Headwear Apparatus that Matches to a Pair of Shoes

A headwear apparatus that matches to a pair of shoes includes a brim, a crown, a plurality of matching shoe embroideries, a plurality of logos, a plurality of decorative buttons, and an upper decoration. The crown includes a left half and a right half. The plurality of decorative buttons includes a first decorative button, a second decorative button, and a third decorative button. The brim is symmetrically positioned to the left half and the right half, and the brim is terminally connected to the left half and the right half. The plurality of matching shoe embroideries is perimetrically connected onto the crown. The upper decoration is integrated onto the left half and the right half. The first decorative button is connected onto the left half. The second decorative button is connected onto the right half. The third decorative button is connected onto the brim.

Description

The current application is a continuation-in-part (CIP) application of the U.S. design application Ser. No. 29/635,375 filed on Jan. 30, 2018.

The current application also claims a priority to the U.S. Provisional Patent application Ser. No. 62/632,197 filed on Feb. 19, 2018.

FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to headwear items. More specifically, the present invention is a cap that matches and/or complements the design features of a pair of shoes.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

A headwear apparatus is a head covering that is worn for various reasons, including protection against weather conditions, ceremonial reasons such as university graduation, religious reasons, safety, or as a fashion accessory. A cap is a specific style of headwear apparatus and popular among sports enthusiasts due to simplicity and functionality. In present times, sports enthusiasts are always trying to find ways to portray their favorite teams or players. Oftentimes, sport enthusiasts invest in sports and/or entertainment themed shoes, but often struggle with picking a matching cap for those respective shoes.

It is an objective of the present invention to address the lack of matching and/or complementing caps. More specifically, the present invention is a cap that matches and/or complements the design features of a pair of shoes. The present invention incorporates shoe features such as shoe soles, heel counters, quarter panels, shoe laces, decorative buttons, and other decorative features into a cap. As a result, sports enthusiasts are able to wear matching cap and a pair of shoes fashionably and effectively portray their favorite teams or players.

DETAIL DESCRIPTIONS OF THE INVENTION

All illustrations of the drawings are for the purpose of describing selected versions of the present invention and are not intended to limit the scope of the present invention.

The present invention is a headwear apparatus that matches to a pair of shoes. More specifically, the present invention is a cap that matches and/or complements the design features of the pair of shoe so that the user can wear a matching cap and a pair of shoes. The present invention is preferably centered around sport teams and/or players. The present invention comprises a brim 1, a crown 3, a plurality of matching shoe embroideries 7, a plurality of logos 15, a plurality of decorative buttons 20, and an upper decoration 12 as shown in FIG. 1.

In reference to a general configuration of the present invention, the brim 1 protrudes out of the user's head when the present invention is worn. The brim 1 resembles a conventional cap brim 1 but serves as a platform for integrating the plurality of logos 15. The crown 3 wraps around on the user's head and covers the user's head. The crown 3 resembles a conventional cap but serves as a platform for integrating the plurality of matching shoe embroideries 7, the plurality of logos 15, and the plurality of decorative buttons 20. In reference to FIG. 1-2, the brim 1 is symmetrically positioned to a left half 5 and a right half 6 of the crown 3 so that the brim 1 can be terminally connected to the left half 5 and the right half 6. Collectively, the brim 1 and the crown 3 delineates a general shape of basketball hat as the brim 1 is preferably sewn on to a bottom edge 4 of the crown 3. The plurality of matching shoe embroideries 7 portrays the design features of the pair of shoe, preferably a pair of basketball shoes. The plurality of matching shoe embroideries 7 is perimetrically connected onto the crown 3 so that each shoe embroidery 7 is able to fully utilize an outer surface area of the crown 3. The upper decoration 12 is integrated onto the left half 5 and a right half 6. The plurality of decorative buttons 20 enhances the ornamental aspect of the present invention and comprises a first decorative button 21, a second decorative button 22, and a third decorative button 23. More specifically, the first decorative button 21 is connected onto the left half 5 and positioned opposite of the brim 1. The second decorative button 22 is connected onto the right half 6 and positioned opposite of the brim 1. The third decorative button 23 is connected onto the brim 1.

The plurality of matching shoe embroideries 7 can portray a plurality of specific design features from a pair of shoes as each pair of shoes are different from one another. In reference to FIG. 3, the plurality of matching shoe embroideries 7 comprises a first quarter panel embroidery 8, a second quarter panel embroidery 9, a shoe sole embroidery 11, and a heel counter embroidery 10.

In reference to FIG. 4, the first quarter panel embroidery 8 is positioned opposite of the second quarter panel embroidery 9. The first quarter panel embroidery 8 is extended in between the first decorative button 21 and the brim 1 as the first quarter panel embroidery 8 is connected onto the left half 5. In other words, the first quarter panel embroidery 8 is positioned on the sides of the crown 3, where the first quarter panel embroidery 8 is directly adjacent to the left sides portion of the user's head. Furthermore, the first quarter panel embroidery 8 is an aesthetic layer that matches and/or complements the designs of a quarter panel section of a basketball shoe. In the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the first quarter panel embroidery 8 matches and complements a quarter panel design appearance of a retro 13 Jordan shoe. In various embodiments of the present invention, the first quarter panel embroidery 8 can match and complement a quarter panel design of various types of shoes.

In reference to FIG. 5, the second quarter panel embroidery 9 is positioned opposite of the first quarter panel embroidery 8. The second quarter panel embroidery 9 is extended in between the second decorative button 22 and the brim 1 as the second quarter panel embroidery 9 is connected onto the right half 6. In other words, the second quarter panel embroidery 9 is positioned on the sides of the crown 3, where the second quarter panel embroidery 9 is directly adjacent to the right sides portion of the user's head. Furthermore, the second quarter panel embroidery 9 is an aesthetic layer that matches and/or complements the designs of a quarter panel section of a basketball shoe. In the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the second quarter panel embroidery 9 matches and complements a quarter panel design appearance of a retro 13 Jordan shoe. In various embodiments of the present invention, the second quarter panel embroidery 9 can match and complement a quarter panel design of various types of shoes.

In reference to FIG. 3-5, the shoe sole embroidery 11 is symmetrically positioned to the left half 5 and the right half 6. The shoe sole embroidery 11 is perimetrically extended along the bottom edge 4 of the crown 3 and connected onto the left half 5 and the right half 6. In other words, the shoe sole embroidery 11 is positioned directly adjacent to the brim 1 and the bottom edge 4 of the crown 3. Furthermore, the shoe sole embroidery 11 is an aesthetic layer that matches and/or complements the designs of a shoe sole section of a basketball shoe. In the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the shoe sole embroidery 11 matches and complements the design appearance of a retro 13 Jordan shoe. For example, the shoe sole embroidery 11 further comprises a wave-like design as the wave-like design shapely extends from one end of the brim 1 to the opposite end of the brim 1. In various embodiments of the present invention, the shoe sole embroidery 11 can match and complement a shoe sole design of various types of shoes.

In reference to FIG. 3-5, the heel counter embroidery 10 is symmetrically positioned to the left half 5 and the right half 6. The heel counter embroidery 10 is perimetrically positioned in between the first quarter panel embroidery 8, the second quarter panel embroidery 9, and the shoe sole embroidery 11. Resultantly, the heel counter embroidery 10 is connected onto the left half 5 and the right half 6. In other words, the heel counter embroidery 10 is positioned opposite of the brim 1 and within the first quarter panel embroidery 8, the second quarter panel embroidery 9, and the shoe sole embroidery 11. Furthermore, the heel counter embroidery 10 is an aesthetic layer that matches and/or complements the designs of a heel counter section of a basketball shoe. In the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the heel counter embroidery 10 matches and complements the design appearance of a retro 13 Jordan shoe. In various embodiments of the present invention, the heel counter embroidery 10 can match and complement a heel counter design of various types of shoes.

In reference to FIG. 6, the upper decoration 12 comprises a shoelace 24, a plurality of left eyelets 25, and a plurality of right eyelets 26 within the preferred embodiment of the present invention. More specifically, the plurality of left eyelets 25 is linearly connected along the left half 5. The plurality of right eyelets 26 is linearly connected along the right half 6. In other words, the plurality of left eyelets 25 and the plurality of right eyelets 26 are linearly positioned in between the first decorative button 21 and the second decorative button 22 from the brim 1 to the heel counter embroidery 10. The shoelace 24 is decoratively traverses through the plurality of left eyelets 25 and the plurality of right eyelets 26. Resultantly, the shoelace 24 is extended from the brim 1 to the heel counter embroidery 10 as the shoelace 24 is engaged with the left half 5 through the plurality of left eyelets 25 and with the right half 6 through the plurality of right eyelets 26. In other words, the shoelace 24 centrally extends along a connection line of the left half 5 and the right half 6. Furthermore, the shoelace 24 is an aesthetic layer that matches and/or complements the designs of a shoelace lock section of a basketball shoe. In the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the shoelace 24 matches and complements the design appearance of a crisscross lacing. In various embodiments of the present invention, the shoelace 24 can match and complement a various design of shoelace locks.

In reference to FIG. 7, the upper decoration 12 comprises a basketball netting 27 within an alternative embodiment of the present invention. More specifically, the basketball netting 27 is linearly positioned in between the first decorative button 21 and the second decorative button 22. The basketball netting 27 is extended from the brim 1 to the heel counter embroidery 10 as the basketball netting 27 is centrally connected onto the left half 5 and the right half 6.

In reference to FIG. 4, the first decorative button 21 is connected onto the left half 5 through the heel counter embroidery 10. The first decorative button 21 is positioned adjacent to the first quarter panel embroidery 8, preferably within a rear left section of the left half 5. More specifically, the first decorative button 21 is a sewn-on emblem that matches and/or complements the designs of specific emblems of a basketball shoe. In the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the first decorative button 21 designates a specific number that is generally associated with a sport team or a player.

In reference to FIG. 5, the second decorative button 22 is connected onto the right half 6 through the heel counter embroidery 10. The second decorative button 22 is positioned adjacent to the second quarter panel embroidery 9, preferably within a rear right section of the right half 6. More specifically, the second decorative button 22 is a sewn-on emblem that matches and/or complements the designs of specific emblems of a basketball shoe. In the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the second decorative button 22 designates a specific number that is generally associated with a sport team or a player.

In reference to FIG. 1, the third decorative button 23 is connected onto a top surface 2 of the brim 1. More specifically, the third decorative button 23 is a sewn-on emblem that matches and/or complements the designs of specific emblems of a basketball shoe. In the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the third decorative button 23 designates a specific number that is generally associated with a sport team or a player.

The plurality of logos 15 is a tapestry member that is directly sewn on to the crown 3. The plurality of logos 15 comprises a first logo 16, a second logo 17, a third logo 18, and a fourth logo 19 as shown in FIG. 2-3. The plurality of logos 15 can display a numerical value, a word, or symbol to signify sporting events. For example, a jersey number of a professional athlete can be used as one of the plurality of logos 15. More specifically, the first logo 16 is positioned adjacent to the brim 1 and a front end 13 of the upper decoration 12. The first logo 16 is connected on the left half 5 and the right half 6, preferably behinds the upper decoration 12. For example, the first logo 16 can be a specific trademark logo that is used within the shoe industry. The second logo 17 is positioned adjacent to the heel counter embroidery 10 and a rear end 14 of the upper decoration 12. The second logo 17 is connected on the left half 5 and the right half 6, preferably behinds the upper decoration 12. For example, the second logo 17 can be similar to the first logo 16 wherein the second logo 17 is a specific trademark logo that is used within the shoe industry. The third logo 18 is horizontally extended from the left half 5 to the right half 6 as the third logo 18 is connected onto the heel counter embroidery 10. The third logo 18 is preferably a numerical value such as 23 or a jersey number of a professional athlete. The fourth logo 19 is vertically extended from the shoe sole embroidery 11 to the heel counter embroidery 10 as the fourth logo 19 is centrally positioned in between the third logo 18. As a result, the fourth logo 19 is connected onto the shoe sole embroidery 11 and the heel counter embroidery 10. The first logo 16 is preferably a sports related word such as jump, score, ball, hoop, and etc.

In another embodiment of the present invention, a net can fully or partially replace the crown 3. More specifically, the net resembles a basketball hoop-net that traverses and weaves in to the plurality of eyelets. In another embodiment of the present invention, the brim 1 and the crown 3 can delineate specific colors to resemble sports team color. In another embodiment of the present invention, a zipper can be integrated into a first openable layer and a second openable layer that is connected to the present invention, wherein the first openable layer and the second openable layer expose the third logo 18 and the fourth logo 19. In other words, the first openable layer and the second openable layer are an additional layer that covers the heel counter embroidery 10 and the third logo 18 and the fourth logo 19.

Although the invention has been explained in relation to its preferred embodiment, it is to be understood that many other possible modifications and variations can be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as hereinafter claimed.

Claims

1. A headwear apparatus that matches to a pair of shoes comprises:

a brim;
a crown;
a plurality of matching shoe embroideries;
a plurality of logos;
a plurality of decorative buttons;
an upper decoration;
the crown comprises a left half and a right half;
the plurality of matching shoe embroideries comprises a first quarter panel embroidery, a second quarter panel embroidery, a shoe sole embroidery, and a heel counter embroidery;
the plurality of decorative buttons comprises a first decorative button, a second decorative button, and a third decorative button;
the brim being symmetrically positioned to the left half and the right half;
the brim being terminally connected to the left half and the right half;
the plurality of matching shoe embroideries being perimetrically connected onto the crown;
the upper decoration being integrated onto the left half and the right half;
the first decorative button being connected onto the left half;
the second decorative button being connected onto the right half; and
the third decorative button being connected onto the brim.

2. The headwear apparatus that matches to a pair of shoes as claimed in claim 1 comprises:

the first quarter panel embroidery being positioned opposite of the second quarter panel embroidery;
the first quarter panel embroidery being extended in between the first decorative button and the brim; and
the first quarter panel embroidery being connected onto the left half.

3. The headwear apparatus that matches to a pair of shoes as claimed in claim 1 comprises:

the second quarter panel embroidery being positioned opposite of the first quarter panel embroidery;
the second quarter panel embroidery being extended in between the second decorative button and the brim; and
the second quarter panel embroidery being connected onto the right half.

4. The headwear apparatus that matches to a pair of shoes as claimed in claim 1 comprises:

the shoe sole embroidery being symmetrically positioned to the left half and the right half;
the shoe sole embroidery being extended along a bottom edge of the crown; and
the shoe sole embroidery being connected onto the left half and the right half.

5. The headwear apparatus that matches to a pair of shoes as claimed in claim 1 comprises:

the heel counter embroidery being symmetrically positioned to the left half and the right half;
the heel counter embroidery being positioned in between the first quarter panel embroidery, the second quarter panel embroidery, and the shoe sole embroidery; and
the heel counter embroidery being connected onto the left half and the right half.

6. The headwear apparatus that matches to a pair of shoes as claimed in claim 1 comprises:

the upper decoration comprises a shoelace, a plurality of left eyelets, and a plurality of right eyelets;
the plurality of left eyelets being linearly connected along the left half;
the plurality of right eyelets being linearly connected along the right half;
the plurality of left eyelets and the plurality of right eyelets being linearly positioned in between the first decorative button and the second decorative button;
the shoelace being decoratively traverses through the plurality of left eyelets and the plurality of right eyelets;
the shoelace being extended from the brim to the heel counter embroidery;
the shoelace being engaged with the left half through the plurality of left eyelets; and
the shoelace being engaged with the right half through the plurality of right eyelets.

7. The headwear apparatus that matches to a pair of shoes as claimed in claim 1 comprises:

the upper decoration comprises a basketball netting;
the basketball netting being linearly positioned in between the first decorative button and the second decorative button;
the basketball netting being extended from the brim to the heel counter embroidery; and
the basketball netting being connected onto the left half and the right half.

8. The headwear apparatus that matches to a pair of shoes as claimed in claim 1 comprises:

the first decorative button being connected onto the left half through the heel counter embroidery; and
the first decorative button being positioned adjacent to the first quarter panel embroidery.

9. The headwear apparatus that matches to a pair of shoes as claimed in claim 1 comprises:

the second decorative button being connected onto the right half through the heel counter embroidery; and
the second decorative button being positioned adjacent to the second quarter panel embroidery.

10. The headwear apparatus that matches to a pair of shoes as claimed in claim 1, wherein the third decorative button is connected onto a top surface of the brim.

11. The headwear apparatus that matches to a pair of shoes as claimed in claim 1 comprises:

the plurality of logos comprises a first logo;
the first logo being positioned adjacent to the brim;
the first logo being positioned adjacent to a front end of the upper decoration; and
the first logo being connected onto the left half and the right half.

12. The headwear apparatus that matches to a pair of shoes as claimed in claim 1 comprises:

the plurality of logos comprises a second logo;
the second logo being positioned adjacent to the heel counter embroidery;
the second logo being positioned adjacent to a rear end of the upper decoration; and
the second logo being connected onto the left half and the right half.

13. The headwear apparatus that matches to a pair of shoes as claimed in claim 1 comprises:

the plurality of logos comprises a third logo;
the third logo being horizontally extended from the left half to the right half; and
the third logo being connected onto the heel counter embroidery.

14. The headwear apparatus that matches to a pair of shoes as claimed in claim 1 comprises:

the plurality of logos comprises a third logo and a fourth logo;
the fourth logo being vertically extended from the shoe sole embroidery to the heel counter embroidery;
the fourth logo being centrally positioned in between the third logo; and
the fourth logo being connected onto the shoe sole embroidery and the heel counter embroidery.

15. The headwear apparatus that matches to a pair of shoes as claimed in claim 14, wherein the third logo is a numerical value.

16. The headwear apparatus that matches to a pair of shoes as claimed in claim 14, wherein the fourth logo is a sports related word.
