A toilet roll extender uses an existing toilet roll dispenser and repositions the toilet paper to a more reachable location.

The technology field is bathroom fixtures in particular, the technology field relates to toilet roll dispenser devices.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

When an existing bathroom toilet roll dispenser is mounted in a location too far behind a person seated on the toilet, thus making the toilet paper difficult to reach, it would be desirable to have a means of relocating the toilet paper without relocating the dispenser. Such a means would ideally utilize the existing dispenser, but functionally extend the toilet paper cylinder forward, putting the toilet paper in a more reachable location. The present toilet roll extender addresses this issue.

BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

A toilet roll extender uses an existing toilet roll dispenser and repositions the toilet paper to a more reachable location. Other features and advantages of this device will be apparent to those familiar with toilet roll dispensers from a careful reading of the Detailed Description accompanied by the drawings.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a simple embodiment of the present toilet roll extender with an inner cylinder having an internal spring (not shown), inner cylinder telescoping within an outer cylinder rigidly fixed to an offset rigidly fixed to an extension cylinder for use in repositioning the toilet paper.

This embodiment comprises inner cylinder 102 having tab 104 for use in pivotally mounting toilet roll extender on toilet roll dispenser (not shown), inner cylinder 102 having an internal spring (not shown), inner cylinder 102 telescoping within outer cylinder 106 having mounting tab 108 for use in pivotally mounting toilet roll extender on toilet roll dispenser (not shown), outer cylinder 106 rigidly fixed to offset 110 rigidly fixed to extension cylinder 112 having positioning tabs 114, 116 for use in positioning toilet paper (not shown).

FIG. 2 is a perspective view of a similar embodiment of the present toilet roll extender 202 mounted on a toilet roll dispenser 204 with toilet paper 206 mounted on toilet roll extender 202 in extended forward location.

It will be apparent to those knowledgeable about toilet roll dispensers that many modifications and substitutions can be made to the foregoing description of embodiments without departing from the scope and spirit of the present disclosure which is defined by the appended claims

Claims

1. A toilet roll extender, comprising:

(a) an inner cylinder having a tab for us in pivotally mounting said inner cylinder on a toilet roll dispenser, said inner cylinder having an internal spring;

(b) an outer cylinder having a mounting tab for use in pivotally mounting said outer cylinder on said toilet roll dispenser, said inner cylinder telescoping within said outer cylinder;

(c) an extension cylinder having a positioning tab for use in positioning toilet paper,

(d) an offset rigidly connected between said outer cylinder and said extension cylinder.
