FIG. 1 is a structural schematic view of a bottom hem of a garment according to one embodiment;

FIG. 2 is a cross sectional schematic view along line A-A1 in FIG. 1; and

FIG. 3 is a top partial structural schematic view of a front piece of cloth and a dot glue layer.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION

According to the background, the comfort and aesthetics of existing garments need to be improved.

After analysis, the bottom hem of the existing garment usually has a two-piece structure, including a front piece of cloth and a rear piece of cloth. In order to avoid cloth edge fraying, in some designs, the cloth of the bottom hem is fold up and then sewn to form the bottom hem of the garment; in some designs, a sheet hot melt glue film is used to replace sewing threads to fix the front piece of cloth and the rear piece of cloth to form the bottom hem of the garment.

When the bottom hem of the garment is formed using the sheet glue film, the sheet glue film between the front piece of cloth and the rear piece of cloth is relatively thick, which result in a rigid bottom hem of the garment with a poor drape and softness, and hence a poor comfort of the corresponding garment. When the bottom hem of the garment is formed by sewing, the sewing threads used in the sewing will be exposed, which affects the aesthetics of the bottom hem of the garment.

To solve the above problems, the present disclosure provides a bottom hem of a garment, which has a good drape and softness, improves the comfort and avoids a damage to the appearance of the bottom hem of the garment.

In order to better understand the above purposes, features and advantages of the present disclosure, specific embodiments of the present disclosure will be explained in detail below with reference to the drawings.

FIG. 1 is a structural schematic view of a bottom hem of a garment according to one embodiment of the present disclosure. FIG. 2 is a cross sectional schematic view along line A-A1 in FIG. 1. FIG. 3 is a top partial structural schematic view of a front piece of cloth and a dot glue layer.

Referring to FIG. 1 and FIG. 2, the bottom hem 10 of the garment includes a front piece of cloth 101, a dot glue layer 104 and a rear piece of cloth 105. The front piece of cloth 101 has an outer side 102 and an inner side 103 that are opposite to each other, and the dot glue layer 104 is provided on the inner side 103 of the front piece of cloth 101. The rear piece of cloth 105 is adhered to the inner side 103 of the front piece of cloth 101, and the rear piece of cloth 105 is adhered to the front piece of cloth 101 by means of the dot glue layer 104.

It should be noted that, for an ease of illustration and description, the dot glue layer 104 on the inner side 103 of the front piece of cloth 101 is shown in FIG. 3.

Detailed descriptions are provided below with reference to the drawings.

In some embodiment, the front piece of cloth 101 may be woven cloth. In some embodiment, the front piece of cloth 101 may also be knitted cloth.

The inner side 103 refers to a surface to be adhered to the rear piece of cloth 105.

The dot glue layer 104 is used to adhere the rear piece of cloth 105 to the inner side 103 of the front piece of cloth 101.

In this embodiment, the dot glue layer 104 may be made of hot melt glue. The hot melt glue may be made of polyethylene, polyester, polyamide or polyurethane, or the hot melt glue may be made of a copolymer composed of at least two selected from a group consisting of polyethylene, polyester, polyamide and polyurethane.

The dot glue layer 104 may be transferred on the inner side 103 of the front piece of cloth 101 by rolling, coating or spraying; in some embodiment, the dot glue layer 104 may also be transferred on a surface of the rear piece of cloth 105 to be adhered to the inner side 103 of the front piece of cloth 101 by rolling, coating or spraying.

In some embodiment, the dot glue layer 104 includes a plurality of dot glue particles. The density of the dot glue particles should not be too low or too high. If the density of the dot glue particles is too high, the dot glue layer 104 may cause poor drape and softness of the bottom hem of the garment; and, if the density of the dot glue particles is too low, the bonding effect between the front piece of cloth 101 and the rear piece of cloth 105 is poor.

To this end, in some embodiment, the density of the dot glue particles is in the range of 1 particle/cm2 to 100 particles/cm2.

In some embodiment, the dot glue particles are uniformly distributed between the front piece of cloth 101 and the rear piece of cloth 105. Specifically, as shown in FIG. 3, the dot glue particles are arranged in an array between the front piece of cloth 101 and the rear piece of cloth 105. It should be noted that in this embodiment, the dot glue particles positioned between the front piece of cloth 101 and the rear piece of cloth 105 are arranged in a regular manner; in some embodiment, the dot glue particles positioned between the front piece of cloth and the rear piece of cloth may also be arranged in an irregular manner.

The dot glue layer 104 should not be too light or too heavy. If the dot glue layer 104 is too light, insufficient stickiness may be generated between the front piece of cloth 101 and the rear piece of cloth 105, which may cause the front piece of cloth 101 to be separated from the rear piece of cloth 105 easily; and, if the dot glue layer 104 is too heavy, the formed bottom hem 10 of the garment by adhering the front piece of cloth 101 and the rear piece of cloth 105 may be too thick, which may cause poor drape and softness to the bottom hem 10 of the garment, and the heavy weight of the bottom hem 10 of the garment is adverse to the comfort of wearing.

To this end, in some embodiment, the dot glue layer 104 has an area mass ranging from 1 g/m2 to 100 g/m2.

In some embodiment, the dot glue particles of the dot glue layer 104 may have a circular shape. In some embodiment, the dot glue particles of the dot glue layer may also have an elliptical or irregular shape.

The rear piece of cloth 105 may be woven cloth or knitted cloth.

In some embodiment, the front piece of cloth 101 and the rear piece of cloth 105 are made of two independent pieces of cloth. The front piece of cloth 101 and the rear piece of cloth 105 may be formed of a same material, or the front piece of cloth 101 and the rear piece of cloth 105 may be formed of different materials.

In other embodiments, the front piece of cloth and the rear piece of cloth may be made by folding a same piece of cloth. Accordingly, the front piece of cloth and the rear piece of cloth have an one-piece structure.

In some embodiment of the bottom hem 10 of the garment according to the present disclosure, the front piece of cloth 101 and the rear piece of cloth 105 are adhered together by the dot glue layer 104. While ensuring the good bonding performance between the front piece of cloth 101 and the rear piece of cloth 105, the bottom hem 10 of the garment formed has a good drape and softness, thus the bottom hem 10 of the garment has a more comfortable touch and avoids the exposure of the sewing threads, thereby improving the aesthetics.

The present disclosure further provides a garment. Referring to FIG. 1 to FIG. 3, the garment includes the bottom hem 10 of the garment. The bottom hem 10 of the garment includes the front piece of cloth 101, the dot glue layer 104 and the rear piece of cloth 105.

For a detailed description of the bottom hem 10 of the garment, reference may be made to the corresponding description of the foregoing embodiments, thus it is unnecessary to go into details here.

The garment further includes a garment body (not shown), and the garment body is connected to the bottom hem 10 of the garment.

The garment may be an upper garment, a lower garment or a skirt. For example, the garment may be a T-shirt, a shirt, a half-length skirt or a one-piece dress.

In some embodiment of the garment according to the present disclosure, the front piece of cloth and the rear piece of cloth of the bottom hem of the garment are adhered together by the dot glue layer, which makes a good drape and softness of the bottom hem of the garment, enhances the comfort of wearing the garment, and also achieves a natural and soft feel. Moreover, the sewing threads is avoided in the bottom hem of the garment, which makes it good in appearance.

Although the present disclosure has been disclosed as above, the present disclosure is not limited to this. The person skilled in the art may make various changes and modifications without departing from the spirit and scope of the present disclosure, thus the scope of protection of the present disclosure shall be defined by the attached claims.
