WOVEN TEXTILE
The woven textile includes an upper layer, a lower layer, a binding thread, and a third braid. The upper layer and the lower layer include at least one first braid and at least one second braid respectively. The first and the second braids extend in a meandering way to form a plurality of hollow portions. The upper layer and the lower layer overlap to have plural overlapping portions aligned along the horizontal direction. Plural rows of said overlapping portions are arranged along the longitudinal direction. The binding thread fixes the overlapping portions in a same row together by weaving so that the upper layer and the lower layer are positioned. The third braid fixes the overlapping portions of a same row with the overlapping portions of an other same row by weaving so that a distance between said two rows of overlapping portions is restricted.
The present invention relates to a woven textile.
Description of the Prior ArtWoven textile is used widely. For example, clothes, shoes, and daily commodities are often made by woven textile. However, how the woven textile is woven, the material, and the design determine the characteristics of the woven textile.
Conventional woven textile is woven by a single thread. Thus, the process of weaving is complicated, and the structure is easy to break down. Besides, the thickness of the woven textile is difficult to be increased. To increase the thickness, wider thread is usually used, or the thread is woven more times. If wider thread is used, the woven textile may be too heavy. If the thread is woven more times, the process may be time-consuming, and the air-permeability is bad.
On the other hand, two sides of conventional woven textile are made of the same material to have the same color and the same design.
In addition, the woven textile woven in conventional ways cannot provide larger meshes. The mesh is usually enlarged by skipping so that the structure of the woven textile is weakened.
Besides, conventional woven textile is woven in a specific direction, so the woven textile may have too much flexibility in a perpendicular direction. Thus, the woven textile is easy to be out of shape.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTIONThe main object of the present invention is to provide a woven textile whose air permeability is improved. In addition, better elasticity is provided, and the woven textile is hard to become out of shape.
To achieve the above and other objects, a woven textile of the present invention has a first end and a second end. A longitudinal direction is defined by the first end and the second end. A horizontal direction is defined perpendicular to the longitudinal direction. The woven textile includes an upper layer, a lower layer, at least one binding thread, and at least one third braid.
The upper layer includes at least one first braid. The first braid is woven by a plurality of filaments and extends in a meandering way to form a plurality of hollow portions. The lower layer includes at least one second braid. The second braid is woven by a plurality of filaments and extends in a meandering way to form a plurality of hollow portions. The upper layer and the lower layer overlap to have a plurality of overlapping portions. The overlapping portions are aligned along the horizontal direction. A plurality of rows of said overlapping portions are arranged along the longitudinal direction. The binding thread fixes the overlapping portions at least in a same row together by weaving so that the upper layer and the lower layer are positioned by the binding thread. The third braid fixes at least one of the overlapping portions of a same row with at least one of the overlapping portions of an other same row by weaving so that a distance between said two rows of overlapping portions is restricted by the third braid.
Thus, the woven textile of the present invention has better elasticity and air-permeability, and is hard to become out of shape resulted by stretching.

The woven textile has a first end and a second end. A longitudinal direction is defined by the first end and the second end. The first braid 10 is woven by a plurality of filaments and extends in a meandering way to form a plurality of hollow portions. The lower layer includes at least one second braid 20. The second braid 20 is woven by a plurality of filaments and extends in a meandering way to form a plurality of hollow portions. The upper layer and the lower layer overlap to have a plurality of overlapping portions 30. The overlapping portions 30 are aligned along the horizontal direction. A plurality of rows of said overlapping portions 30 are arranged along the longitudinal direction. The binding thread 40 fixes the overlapping portions 30 at least in a same row together by weaving so that the upper layer and the lower layer are positioned by the binding thread 40. The third braid 50 fixes at least one of the overlapping portions 30 of a same row with at least one of the overlapping portions 30 of an other same row by weaving so that a distance between said two rows of overlapping portions 30 is restricted by the third braid 50.
Preferably, the upper layer includes a plurality of said first braids 10. The lower layer includes a plurality of said second braids 20. A plurality of said binding threads 40 and a plurality of said third braids 50 fix the upper layer and the lower layer together by weaving. More specifically, each of the first braids 10 and each of the second braids 20 extend wavily respectively. Crests and troughs of the first braid 10 and the second braid 20 in a same row are staggered. The overlapping portions 30 are formed at positions where the first braid 10 overlaps the second braid 20 in an adjacent row and positions where the second braid 20 overlaps the first braid 10 in an adjacent row. Area where the hollow portions of the upper layer overlap the hollow portions of the lower layer forms a plurality of through holes. Each through hole is surrounded by part of the first braid 10 and part of the second braid 20. Besides, each of the first braids 10, each of the second braids 20, and each of the third braids 30 are preferably woven by braiding.
Specifically, the third braid 50 can further extend along the longitudinal direction, or across several rows of the overlapping portions 30, extend horizontally, and then further extend longitudinally to form a step-shaped path. Practically, the path of the third braid 50 can be designed as different patterns under the premise that the distance between different rows of the overlapping portions 30 is restricted. In the present embodiment, the third braid 50 is woven with one row of the overlapping portions 30 and at least part of the binding thread 40 woven with said row of the overlapping portions 30, extends toward a direction, further woven with an other row of the overlapping portions 30 and at least part of the binding thread 40 woven with said row of the overlapping portions 30, and extends toward said direction so that the third braid 50 extends in step-shaped path and is fixed with the binding thread 40 parallel.
In the present embodiment, each of the first braids includes an outer layer and a core. The outer layer is woven by a plurality of filaments to be tube-shaped, and the core is inserted through the outer layer. Each of the second braids includes an outer layer and a core. The outer layer is woven by a plurality of filaments to be tube-shaped, and the core is inserted through the outer layer.
Thereby, the woven textile of the present invention has a three-layer structure composed of the upper layer, the lower layer, and the third braids. The flexibility of the woven textile in two perpendicular directions are restricted by the binding thread and the third braid respectively in order to maintain the size and the shape of the through holes. Thus, the woven textile may not become out of shape, and the flexibility is still sufficient. In addition, better air permeability and larger thickness can be achieved for manufacturing different products.
Claims
1. A woven textile, having a first end and a second end, a longitudinal direction being defined by the first end and the second end, a horizontal direction being defined perpendicular to the longitudinal direction, the woven textile including:
- an upper layer, including at least one first braid, the first braid being woven by a plurality of filaments and extending in a meandering way to form a plurality of hollow portions;
- a lower layer, including at least one second braid, the second braid being woven by a plurality of filaments and extending in a meandering way to form a plurality of hollow portions, the upper layer and the lower layer overlapping to have a plurality of overlapping portions, the overlapping portion being aligned along the horizontal direction, a plurality of rows of said overlapping portions being arranged along the longitudinal direction;
- at least one binding thread, fixing the overlapping portions at least in a same row together by weaving so that the upper layer and the lower layer are positioned by the binding thread;
- at least one third braid, the third braid fixing at least one of the overlapping portions of a same row with at least one of the overlapping portions of an other same row by weaving so that a distance between said two rows of overlapping portions is restricted by the third braid.
2. The woven textile of claim 1, wherein the upper layer includes a plurality of said first braids, the lower layer includes a plurality of said second braids, a plurality of said binding threads and a plurality of said third braids fix the upper layer and the lower layer together by weaving.

The woven textile of claim 2, wherein each of the first braids and each of the second braids extend wavily respectively, crests and troughs of the first braid and the second braid in a same row are staggered, the overlapping portions are formed at positions where the first braid overlaps the second braid in an adjacent row and positions where the second braid overlaps the first braid in an adjacent row.
4. The woven textile of claim 2, wherein each of the first braids, each of the second braids, and each of the third braids are woven by braiding.

The woven textile of claim 2, wherein each of the first braids includes an outer layer and a core, the outer layer is woven by a plurality of filaments to be tube-shaped, the core is inserted through the outer layer, each of the second braids includes an outer layer and a core, the outer layer is woven by a plurality of filaments to be tube-shaped, the core is inserted through the outer layer.
6. The woven textile of claim 1, wherein area where the hollow portions of the upper layer overlap the hollow portions of the lower layer forms a plurality of through holes, each through hole is surrounded by part of the first braid and part of the second braid.
7. The woven textile of claim 1, wherein the third braid is woven with one row of the overlapping portions and at least part of the binding thread woven with said row of the overlapping portions, extends toward a direction, further woven with an other row of the overlapping portions and at least part of the binding thread woven with said row of the overlapping portions, and extends toward said direction so that the third braid extends in step-shaped path.
