BACK SUPPORT INCLUDING ARMPIT SUPPORT PARTS
Disclosed herein is a back support including armpit support parts. The back support including armpit support parts includes: a main body having horizontal accommodation grooves and vertical accommodation grooves; and armpit support parts positioned at the main body to support the armpits of a user and accommodated in the horizontal accommodation grooves, wherein each armpit support part includes: a base load installed at the main body; and an armpit support connected to the base load to support the armpits of a user, the armpit support parts vertically rotate with respect to the main body, and the base loads horizontally rotate with respect to the main body, and thus the armpit support parts are accommodated in the horizontal accommodation grooves.
The present invention relates to a back support, and more particularly, to a back support including armpit support parts that are provided to a general chair, a backrest, or the like, thus enabling convenient and stable use thereof, and may protect the waist of a user and efficiently prevent the development of varicose veins.
TECHNICAL FIELDModern people spend a great deal of their lives seated in chairs for long periods of time. For example, modern people move while seated in a chair of an automobile, an airplane, or the like for a long period of time, or sit in a chair at an office, school, or the like for a long period of time, and thus the spine is considerably strained due to pressure applied to the waist for a long period of time. As a result, many spine- or waist-associated diseases are caused and modern people experience fatigue.
Generally, a chair includes a seat part on which buttocks of a user are placed, a backrest part which the back of a user closely contacts, and a support to support the seat part and the backrest part at a constant height from the ground, in which the backrest part and the support are provided with armrest parts at opposite sides thereof to enable arms of a user to conveniently rest thereon.
However, conventional chairs having such a structure are structurally configured to support only the back and the lower body, in particularly, the buttocks of a user, and thus a load of the body of a seated user is mostly applied to the waist.
Thus, the body load cannot be appropriately distributed and, as a result, the waist of a seated user is strained, thus causing waist diseases and, in particular, this adversely affects growing children, adolescents, the elderly, and the like in terms of growth and development, and treatment of diseases.
To address these problems, Korean Utility Model Publication No. 2001-0001083 (Jan. 15, 2001), which is prior art, discloses a chair equipped with armpit supports. According to the prior art, a backrest is provided with first and second accommodation holes, and armpits of a user are supported by first and second rotation bars respectively accommodated in the first and second accommodation holes.
However, the above-described prior art is disadvantageous in that, when not in use, the first and second rotation bars are folded again and then accommodated in the first and second accommodation holes, resulting in user inconvenience.
In addition, in a case in which height adjustment is needed according to the body shape of a user, the first and second rotation bars have to be individually disassembled and coupled to fastening long holes, resulting in user inconvenience.
In addition, there is a need to develop a method that can be widely applied to backrests in addition to general chairs.

DISCLOSURE Technical ProblemTherefore, the present invention has been made in view of the above problems, and it is one object of the present invention to provide a back support including armpit support parts that may be widely applied to general chairs, backrests, and the like, thus enabling convenient and stable use thereof, and may protect the waist of a user and efficiently prevent the development of varicose veins.
Technical SolutionIn accordance with one aspect of the present invention, provided is a back support including: a main body having horizontal accommodation grooves and vertical accommodation grooves; and armpit support parts positioned at the main body to support armpits of a user and accommodated in the horizontal accommodation grooves, wherein each armpit support part includes a base load installed at the main body, and an armpit support connected to the base load to support the armpits of a user, the armpit support parts vertically rotate with respect to the main body, and the base loads horizontally rotate with respect to the main body, and thus the armpit support parts are accommodated in the horizontal accommodation grooves.
The back support may further include support frames configured such that one side portion of each support frame is connected to the main body and the base load is vertically movably and rotatably inserted into another side portion of the support frame.
The back support may further include a support bar support block provided at the main body to support the support frame to be slidably movable horizontally with respect to the main body.
The support bar support block may have a support block groove, and the support frame may include a sliding support bar inserted into the support block groove and supported thereby.
The back support may further include a reinforcement plate provided at the main body and coupled to the support bar support block.
The reinforcement plate may have a bent groove, and the support bar support block may be coupled to the bent groove.
Advantageous EffectsAs is apparent from the fore-going description, the present invention advantageously provides a back support including armpit support parts in which the armpit support parts vertically rotate with respect to a main body, and base loads horizontally rotate with respect to the main body, and thus the armpit support parts can be accommodated in horizontal accommodation grooves, thus enabling convenient use thereof.
In addition, the back support including armpit support parts has a simple structure and thus can be widely applied to backrests as well as general chairs.
To fully understand the present invention, operational advantages of the present invention, and objects achieved by the practice of the present invention, it should be referred to the accompanying drawings illustrating exemplary embodiments of the present invention and contents described in the accompanying drawings.
Hereinafter, exemplary embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. Like reference numerals illustrated in the drawings denote like elements.
As illustrated in the drawings, the back support 1 including armpit support parts 200 according to the present embodiment includes: a main body 100 having horizontal accommodation grooves 121 and vertical accommodation grooves 122; the armpit support parts 200 provided at the main body 100 to support the armpits of a user and accommodated in the horizontal accommodation grooves 121; support frames 300 configured such that one side portion of each support frame 300 is connected to the main body 100 and a base bar 210 is vertically movably and rotatably inserted into another side portion of the support frame 300; a support bar support block 400 provided at the main body 100 to support the support frame 300 to be slidably movable horizontally with respect to the main body 100; and a reinforcement plate 500 positioned at the main body 100 and coupled to the support bar support block 400.
