MULTIPURPOSE GLOVE

The present invention relates to the multipurpose glove having a scrubber side, which easily cleans even stubborn residues on kitchen containers, tableware, kitchen sink, bathroom sink and car without scratching said surfaces. The multipurpose glove is also heat-resistant and can be used to handle hot surfaces or items. The scrubbing bristles are on one side the glove, while its opposite side has an anti-slipping embossing pattern, and the inner part of the glove has a plurality of raised projections.

CROSS REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATION

This Application claims the benefit of priority from the Korean patent application No. 30-2017-0061365, filed on Dec. 22, 2017, the contents of which are incorporated herein by reference.

TECHNICAL FIELD

The present invention relates to a multipurpose glove, more particularly, a multipurpose glove scrubber which prevents damage such as scratches of the surface of a kitchen container, a tableware, a kitchen sink, a bathroom sink and a car. It also washes soiling off in gaps or crack formed on the surface in a stable manner, safely protecting the user's hands during washing and cleaning, or when used as a heat-resistant glove while handling hot pots, microwaved, oven-cooked items or other hot surfaces.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

In general, a scrubber is used to remove soiling such as food residue in kitchen utensils such as bowls, dishes, cutlery, and pots. There are various types of scrubbers being developed and used, which generally have a square shape and comprise synthetic resin, nonwoven fabric, metallic wire such as stainless steel, attached to a sponge. Such scrubber can be used by pressing the scrubber with one hand while holding the kitchen container to be washed with the other hand, in order to wash soling off the kitchen container. While burnt residue on the pot or pan can be easily removed, the metallic wire scrubber has high abrasive effect which scratches glass or porcelain surface, coatings on pan or surface of stainless steel. Also, rubber gloves are frequently used to protect the hands of the user. The material of the rubber glove is weak and can easily be torn, it can melt at high temperature and discolors easily.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The present invention solves the above-mentioned problems, by providing the multipurpose glove scrubber having an opening designed for receiving a hand which material is comprised of silicone to prevent damage of the items to be cleaned, such as pots, pans, dishes, utensils and surfaces. The glove can have a scrubbing part comprised of bristles which washes off dirt formed in gaps or crack of the surface in a stable manner.

Conventional scrubbers are usually made with steel, thread, or spray foam which scratches the surface of dishes during washes. Especially scratches on Teflon® coated pans may cause health and sanitary problems. This is because the regular scrubber washes out soil by friction force. The glove and the scrubbing part made of silicone prevent scratches on the surface of dishes while being washed.

The inventive glove scrubber is comprised of very soft bristles. There are from about 22,000 to about 25,000 ultra fine bristles arranged on the palm side and fingers side of the glove. Furthermore, the inside surface of the glove comprises evenly spaced apart raised projections throughout the inside surface of the glove. This facilitates when putting on and off the glove easily, to prevent the user's hand from slipping and to prevent inside of the glove getting damp.

In addition, the present invention provides a multipurpose scrubber or safety glove having scrubbing projections along the side of the glove which removes stubborn residues from dishes easily and protects hands while washing clothes or a car.

Furthermore, the present invention provides a multipurpose glove scrubber having fasten band positioned at the hand entrance of the glove which prevents hands from leaving and washes soiling off in gaps or crack formed on the surface in a stable manner.

The multipurpose glove of the present invention can also include a suction cup for sticking to a surface for easy storage or a ring for hanging the glove.

 DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

To achieve the objects of the present invention, the present invention provides a multipurpose glove having:

a front section having an outside surface and an inside surface;

a back section having an outside surface and an inside surface;

an open end adapted to receive a hand of a user into the inside surface, the open end having an optional a band for fastening the glove on the hand of the user;

wherein:
the front section connects with the back section to form a hand body section with a plurality of finger sections,
the front section comprises a plurality of bristles and the back section is embossed with a design, the inside surface of the front section and the inside surface of the back section have evenly spaced apart raised projections, and
the multipurpose glove is made of silicone.

The multipurpose glove according to the invention can have the inside surface of the front section comprises evenly spaced apart raised projections throughout the inside surface of the front section. The dimensions of the raised projections are each about 1 mm by 1 mm.

The multipurpose glove according to the invention can have the inside surface of the back section having evenly spaced apart raised projections throughout the inside surface of the back section, where the dimensions of the raised projections are each about 2 mm by 2 mm.

The multipurpose glove according to the invention can have the front section having from about 20,000 to about 25,000 bristles, preferably about 22,222 bristles.

The multipurpose glove according to the invention can have in each of the inside surface of the front and the back section a total of 168 raised projections.

The multipurpose glove according to the invention can have the inside surface of the front section having a total of 168 1 cm by 1 cm projections.

The multipurpose glove according to the invention can have the inside surface of the back section having a total of 168 2 mm by 2 mm projections.

The multipurpose glove according to the invention has the evenly spaced apart raised projections which prevents the inside surface of the front section and the back section of the glove from getting damp with moisture.

The multipurpose glove according to the invention can further include a suction cup or a ring at the open end of the glove for purposes of sticking the glove to a wall or hanging by the ring, both for easy storage and access by the user.

The multipurpose glove according to the invention can optionally include a band for fastening the glove on the hand of the user in an accordion-like shape which unfolds open to fit the hand of the user and folds back to a compressed accordion-like shape thereby fastening the glove in place.

The multipurpose glove according to the invention can have the front section with bristles and the back section embossed with a design of the multipurpose glove. This can be reversibly used.

In an embodiment of the present invention, the inner part of the glove is uneven. In another embodiment of the present invention, the scrubbing projections are positioned along the side of the glove. In another embodiment of the present invention, the fasten band is positioned at the open end of the glove. In still another embodiment of the present invention, the suction cup is positioned at the one side of the open end of the glove. In yet another embodiment of the present invention, the ring is positioned at the one side of the open end of the glove.

An assembly according to the present invention includes the space part designed for receiving a hand, the scrubbing bristles positioned at the top of the invention and anti-slipping embossing positioned at the bottom of the invention and are made of silicone. Therefore, the assembly is expected to prevent scratches on the surface of dishes while washing them, prevents hands while washing clothes or a car. Uneven inner upper and inner lower of the space part is to prevent closure of the hand entrance of the glove, to put on and off the glove easily, to prevent hand from slipping and to prevent inside of the glove getting damp. Uneven parts come in different sizes, which help the upper side uneven part's air circulation and temperature maintenance whereas lower side uneven parts prevent glove getting damp by separating air flow and temperature of upper and lower inner side.

Upper inner side unevenness is composed with 2 mm-2 mm sized, 24 rows and 7 lines, total 168 of projections which makes air flow regularly and constantly. These projections locate from the open end of the glove to the back of the hand with 1 cm space.

Lower inner side unevenness is composed with 1 mm-1 mm sized, 24 rows and 7 lines, total 168 of projections which makes air flow regularly and constantly. These projections locate from the open end of the glove to the back of the hand (I think it should be the palm) with 1 cm space. In addition, the assembly according to the present invention including the scrubbing projections positioned along the side of the glove removes stubborn residues from dishes easily as well as soiling on the kitchen sink or the bathroom sink.

Furthermore, the assembly according to the present invention including the fasten band positioned at the hand entrance of the glove it prevents hands from leaving the glove. The open end of the multipurpose glove scrubber has a ladder shaped structure which maintains the inner temperature by allowing the air flow from outside and prevents getting damp. Upper and lower inner uneven parts adjust the air pressure by differing the size of the touching the back of the hand, palm and wrist. Also, the assembly according to the present invention including the suction cup positioned at the one side of the open end of the glove and the ring to hang on a stain less kitchen sink or a bathroom mirror makes the storage of multipurpose glove scrubber easily.

With the multipurpose glove according to the invention, the user can easily wash and clean vegetables which are usually covered with dirt from the soil it was harvested from, such as potatoes, radish, carrots, green onions, beets, etc. There is no need to peel to consume these vegetables after thoroughly washing it with the bristle side of the multipurpose glove.

The design of the bristles including the bristles around the fingers allow for the precision necessary to clean small crevices and hard to reach corners of surfaces or items being cleaned.

The multipurpose glove according to the invention can be easily sterilized in boiling water or in the microwave due to its heat resistant material.

With reference now to the drawings, the preferred embodiment of the present invention will be described. The same reference numerals are used for the same constituent elements in the drawings and redundant explanations for the same constituent elements are omitted. The present invention may be embodied in many different forms and should not be limited to the embodiments set forth herein.

Referring to the figures, the multipurpose glove according to the present invention includes a glove (100), the scrubbing bristles (130) positioned at the front section (or palm area) of the glove and the embossing (120) positioned at the back (back-hand area) of the glove. Furthermore, the glove (100) is made of silicone and comprising the space part or open end (110) designed for receiving user's hand.

The glove (100), the embossing (120) and the scrubbing bristles (130) are all made of silicone which prevents scratch on the surface when cleaning the kitchen container, the tableware, the kitchen sink, the bathroom sink and the car. In addition, the present invention can be utilized as a protection glove to protect hands when washing and cleaning clothes, a heat-resistant glove to move hot cooker and a tool to help open a bottle cap securely without slipping.

The glove (100) includes the space part (110) designed for receiving wearer s hand, comprising uneven inner upper and inner lower of the space part (112) which prevents closure of the hand entrance of the glove makes comfortable to insert wearer's hand. Therefore, it is easy to put on and off the glove (100), and uneven inner part (112) to prevent hand from slipping and to prevent inside of the glove getting damp. The glove (100) further includes a ring (140) so it can be stored at a hook on a wall or a sink.

The glove (100) of the present invention can also include the space parts or open end (110) designed for receiving wear s hand, the scrubbing bristles (130) positioned at the front (or palm section) of the glove and the embossing (120) positioned at the back of the glove, wherein the scrubbing bristles (130) are projected on the side of the glove (100). The scrubbing bristles (130) can be glued to the side of the glove (100), but as gloves are being used in wet condition the insert molding is used for strong bonding. Stubborn residues in a long time after being stuck, it can be removed easily by using scrubbing bristles (130) made of silicone while preventing scratches on the surface of the kitchen container, the tableware, the kitchen sink, the bathroom sink and the car.

The glove (100) of the present invention includes the space part or open end (110) designed for receiving the user's hand, the scrubbing bristles (130) positioned at the top of the glove and the embossing (120) positioned at the bottom of the glove, wherein the glove (100) further includes a suction cup (150) at the open end (110) of the glove.

The open end of the glove can include rubber bands of two lines of bands having an accordion-like structure, which have resilient and compression force. The bands can also be made of silicon having an accordion-like structure, which have resilient and compression force.

The embossing (120) is used safely, without slipping off form the hand, the when washing and cleaning items, such as clothes.

The present invention also provides for a method for using the multipurpose glove described above. The glove according to the invention is useful for different purposes. For example, the method for use is carried out by placing the glove over the hand with the front section comprising the plurality of bristles facing the palm of the hand; in a scrubbing motion cleaning and/or scrubbing the area to be cleaned, optionally using a cleaning agent; and rinsing accordingly with water.

In another example, the method for use is carried out by placing the glove over the hand with the front section comprising the plurality of bristles facing the palm of the hand; placing the glove onto a fabric material comprising dust and/or hair; and swiping the fabric material with the cleaning glove, thereby removing the dust and/or hair from the fabric material.

The multipurpose glove according to the invention can be used by placing the glove over the hand with the back section embossed with a design facing the palm of the hand; placing the glove onto any hot surface or item; removing the hot item from heat source while protecting hand from hot surface or item.

The multipurpose glove according to the present invention can be further used by placing the glove over the hand with the front section comprising the plurality of bristles facing the palm of the hand, or with the back section embossed with a design facing the palm of the hand; placing the glove onto a container comprising a cap or lid; twisting the cap or lid and removing from the container.

While the present invention has been described in connection with certain exemplary embodiment, it should be understood the scope of the invention is not limited thereto, but modifications can be made by those skilled in the art without departing from the scope of the invention.

Claims

1. A multipurpose glove (100) comprising: wherein: the front section connects with the back section to form a hand body section with a plurality of finger sections, the front section comprises a plurality of bristles (130) and the back section is embossed (120) with a design, the inside surface of the front section and the inside surface of the back section comprises evenly spaced apart raised projections (400), and the multipurpose glove is made of silicone.

a front section (200) comprising an outside surface (201) and an inside surface (202);
a back section (300) comprising an outside surface (301) and an inside surface (302);
an open end (110) adapted to receive a hand of a user into the inside surface (202, 302), the open end comprising an optional a band (160) for fastening the glove on the hand of the user;

2. The multipurpose glove according to claim 1, wherein the inside surface of the front section comprises evenly spaced apart raised projections throughout the inside surface of the front section.

3. The multipurpose glove according to claim 1, wherein the inside surface of the back section comprises evenly spaced apart raised projections throughout the inside surface of the back section.

4. The multipurpose glove according to claim 1, wherein the front section comprises from about 20,000 to about 25,000 bristles, preferably about 22,222 bristles.

5. The multipurpose glove according to claim 1, wherein the inside surface of the front section comprises a total of 168 raised projections, and the inside surface of the back section comprises a total of 168 raised projections.

6. The multipurpose glove according to claim 1, wherein the inside surface of the front section comprises a total of 168 1 mm by 1 mm projections.

7. The multipurpose glove according to claim 1, wherein the inside surface of the back section comprises a total of 168 of 2 mm by 2 mm projections.

8. The multipurpose glove according to claim 1, wherein the evenly spaced apart raised projections prevents inside surface of the front section and the back section of the glove from getting damp with moisture.

9. The multipurpose glove according to claim 1, further comprising a suction cup at the open end of the glove.

10. The multipurpose glove according to claim 1, wherein the optional a band for fastening the glove on the hand of the user is an accordion-like shape which unfolds open to fit the hand of the user and folds back to a compressed accordion-like shape.

11. The multipurpose glove according to claim 1, wherein the front section comprising bristles and the back section embossed with a design of the multipurpose glove is reversibly used.

12. A method for using the multipurpose glove according to claim 1, comprising:

placing the glove over the hand with the front section comprising the plurality of bristles facing the palm of the hand;
in a scrubbing motion cleaning and/or scrubbing the area to be cleaned, optionally using a cleaning agent; and
rinsing accordingly with water.

13. A method for using the multipurpose glove according to claim 1, comprising:

placing the glove over the hand with the front section comprising the plurality of bristles facing the palm of the hand;
placing the glove onto a fabric material comprising dust and/or hair; and
swiping the fabric material with the cleaning glove, thereby removing the dust and/or hair from the fabric material.

14. A method for using the multipurpose glove according to claim 1, comprising:

placing the glove over the hand with the back section embossed with a design facing the palm of the hand;
placing the glove onto any hot surface or item;
removing the hot item from heat source while protecting hand from hot surface or item.

15. A method for using the multipurpose glove according to claim 1, comprising:

placing the glove over the hand with the front section comprising the plurality of bristles facing the palm of the hand, or with the back section embossed with a design facing the palm of the hand;
placing the glove onto a container comprising a cap or lid;
twisting the cap or lid and removing from the container.

16. The multipurpose glove according to claim 2, wherein the dimensions of the raised projections are each about 1 mm by 1 mm or about 2 mm by 2 mm.

17. The multipurpose glove according to claim 3, wherein the dimensions of the raised projections are each about 1 mm by 1 mm or 2 mm by 2 mm.

18. The multipurpose glove according to claim 5, wherein the dimensions of the raised projections are each about 1 mm by 1 mm or 2 mm by 2 mm.
