Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION Field of the Invention

The invention is a playpen arrangement which is patterned after the playing court used for martial arts. Taking into account the safety aspects typical to playpens there could be a form that resembles the shape of a cage or a boxing ring.

There is a moment in the development of children when the use of playpens becomes recommended for their safety. For smaller flats, foldable playpens with net enclosure are recommended. If there is large space, a bigger, fixed playpen can also be selected. The development of babies is a relatively fast, trackable and natural process. In the case of a healthy child, there is no need for development, so the playpen is not qualified to urge the child to walk as soon as possible. Most often, the living space of the child can be marked with it facilitating the everyday tasks of mothers. If the baby starts walking, their parents have to monitor their movement and create the safest circumstances. Sooner or later children must be placed in a playpen for their own safety. The playpen is basically a bed enclosed with bars or a net in which children are safe and can exercise standing, climbing and walking. This practical tool is mainly help for busy parents who look after their child alone. Of course, it is not good if the child is always in the playpen since they also have a need for exercise and want to explore the world. Therefore, it is critical not to spend all their time in the playpen.

Description of the Related Art

There are many examples for various type and form of playpens, one of which is presented in the Australian patent with publication number AU2008101208A4 titled BABY PLAYPEN WHOSE ENCLOSURE CLOTH WILL NOT BE RUBBED OR WORN BY THE POSTS. The characteristic of the embodiment described in the patent is that the linen is connected to the support bar with an easily removable joining. The joining has a shape and material quality so that the material is capable of non-lasting deformation during connection, thus it is easy to create a fit which provides a long-lasting connection. The joining has a cavity similar to a notch, on the surface of which the material bending over it turns away when the mount snaps into place, then returns to its original form. The embodiment presented in the patent is not different from the conventional playpen arrangements since they form a rectangle. The following American patent, the title of which is CONVERTIBLE BABY CRIB AND PLAYPEN with publication number U.S. Pat. No. 4,491,992A presents a solution in which the elements of the playpen tubes can be disassembled and assembled in various forms. The tubes are built as a graph; it contains edges and points. The edges mean the certain elements of the frame, while the points are the tube fittings. The tube fittings are formed so that any elements of various length can fit the connection points. Thus, a playpen frame of an adjustable size can be built. The fittings have different design since different connection needs can arise at specific points of the tube. Accordingly, the patent differentiates between the corner element and the elements that can be fitted straight. Another American patent, the FOLDABLE-PLAYPEN with publication number U.S. Pat. No. 5,911,653A presents an embodiment where the frame of the playpen is foldable. The frame is weakened at certain points, and it has joints, thus the elements are able to turn along a specific axis. At the bottom of the frame, there is a support unit which aggregates the elements of the frame running to all directions in one point. These are also fixed with joints so they can be moved. Thus, the frame can be folded to a small easy-to-handle form. Another part of the embodiment is the net which can be put on the unfolded frame easily. If the frame is needed to be closed, the net can easily be removed and folded to a small size. Therefore, no big space is needed for the storage of the playpen. Another American patent, the BABY WALKER SYSTEMS with publication number U.S. Pat. No. 9,289,077B1 present another preferred embodiment of playpens. The appearance of the baby walker is similar to the traditional scooter except that it rolls on three wheels. The child can clasp the upper, horizontal element of the “T” shaped similarly to the scooter. The baby walker cannot be steered, but its wheels may roll freely thus allowing walking in any direction. The American patent called CONVERTIBLE BABY STROLLER ASSEMBLY with publication number US2016016601A1 provides information on the implementation of an entirely different concept. According to this, the baby stroller is convertible and can be adjusted to an embodiment which is suitable for the movement of the playpen. Thus, the embodiment presented in the patent resembles a traditional baby stroller. The socket of the playpen is on the place of the baby stroller's cart. A dedicated cover can be put on the playpen placed here which protects the baby in the stroller from rain and direct sunlight. The stroller has four wheels, out of which the first two can turn to any direction. Furthermore, the frame of the baby stroller and the horizontal handle are part of the embodiment.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The purpose is to create a playpen which takes the form of cages of Mixed Martial Arts and boxing rings in addition to fulfil the safety requirements laid down for the protection of children safety.

The invention is based on the recognition that the rings of certain martial arts and the forms of playpens for children have similar features. In addition, martial arts have numerous fans, thus playpens designed in accordance with the form of rings may also gain popularity.

So the invention is a playpen patterned after the rings of martial arts, the scaling of which is appropriate for children, and which is compliant with the safety requirements specified for the health of children. The playpen can be made both for boys and girls since the assembly presented in the invention can be made attractive for any gender by painting the specific structural elements. The playpen includes the common units. The panel where the child spends most of his/her time is appropriately soft. The elements of the supporting structure are usually padded so that the children put in the playpen do not get hurt due to hard, occasionally sharp parts. The net preventing the child from falling out of the playpen forms an essential part of the assembly.

In one of the preferred embodiments of the invention, the shape of the playpen is similar to the cage used in MMA fights. The ring is octagonal from above and has eight sides with nets on them. Padded columns hold the nets and the structure frame is also padded.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWING

The invention is presented in detail using the following FIGURE:

FIG. 1: A playpen modelling the shape of a cage, in a spatial view.

FIG. 1 shows a playpen with a form similar to the cage of MMA fights. Walking surfaces (2) are on the support (1) of the ring, the quality of which has the safest and most comfortable material characteristics for children. The walking surface (2) is coupled to the padded columns (3) which are made modelling the cage and have a role in holding the net (4). The net (4) is located among the padded columns (3), the walking surface (2) and the padded frame (5) and its role is to protect children put in the playpen from falling out. The frame (5) provides the safety and stability of the whole structure, and it is also padded for the safety of children. There is a net at the side of the walking surface (2) which is optional and aims to prevent children from falling out of the playpen
