Toy blocks can be easily separated. A toy block structure is formed by fitting toy blocks including concave and convex portions, and a gap wherein a nail of a hand can enter is formed at a border portion between one adjacent toy block and another adjacent toy block of the toy block structure.

Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION AND RELATED ART STATEMENT

The present invention relates to a toy block structure, and especially, relates to the toy block structure which can be easily separated to a toy block.

Conventionally, the toy block structure is formed by fitting toy blocks having concave and convex portions, for example, Lego blocks (registered trademark).

Recently, in order to form a minute toy block structure, a size of the toy block itself is miniaturized.

For example, as shown in FIG. 28(a) and FIG. 28(b), a size of width of a toy block 101 forming a toy block structure 100 is 8 mm, and a size of length is 31 mm, and a size of height is approximately 5 mm.

However, in the aforementioned toy block structure 100 shown in FIG. 28(a), a plurality of toy blocks 101 is connected to form the toy block structure 100, and after the formation, in a case wherein the toy block structure 100 is separated to a single toy block 101, since the toy block 101 is small, it is difficult to grip the toy block 101 by hand with force so as to have a problem that the toy block structure 100 cannot be easily separated.

The present invention is made in view of the aforementioned problem, and an object of the present invention is to provide a toy block structure.

Further objects and advantages of the invention will be apparent from the following description of the invention.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

According to a toy block structure with respect to a first aspect, a gap wherein a nail of a hand can enter is formed at a border portion between one adjacent toy block and the other adjacent toy block of the toy block structure, so that one adjacent toy block and the other adjacent toy block of the toy block structure can be easily separated by entering the nail of the hand into the gap.

Also, according to the toy block structure with respect to a second aspect, in addition to an effect of the invention according to the aforementioned first aspect, a corner portion of a top face of the other adjacent toy block is formed in a taper face or a round face, or a face which is lower than the top face, and the gap wherein the nail of the hand can enter is formed at the border portion between one adjacent toy block and the other adjacent toy block of the toy block structure. Namely, since the gap is formed at the corner portion, the gap does not largely appear in design, and the toy block structure can be easily separated by entering the nail of the hand into the gap.

Also, according to the toy block structure with respect to a third aspect, in addition to the effect of the invention according to the aforementioned first aspect, a corner portion of a bottom face of one adjacent toy block is formed in a taper face or a round face, or a face which is higher than the bottom face, and the gap wherein the nail of the hand can enter is formed at the border portion between one adjacent toy block and the other adjacent toy block of the toy block structure. Namely, since the gap is formed at the corner portion, the gap does not largely appear in design, and the toy block structure can be easily separated by entering the nail of the hand into the gap.

Also, according to the toy block structure with respect to a fourth aspect, the toy block structure includes a top-face projecting portion projecting to a side face of the toy block from the top face of the toy block; an outward projecting portion projecting outwardly from the side face of the toy block; a bottom-face projecting portion projecting to the side face of the toy block from the bottom face of the toy block; or a side-face concave portion provided on the side face of the toy block. Also, the top-face projecting portion, the outward projecting portion, the bottom-face projecting portion, or the side-face concave portion is formed at a locking portion wherein the nail of the hand locks, so that one adjacent toy block and the other adjacent toy block of the toy block structure can be easily separated by locking the nail of the hand in the locking portion.

Also, according to the toy block structure with respect to a fifth aspect, a locking member locks or engages in a face locked portion or a concave-portion locked portion of the toy block structure positioned uppermost using one hand, and another toy block structure which is not positioned uppermost is clamped by the other hand in such a way as to act a force so that one hand and the other hand separate, thereby, one adjacent toy block and the other adjacent toy block of the toy block structure can be easily separated.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

A toy block structure of one embodiment of the present invention will be explained with reference to the drawings (FIG. 1 to FIG. 4).

The reference sign T shown in FIG. 1 represents a toy block structure, and the toy block structure T is formed by fitting toy blocks 1 including concave and convex portions shown in FIG. 3 and FIG. 4.

The toy block structure T is formed, for example, by fitting convex portions A (T2A) provided on a side of a top face f (T2f) of the other adjacent toy block 1 (T2) in a concave portion a (T1a) provided on a side of a bottom face d (T1d) of one adjacent toy block 1 (T1) of the toy block structure T.

Incidentally, the reference sign A (T1A) shown in FIG. 1 and FIG. 2 represents the convex portions provided on the side of the top face f of one toy block 1 (T1).

Then, there is formed a gap 10 wherein a nail of a hand can enter a border portion between one adjacent toy block 1 (T1) and the other adjacent toy block 1 (T2) of the toy block structure T.

Consequently, in a case wherein the toy block structure T is desired to be separated to a single toy block 1, one adjacent toy block 1 (T1) and the other adjacent toy block 1 (T2) of the toy block structure T can be easily separated by entering the nail of the hand into the gap 10.

The gap 10 is specifically formed, for example, as follows.

Namely, an outer periphery of the top face f (T2f) of the other adjacent toy block 1 (T2) of the toy block structure T is formed in a taper face K (T2K) over a whole periphery, and there is formed the gap 10 wherein the nail of the hand can enter between a whole periphery of an outer periphery of the bottom face d (T1d) of one adjacent toy block 1 (T1) and the taper face K (T2K) of the whole periphery of the outer periphery of the top face f (T2f) of the other adjacent toy block 1 (T2) of the toy block structure T.

According to the toy block structure T shown in FIG. 1 to FIG. 4, there is formed the gap 10 wherein the nail of the hand can enter between the whole periphery of the outer periphery of the bottom face d (T1d) of one adjacent toy block 1 (T1) and the taper face K (T2K) of the whole periphery of the outer periphery of the top face f (T2f) of the other adjacent toy block 1 (T2) of the toy block structure T, so that for a portion wherein the gap 10 is provided on the whole periphery, the toy block structure T can be easily separated by entering the nail from any position of the border portion between one adjacent toy block 1 (T1) and the other adjacent toy block 1 (T2).

Incidentally, the taper face K (T1K and T2K) forming the gap 10 of the present embodiment is provided over the whole periphery of the outer periphery of the top face f of the toy block 1 (T1 and T2), however, in the present invention, it is not limited to the above, and, for example, although it is not shown in the drawings, the taper face K (T1K and T2K) may be formed at one portion of the outer periphery of the top face f of the toy block 1 (T1 and T2).

Also, the taper face K (T1K and T2K) forming the gap 10 of the present embodiment is provided over the whole periphery of the outer periphery of the top face f of the toy block 1 (T1 and T2), however, in the present invention, it is not limited to the above, and, for example, although it is not shown in the drawings, the taper face K (T1K and T2K) may be provided over the whole periphery of the outer periphery of the bottom face d (T1d and T2d) of the toy block 1 (T1 and T2). Also, the taper face K (T1K and T2K) may be formed at one portion of the outer periphery of the bottom face d (T1d and T2d) of the toy block 1 (T1 and T2) as well.

Also, the taper face K (T2K) forming the gap 10 of the present embodiment is not limited to that in the present invention, and may be, for example, a round face (not shown in the drawings). The round face (not shown in the drawings) may be provided over the whole periphery of the outer periphery of the top face f of the toy block 1 (T1 and T2) in the same manner as in the taper face K (T2K), may be provided at one portion of the outer periphery of the top face f of the toy block 1 (T1 and T2), may be provided over the whole periphery of the outer periphery of the bottom face d (T1d and T2d) of the toy block 1 (T1 and T2), or may be provided at one portion of the outer periphery of the bottom face d (T1d and T2d) of the toy block 1 (T1 and T2).

Next, with reference to FIG. 5 and FIG. 6, the gap 10 having a structure different from the aforementioned structure will be explained.

Namely, an outer peripheral portion of the top face f (T2f) of the other adjacent toy block 1 (T2) is formed on a face g (T2g) which is lower than the top face f (T2f) over the whole periphery, and the gap 10 wherein the nail of the hand can enter is formed between the whole periphery of the outer periphery of the bottom face d (T1d) of one adjacent toy block 1 (T1) and the face g (T2g) which is lower than the top face f (T2f) of the other adjacent toy block 1 (T2) of the toy block structure T.

According to the toy block structure T, the outer peripheral portion of the top face f (T2f) of the other adjacent toy block 1 (T2) is formed on the face g (T2g) which is lower than the top face f (T2f) over the whole periphery, and the gap 10 wherein the nail of the hand can enter is formed between the whole periphery of the outer periphery of the bottom face d (T1d) of one adjacent toy block 1 (T1) and the face g (T2g) which is lower than the top face f (T2f) of the other adjacent toy block 1 (T2) of the toy block structure T, so that for the portion wherein the gap 10 is provided on the whole periphery, the toy block structure T can be easily separated by entering the nail from any position of the border portion between one adjacent toy block 1 (T1) and the other adjacent toy block 1 (T2).

Even in the toy block structure T shown in FIG. 5 and FIG. 6, in the same manner as in the aforementioned toy block structure T shown in FIG. 1, the convex portions A (T2A) provided on the side of the top face f (T2f) of the other adjacent toy block 1 (T2) fit in a concave portion (although it is not shown in the drawings, it is the same as in the concave portion a shown in FIG. 4) provided on the side of the bottom face d (T1d) of one adjacent toy block 1 (T1) so as to form the toy block structure T.

Incidentally, the outer periphery of the top face f (T1f and T2f) forming the gap 10 of the present embodiment is formed in the face g (T1g and T2g) which is lower than the top face f (T1f and T2f) over the whole periphery, however, in the present invention, it is not limited to that, and, for example, although it is not shown in the drawings, one portion of the outer periphery of the top face f (T1f and T2f) forming the gap 10 may be formed in the face g (T1g and T2g) which is lower than the top face f (T1f and T2f).

Also, as an element forming the gap 10 of the present embodiment, the gap 10 is formed in the face g (T1g and T2g) which is lower than the top face f (T1f and T2f), however, in the present invention, it is not limited to that, and, for example, as shown in FIG. 15 to FIG. 17, the outer peripheral portion of the bottom face d (T1d and T2d) of the toy block 1 (T1 and T2) may be formed in a face d′ (T1d′ and T2d′) which is higher than the bottom face d (T1d and T2d) over the whole periphery, and one portion of the outer periphery of the bottom face d (T1d and T2d) of the toy block 1 (T1 and T2) may be formed in a face d″ (T1d″ and T2d″) which is higher than the bottom face d (T1d and T2d) (see FIG. 18 to FIG. 20).

Next, with reference to FIG. 7 to FIG. 9, the gap 10 having a structure different from the aforementioned structure will be explained.

Namely, a corner portion of the top face f of the other adjacent toy block 1 (T2) is formed in a taper face K′, and there is formed the gap 10 wherein the nail of the hand can enter at the border portion between one adjacent toy block 1 (T1) and the other adjacent toy block 1 (T2) of the toy block structure T.

According to the toy block structure T shown in FIG. 8 and FIG. 9, since the gap 10 is formed at the corner portion, the gap 10 does not largely stand out in design, and the toy block structure T can be easily separated by entering the nail of the hand into the gap 10.

Even in the toy block structure T shown in FIG. 7 to FIG. 9, in the same manner as in the aforementioned toy block structure T shown in FIG. 1, the convex portions A provided on the side of the top face f of the other adjacent toy block 1 (T2) fit in a concave portion a provided on the side of the bottom face d of one adjacent toy block 1 (T1) so as to form the toy block structure T.

Incidentally, in FIG. 9, although the taper face K′ is formed at the corner portions (in the present embodiment, four corner portions) of the top face f, in the present invention, it is not limited to that, and, for example, although it is not shown in the drawing, the taper face K′ may be formed at the corner portions (four corner portions) of the bottom face d.

Also, although the taper face K′ is formed at the corner portions of the top face f, in the present invention, it is not limited to that, and, for example, although it is not shown in the drawing, the round face may be formed at the corner portions of the top face f, and in place of the corner portions of the top face f, the round face may be formed at the corner portions (four corner portions) of the bottom face d.

Also, in FIG. 9, although the taper face K′ is formed at the corner portions of the top face f, in the present invention, it is not limited to that, and, for example, as shown in FIG. 10, the taper face K′ may be formed at a face g′ which is lower than the top face f, and although the face g′ which is lower than the top face f shown in FIG. 11 is not shown in the drawing, the face g′ may be formed at the corner portions of the bottom face d, and in a case of the corner portions of the bottom face d, the face g′ becomes a face which is higher than the bottom face d.

Next, with reference to FIG. 11 to FIG. 14, the locking portion, wherein the nail of the hand engages, having a structure different from the aforementioned structure will be explained.

In the toy block 1 shown in FIG. 11 to FIG. 14, in the same manner as in the aforementioned toy block 1, the toy block 1 includes the convex portion A on the top face f of a base, and includes the concave portion (although it is not shown in the drawings, the concave portion is the same as the concave portion a shown in FIG. 4) fitting in the convex portion A on the bottom face d on a side opposite to the top face f of the base. For example, the convex portion A provided on the side of the top face f of the other adjacent toy block 1 fits in the concave portion (although it is not shown in the drawings, the concave portion is the same as the concave portion a shown in FIG. 4) provided on the side of the bottom face d of one toy block 1 so as to form the toy block structure T same as in the aforementioned toy block structure T.

The reference sign G1 shown in FIG. 11 represents a top-face projecting portion projecting to a side face i of the toy block f from the top face f of the toy block 1, and the top-face projecting portion G1 is formed in the locking portion wherein the nail of the hand engages.

The nail of the hand is engaged at the locking portion, i.e., the top-face projecting portion G1, so that one adjacent toy block 1 and the other adjacent toy block 1 of the toy block structure T can be easily separated.

Incidentally, in FIG. 11, the top-face projecting portion G1 is formed over the whole periphery of the top face f, however, although it is not shown in the drawing, the top-face projecting portion G1 may be formed at one portion of the whole periphery of the top face f.

Also, the reference sign G2 shown in FIG. 12 represents an outward projecting portion projecting outwardly from the side face i of the toy block 1, and the outward projecting portion G2 is formed in the locking portion wherein the nail of the hand engages.

The nail of the hand is engaged at the locking portion, i.e., the outward projecting portion G2, so that one adjacent toy block 1 and the other adjacent toy block 1 of the toy block structure T can be easily separated.

Incidentally, in FIG. 12, the outward projecting portion G2 is formed over the whole periphery of the side face however, although it is not shown in the drawing, the outward projecting portion G2 may be formed at one portion of the whole periphery of the side face i.

Also, the reference sign G3 shown in FIG. 13 represents a bottom-face projecting portion projecting to the side face i of the toy block 1 from the bottom face (the bottom face d shown in FIG. 11 and FIG. 12) of the toy block 1, and the bottom-face projecting portion G3 is formed in the locking portion wherein the nail of the hand engages.

The nail of the hand is engaged at the locking portion, i.e., the bottom-face projecting portion G3, so that one adjacent toy block 1 and the other adjacent toy block 1 of the toy block structure T can be easily separated.

Incidentally, in FIG. 13, the bottom-face projecting portion G3 is formed over the whole periphery of the bottom face (the bottom face d shown in FIG. 11 and FIG. 12), however, although it is not shown in the drawing, the bottom-face projecting portion G3 may be formed at one portion of the whole periphery of the bottom face.

Also, the reference sign G4 shown in FIG. 14 represents a side-face concave portion provided on the side face i of the toy block 1, and the side-face concave portion G4 is formed in the locking portion wherein the nail of the hand locks.

The nail of the hand is engaged in the locking portion, i.e., the side-face concave portion G4, so that one adjacent toy block 1 and the other adjacent toy block 1 of the toy block structure T can be easily separated.

Incidentally, in FIG. 14, the side-face concave portion G4 is formed over the whole periphery of the side face i, however, although it is not shown in the drawing, the side-face concave portion G4 may be formed at one portion of the whole periphery of the side face i.

Next, a separation method of the toy block structure T will be explained with reference to FIG. 21 to FIG. 23.

In the aforementioned embodiment, one adjacent toy block 1 (T1) and the other adjacent toy block 1 (T2) of the toy block structure T are easily separated by entering the nail of the hand into the gap 10, however, in the present invention, it is not limited to the above, and, for example, there may be the toy block 1 shown in FIG. 21 to FIG. 23.

Namely, in the same manner as in the aforementioned embodiment shown in FIG. 1, the toy block structure T is formed by fitting the toy blocks 1 including the concave and convex portions a (the concave portion a is the concave portion a shown in FIG. 22 which is the same as the concave portion a shown in FIG. 4) and A, however, in the toy block 1 of this embodiment, as shown in FIG. 21 to FIG. 23, through-holes h passing through the top face f are provided on the top face f.

Then, in the same manner as in the aforementioned embodiment shown in FIG. 1, the convex portion A provided on the side of the top face f of the other adjacent toy block 1 fits in the concave portion a provided on the side of the bottom face d of one adjacent toy block 1 of the toy block structure T so as to form the toy block structure T.

The reference sign h shown in FIG. 21 to FIG. 23 represents face locked portions, and the face locked portions h are provided on the top face f of the other toy block 1, and specifically, are the through-holes.

In a case wherein the toy block structure T is desired to be separated to the single toy block 1, a hook portion K1 of a locking member K engages in the face locked portions h (specifically, the through-holes h) of the toy block 1 positioned uppermost using one hand (for example, a right hand), and another toy block 1 which is not positioned uppermost is clamped by the other hand (for example, a left hand) in such a way as to act a force so that one hand and the other hand separate, thereby, one adjacent toy block 1 and the other adjacent toy block 1 of the toy block structure T can be easily separated.

Incidentally, in the embodiment of FIG. 21 to FIG. 23, the face locked portions h (specifically, the through-holes h) pass through the top face f, however, in the present invention, it is not limited to the above, and although it is not shown in the drawings, the face locked portion h may be a concave portion passing through the side face i (specifically, the through-hole h) or recessed on the side face i.

Next, a separation method of the toy block structure T different from the separation method shown in FIG. 21 to FIG. 23 will be explained with reference to FIG. 24 to FIG. 27.

The reference sign h′ shown in FIG. 24, FIG. 25, and FIG. 27 represents concave-portion locked portions, and the concave-portion locked portion h′ is a concave portion provided in the convex portion A. FIG. 24 to FIG. 27 and FIG. 21 to FIG. 23 are the same except that the concave-portion locked portion h′ and the face locked portion h differ, so that the same signs are assigned to the same portions, and an explanation thereof is omitted.

In a case wherein the toy block structure T is desired to be separated to the single toy block 1, the hook portion K1 of the locking member K engages in the concave-portion locked portion h′ of the toy block 1 positioned uppermost using one hand (for example, a right hand), and another toy block 1 which is not positioned uppermost is clamped by the other hand (for example, a left hand) in such a way as to act the force so that one hand and the other hand separate, thereby, one adjacent toy block 1 and the other adjacent toy block 1 of the toy block structure T can be easily separated.

Incidentally, in the embodiment of FIG. 24 to FIG. 27, the concave-portion locked portion h′ is provided in the convex portion A, however, in the present invention, it is not limited to the above, and although it is not shown in the drawings, the concave-portion locked portion h′ may be provided on the side face

Incidentally, the aforementioned toy block 1 is preferably suitable for the toy block 1 having a height from the bottom face to the convex portion to be less than 5 mm, and more preferably, suitable for the toy block 1 having the height from the bottom face to the convex portion to be less than 3.2 mm.

While the invention has been explained with reference to the specific embodiments of the invention, the explanation is illustrative and the invention is limited only by the appended claims.

Claims

1. A toy block structure, comprising:

one and another toy blocks fitted each other and including concave and convex portions,
wherein the convex portion is provided on a side of a top face of the another toy block and fits in the concave portion provided on a side of a bottom face of the one toy block so as to form the toy block structure, and
a gap wherein a nail of a hand is adapted to enter is formed at a border portion between the one toy block and the another toy block.

2. A toy block structure according to claim 1, wherein the another toy block includes a corner portion at a top face thereof formed in a taper face or a round face, or at a face which is lower than the top face so that a gap, wherein a nail of a hand is adapted to enter, is formed at a border portion between the one toy block and the another toy block adjacent to each other.

3. A toy block structure according to claim 1, wherein the one toy block includes a corner portion at a bottom face thereof formed in a taper face or a round face, or at a face which is higher than the bottom face so that a gap, wherein a nail of a hand is adapted to enter, is formed at a border portion between the one toy block and the another toy block adjacent to each other.

4. A toy block structure according to claim 1, wherein the another toy block includes an outer periphery at a top face thereof formed in a taper face or a round face, or at a face which is lower than the top face so that a gap, wherein a nail of a hand is adapted to enter, is formed between an outer periphery of a bottom face of the one toy block, and the taper face or the round face, or the face which is lower than the top face of the outer periphery at the top face of the another toy block.

A toy block structure according to claim 1, wherein the one toy block includes an outer periphery at a bottom face thereof formed in a taper face or a round face, or a face which is higher than the bottom face so that a gap, wherein a nail of a hand is adapted to enter, is formed between the taper face or the round face, or the face which is higher than the bottom face, and an outer periphery of a top face of the another toy block adjacent to each other.

6. A toy block structure, comprising toy blocks fitted each other, each toy block comprising:

a base having a top face, and a bottom face on a side opposite to the top face,
a convex portion formed on the top face,
a concave portion formed on the bottom face to be able to fit in the convex portion, and
a top-face projecting portion projecting to a side of the toy block from the top face, or an outward projecting portion projecting outwardly from the side of the toy block, or a bottom-face projecting portion projecting to the side of the toy block from the bottom face, or a side-face concave portion provided on the side of the toy block,
wherein the top-face projecting portion, or the outward projecting portion, or the bottom-face projecting portion, or the side-face concave portion is formed in a locking portion wherein a nail of a hand is adapted to engage.

7. A toy block structure, comprising:

one toy block having a concave portion provided on a side of a bottom thereof,
another toy block having a convex portion provided on a side of a top thereof fitting in the concave portion to form the toy block structure, and
a face locked portion provided on the top of the another toy block, or a side of the another toy block, or
a concave-portion locked portion provided on the convex portion or the side face thereof, a locking member engaging the face locked portion or the concave-portion locked portion.
