Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention

The instant disclosure relates to a cosmetic tool, and more particularly to an assembly-type application device and a method for using the same.

2. Description of Related Art

In Taiwan, many people may be susceptible to suffering from skin problems due to the muggy and humid weather. Thus, people who love beauty try to use skincare and cosmetic products with low burden on the skin. In addition, women use mostly a powder puff to make up the face every day. This easily results in the growth of bacteria breeding in the powder puff, and thus causes skin problems, if the powder puff is not cleaned as often as possible or not replaced with a new one regularly. The research findings indicated that the number of bacteria breeding in a powder puff which is used over six months without cleaning is twice as that breeding on a toilet seat.

Sponge and silicone powder puffs are commercially available. However, the sponge powder puff is formed with pores. When in use, a cosmetic product would diffuse into the pores and result in an increased usage. In addition, the residual cosmetic product cannot be effectively removed from the pores regardless of how frequently the user can clean the sponge powder puff. Thus, the sponge powder puff, when being used for a long period of time, needs to be replaced with a new one to avoid the growth of bacteria so as to provide the user with a comfort in use. Nevertheless, the expenses of sponge powder puffs would arise inevitably. In comparison with the sponge powder puff, the silicone powder puff can save the usage of the cosmetic product and be easily cleaned by rinsing and scrubbing. However, producing silicone powder puffs is not only time-consuming but also a burden on the production cost.

The first step (step S100) is providing an assembly-type application device which includes a hollow application member, an elastic body, a sealing member, and a holding member. The second step (step S102) is inserting the elastic body into the hollow application member. The third step (step S104) is sealing the hollow application member by the sealing member to maintain the elastic body in the hollow application member. The fourth step (step S106) is coupling the holding member to the hollow application member via the sealing member by adhering. The final step (step S108) is operating the holding member to bring the hollow application member apply a cosmetic product to the skin surface. The user can repeat step S108 and then apply a specific amount of the cosmetic product to a user's face.

Effects of the Invention

The hollow application member is designed to become resilient in the presence of the elastic body. Therefore, the assembly-type application device does not generate any irreversible deformation when in use, and thus it can apply the cosmetic product quickly and easily.

In comparison with the silicone powder puff which is of a solid structure, the hollow application member of the assembly-type application device is a hollow structure with the elastic body. Therefore, a great amount of material for the hollow application member is saved.

Furthermore, the hollow application member is made of a soft plastic material (e.g., silicone) without porous or other surface irregularity and thus does not absorb the cosmetic product when in use. Therefore, a usage amount of the cosmetic product can be reduced, and the assembly-type application device is easily cleaned after being used.
