiece is connected to a lower end of the air tube. The upper exhaust head is connected to an upper end of the air tube. The air tube, the mouthpiece and the upper exhaust head have a passageway therein to communicate with each other.

Compared with the prior art, the present invention has obvious advantages and beneficial effects. Specifically, it can be seen from the above technical solution.

The recess is provided with the pivot seat. The pivot seat is pivotally connected with the float. The periphery of the air hole is provided with the sealing ring. When the float is under water, the float is turned upwards by buoyancy to cover the air hole. The float is partially fitted into the air hole. The sealing ring leans against the outer surface of the float to form the sealing structure to prevent the water from entering the air hole, so that the airtight effect is better. When the float is exposed to the water surface, the float is turned downwards by gravity to open the air hole, so that the diver can breathe normally.

The upper exhaust head 30 includes a main body 31 and a float 32. The main body 31 has a recess 301 and an air passage 302. An upper end of the recess 301 is provided with an air hole 303 communicating with the air passage 302. The periphery of the air hole 303 is provided with a sealing ring 34. Specifically, the periphery of the air hole 303 radially extends to form an engaging ring 35. The sealing ring 34 has an engaging groove. The engaging ring 35 is engaged in the engaging groove. The recess 301 is provided with a pivot seat 311 thereon.

The float 32 is rotatably disposed on the recess 301. The float 32 has a pivot portion 321. The pivot portion 321 is pivotally connected to the pivot seat 311. Specifically, two sides of the pivot portion 321 extend outward to form pivot shafts 322, respectively. The pivot seat 311 is provided with two pivot holes 312 corresponding to the pivot shafts 322. The pivot shafts 322 are pivoted to the corresponding pivot holes 312, so that the float 32 is rotatably disposed on the recess 301. When the diver is diving, the float 32 is under water. The float 32 is turned upwards to cover the air hole 303 by buoyancy. The float 32 is partially fitted into the air hole 303. The sealing ring 34 leans against an outer surface of the float 32 to form a sealing structure to prevent the water from entering the air hole 303, so that the airtight effect is better. When the float 32 is exposed to the water surface, the float 32 is turned downwards by gravity to open the air hole 303, so that the diver can breathe normally. In the present embodiment, the float 32 is a hollow sphere and is composed of two hemispheres.
