A cleaning grinding head structure includes a main body, a connecting member connected with the main body, a stop ring mounted between the main body and the connecting member, and an operation member mounted on the connecting member. The main body has a first end provided with a fitting section and a second end provided with a connecting section. The main body has a mounting section arranged on the connecting section. The mounting section is provided with a plurality of slots. The connecting member has a first end provided with a locking section and a second end provided with a driving section. The locking section is provided with a mounting recess mounted on the connecting section. The mounting recess has a periphery provided with a plurality of ribs inserted into the slots of the main body.

Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to a cleaner and, more particularly, to a cleaning grinding head structure.

2. Description of the Related Art

A conventional cleaner in accordance with the prior art shown in FIG. 9 comprises a support member 6, a housing 8 connected with the support member 6, and a brush ring 9 combined with the housing 8. The support member 6 has a front end 61 provided with a receiving recess 62 for receiving the housing 8. The support member 6 has a periphery provided with an elastic plate 7. The housing 8 has a first end 81 combined with the brush ring 9 and a second end provided with a locking plate 82 which has a distal end provided with a hook portion 83 locked onto the elastic plate 7 of the support member 6. The brush ring 9 has a face provided with a rough portion 91. In operation, the brush ring 9 is mounted on a workpiece which is secured to an article. Thus, when the support member 6 is driven by an electric tool or a pneumatic tool, the housing 8 is rotated to rotate the brush ring 9 so that the rough portion 91 of the brush ring 9 is rotated to clean the workpiece and the article. When the hook portion 83 of the locking plate 82 is unlocked from the elastic plate 7 of the support member 6, the housing 8 is detached from the support member 6 for replacement of the housing 8 and the brush ring 9. However, the housing 8 is secured to the support member 6 only by engagement between the hook portion 83 of the locking plate 82 and the elastic plate 7 of the support member 6, so that the housing 8 is not attached to the support member 6 steadily. Thus, the housing 8 is easily loosened and detached from the support member 6 during rotation at a high speed, thereby causing danger to the user.

BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The primary objective of the present invention is to provide a cleaning grinding head structure that is detachable and will not be loosened during rotation.

In accordance with the present invention, there is provided a cleaning grinding head structure comprising a main body, a connecting member connected with the main body, a stop ring mounted between the main body and the connecting member, and an operation member mounted on the connecting member. The main body has a first end provided with a fitting section and a second end provided with a connecting section. The fitting section of the main body is provided with a fitting opening. The connecting section of the main body is provided with a receiving opening. The main body has a mounting section arranged on a periphery of the connecting section. The mounting section of the main body is provided with a plurality of slots which are arranged at a vertical state. The main body has a locking groove which is arranged on a periphery of the mounting section. The stop ring is retained in and partially protrudes outward from the locking groove of the main body. The connecting member has a first end provided with a locking section and a second end provided with a driving section. The locking section of the connecting member is provided with a mounting recess mounted on the connecting section of the main body. The mounting recess of the connecting member has a periphery provided with a plurality of ribs inserted into the slots of the main body, so that the connecting member is mounted on the mounting section of the main body through the connecting section of the main body. The ribs of the connecting member are arranged at a vertical state. The locking section of the connecting member has an edge provided with at least one locking hook which is hooked on the stop ring. The driving section of the connecting member has a center provided with a through hole extending through the mounting recess of the locking section. The operation member is mounted on and driven by the driving section of the connecting member.

According to the primary advantage of the present invention, the ribs of the connecting member are inserted into and secured in the slots of the main body, and the at least one locking hook of the connecting member is hooked on the stop ring which is locked in the locking groove of the main body, so that the connecting member is locked onto and positioned on the main body steadily.

According to another advantage of the present invention, the ribs of the connecting member engage the slots of the main body, so that the connecting member will not slide during rotation, thereby preventing the connecting member from being loosened and detached from the main body during the rotation at a high speed.

Further benefits and advantages of the present invention will become apparent after a careful reading of the detailed description with appropriate reference to the accompanying drawings.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

Referring to the drawings and initially to FIGS. 1-4, a cleaning grinding head structure in accordance with the preferred embodiment of the present invention comprises a main body 1, a connecting member 2 connected with the main body 1, a stop ring 3 mounted between the main body 1 and the connecting member 2, and an operation member 4 mounted on the connecting member 2.

The main body 1 has a first end provided with a fitting section 11 and a second end provided with a connecting section 12. The fitting section 11 of the main body 1 is provided with a fitting opening 111. The connecting section 12 of the main body 1 is provided with a receiving opening 121. The main body 1 has a mounting section 13 arranged on a periphery of the connecting section 12. The mounting section 13 of the main body 1 is provided with a plurality of slots 131 which are arranged at a vertical state. The main body 1 has a locking groove 14 which is arranged on a periphery of the mounting section 13.

The stop ring 3 is retained in and partially protrudes outward from the locking groove 14 of the main body 1.

The connecting member 2 has a first end provided with a locking section 21 and a second end provided with a driving section 22. The locking section 21 of the connecting member 2 is provided with a mounting recess 211 mounted on the connecting section 12 of the main body 1. The mounting recess 211 of the connecting member 2 has a diameter slightly greater than that of the connecting section 12 of the main body 1. The mounting recess 211 of the connecting member 2 has a periphery provided with a plurality of ribs 2111 inserted into the slots 131 of the main body 1, so that the connecting member 2 is mounted on the mounting section 13 of the main body 1 through the connecting section 12 of the main body 1. The ribs 2111 of the connecting member 2 are arranged at a vertical state. The locking section 21 of the connecting member 2 has an edge provided with at least one locking hook 212 which is hooked on the stop ring 3. The driving section 22 of the connecting member 2 has a center provided with a through hole 221 extending through the mounting recess 211 of the locking section 21.

The operation member 4 is mounted on and driven by the driving section 22 of the connecting member 2. The operation member 4 is used for cleaning and grinding.

In the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the fitting opening 111 of the main body 1 has a rectangular shape, a polygonal shape or an irregular shape to correspond to a mechanic actuating device with different shapes.

In the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the cleaning grinding head structure further comprises a coupling member 5 locked in the fitting opening 111 of the main body 1. The coupling member 5 has a shape corresponding to that of the fitting opening 111 of the main body 1. The coupling member 5 is provided with a coupling portion 51 for coupling different mechanic actuating devices.

In the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the coupling portion 51 of the coupling member 5 has a form of a post or a socket to correspond to different mechanic actuating devices.

In the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the locking groove 14 of the main body 1 has an arcuate recessed shape, and the stop ring 3 is positioned in the locking groove 14 of the main body 1.

In the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the locking groove 14 of the main body 1 has a bottom provided with at least one mounting cavity 141 connected to the stop ring 3 for receiving the stop ring 3 during detachment of the connecting member 2.

In the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the operation member 4 is provided with a passage 41 mating with the through hole 221 of the connecting member 2.

In the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the passage 41 of the operation member 4 is smaller than the through hole 221 of the connecting member 2.

In the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the operation member 4 is a steel brush, a nylon brush, a bristle brush, a steel wool, a grinder, a cloth wheel, a wool wheel or a sponge.

In the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the stop ring 3 and the main body 1 are formed integrally. The stop ring 3 protrudes outward from a periphery of the main body 1.

In operation, referring to FIGS. 5-8 with reference to FIGS. 1-4, the connecting member 2 is mounted on the main body 1, and the fitting section 11 of the main body 1 is connected with a mechanic device, such as an electric tool or a pneumatic tool. When the mechanic device is rotated, the main body 1 is driven to rotate the connecting member 2 which rotates the operation member 4, so that the operation member 4 is driven to achieve cleaning and grinding functions. In such a manner, the connecting member 2 is connected with the main body 1 to achieve the cleaning and grinding functions. Besides, the connecting member 2 is removed from the main body 1 to replace the operation member 4. At this time, the connecting member 2 is combined with the operation member 4, so that the connecting member 2 and the operation member 4 are replaced simultaneously. In such a manner, the operation member 4 includes a steel brush, a nylon brush, a bristle brush, a steel wool, a grinder, a cloth wheel, a wool wheel or a sponge, so as to provide different cleaning and grinding functions, including rust cleaning (or derusting), waxing, brushing, polishing or the like.

In addition, the fitting section 11 of the main body 1 has a rectangular shape, a polygonal shape or an irregular shape to correspond to mechanic devices with different shapes and sizes. Further, the fitting opening 111 of the main body 1 cooperates with the coupling member 5 whose coupling portion 51 is used for coupling different types of mechanic devices. For example, when the coupling portion 51 of the coupling member 5 is a post, the coupling portion 51 of the coupling member 5 is inserted into a pneumatic drill. Alternatively, when the coupling portion 51 of the coupling member 5 is a socket, the coupling portion 51 of the coupling member 5 is mounted on a smaller mechanic device that cannot be mounted directly. Further, the at least one mounting cavity 141 of the main body 1 is used for receiving the stop ring 3 when the connecting member 2 is detached. Further, the at least one locking hook 212 of the connecting member 2 is hooked on the stop ring 3, so that the connecting member 2 is locked onto and positioned on the main body 1. Further, the passage 41 of the operation member 4 allows proceeding of cleaning and grinding actions.

When in use, the main body 1 is directly connected with the mechanic device or combined with the coupling member 5 to connect the mechanic device according to the types of the mechanic device, so that the main body 1 and the coupling member 5 are available for mechanic devices of different types. In addition, the connecting member 2 is combined with the operation member 4 of different types so as to achieve different cleaning and grinding functions, including derusting, polishing, grinding and cleaning. Thus, the main body 1 is selectively connected with the connecting member 2 which is combined with the operation member 4 of different types

In practice, when the cleaning grinding head structure is used for derust a metallic workpiece, the operation member 4 is in the form of a steel brush, a steel wool or a grinder, to remove the rust on and grind the metallic workpiece. Then, the at least one locking hook 212 of the connecting member 2 is detached from the stop ring 3 to unlock the connecting member 2, so that the connecting member 2 is detached from the connecting section 12 of the main body 1. Then, the connecting member 2 is replaced a new connecting member 2 which is combined with the operation member 4 which is in the form of a cloth wheel or a wool wheel. At this time, a paint is applied on the operation member 4. Then, the new connecting member 2 is mounted on the main body 1, and the operation member 4 is used for polishing the metallic workpiece.

Alternatively, when the cleaning grinding head structure is used for cleaning a bolt, especially the bolt on a car, the passage 41 of the operation member 4 is mounted on the bolt. In such a manner, when the operation member 4 is rotated, the bolt is rubbed and cleaned by the inner face of the passage 41, so that the operation member 4 cleans the bolt easily and efficiently.

Accordingly, the ribs 2111 of the connecting member 2 are inserted into and secured in the slots 131 of the main body 1, and the at least one locking hook 212 of the connecting member 2 is hooked on the stop ring 3 which is locked in the locking groove 14 of the main body 1, so that the connecting member 2 is locked onto and positioned on the main body 1 steadily. In addition, the ribs 2111 of the connecting member 2 engage the slots 131 of the main body 1, so that the connecting member 2 will not slide during rotation, thereby preventing the connecting member 2 from being loosened and detached from the main body 1 during the rotation at a high speed.

Although the invention has been explained in relation to its preferred embodiment(s) as mentioned above, it is to be understood that many other possible modifications and variations can be made without departing from the scope of the present invention. It is, therefore, contemplated that the appended claim or claims will cover such modifications and variations that fall within the scope of the invention.

Claims

1. A cleaning grinding head structure comprising:

a main body;
a connecting member connected with the main body;
a stop ring mounted between the main body and the connecting member; and
an operation member mounted on the connecting member;
wherein:
the main body has a first end provided with a fitting section and a second end provided with a connecting section;
the fitting section of the main body is provided with a fitting opening;
the connecting section of the main body is provided with a receiving opening;
the main body has a mounting section arranged on a periphery of the connecting section;
the mounting section of the main body is provided with a plurality of slots which are arranged at a vertical state;
the main body has a locking groove which is arranged on a periphery of the mounting section;
the stop ring is retained in and partially protrudes outward from the locking groove of the main body;
the connecting member has a first end provided with a locking section and a second end provided with a driving section;
the locking section of the connecting member is provided with a mounting recess mounted on the connecting section of the main body;
the mounting recess of the connecting member has a periphery provided with a plurality of ribs inserted into the slots of the main body, so that the connecting member is mounted on the mounting section of the main body through the connecting section of the main body;
the ribs of the connecting member are arranged at a vertical state;
the locking section of the connecting member has an edge provided with at least one locking hook which is hooked on the stop ring;
the driving section of the connecting member has a center provided with a through hole extending through the mounting recess of the locking section; and
the operation member is mounted on and driven by the driving section of the connecting member.

2. The cleaning grinding head structure of claim 1, wherein the fitting opening of the main body has a rectangular shape, a polygonal shape or an irregular shape.

3. The cleaning grinding head structure of claim 1, further comprising:

a coupling member locked in the fitting opening of the main body;
wherein:
the coupling member has a shape corresponding to that of the fitting opening of the main body; and
the coupling member is provided with a coupling portion for coupling different mechanic devices.

4. The cleaning grinding head structure of claim 3, wherein the coupling portion of the coupling member has a form of a post or a socket to correspond to different mechanic devices.

5. The cleaning grinding head structure of claim 1, wherein the locking groove of the main body has an arcuate recessed shape, and the stop ring is positioned in the locking groove of the main body.

6. The cleaning grinding head structure of claim 1, wherein the locking groove of the main body has a bottom provided with at least one mounting cavity connected to the stop ring.

7. The cleaning grinding head structure of claim 1, wherein the operation member is provided with a passage mating with the through hole of the connecting member.

8. The cleaning grinding head structure of claim 7, wherein the passage of the operation member is smaller than the through hole of the connecting member.

9. The cleaning grinding head structure of claim 1, wherein the operation member is a steel brush, a nylon brush, a bristle brush, a steel wool, a grinder, a cloth wheel, a wool wheel or a sponge.

10. The cleaning grinding head structure of claim 1, wherein:

the stop ring and the main body are formed integrally; and
the stop ring protrudes outward from a periphery of the main body.
