DETAILED DESCRIPTION

All FIGS. 1,2,3,5,6,7,8 show the two main embodiments of a mechanical wallet in various modes of operation. FIG. 1(A) The congruently spaced outer shell, receiver, top isometric view.

(A) being the “foundation” of the mechanism, Current described model is comprised of two 0.090 aluminum T6 plates, spaced by 6 aluminum standoffs (4), pressed into a Chicago type fastener (25), then fastened on the bottom side by a counter sunk flat head socket cap screw FIG. 2 (19). Both aforementioned fasteners are counter sunk, and current type used as a means to provide a smoother surface for seamlessly sliding in, and out of pockets, purses, and comfortability when being held as a clutch. It should be also considered that the unique design of said wallet/clutch lends it's self to be able to use a multiplicity of materials, that can be implemented in the manufacturing process, beyond the scope of materials currently described, so long as the tensile strength of such materials is deemed acceptable for mechanism to work properly, without “jamming”, or distorting.

The profile, and holes in the plates can be machined, stamped, or laser cut, or however is deemed necessary for cost efficiency. The complete outer profile of both congruently spaced plates, as well as the inside of both sides of the strap loops (18), is “corner rounded” for comfort, and sleekness. This particular process of corner rounding on both sides is machined with a special corner rounding bit.

Other notable embodiments of (A) include built in strap loops (18) cut through the lower end side of each plate, directly opposing on both sides, (18) is also designed to double as an emergency bottle opener. The strap loops are mainly configured for strapping to an alternate carryall, belt, backpack, or limb of the body for inconspicuous concealment, for the purpose of fashion, or security.

There are 3 congruent cutaways on (A). The first being the gripper area (21), in which there are cutaways on direct opposing sides. (21) is specially shaped to be gripped by the hand, typically held with the thumb and forefinger in order to “strike” in self defense, or clutch for single handed finger actuation of the internal cartridge (B) that typically secures, stacked credit/chip cards, keys, paper money, and various personal items described herein. The inherent design of (21) is positioned in such a mariner to create“MISF”, Maximum Impact Striking Force, in conjunction with the 7 Inch radius top area (9) which comes to 4 spaced striking edges (13). There is a small 0.035 radius on each edge for user safety, and to create a “stun” effect when deployed as a self defense device. The design, and positioning of (21) also lends it's self to the natural curve of the hand, which allows for concealment by over 80% of the hand, coupled with the 7 Inch radius that comes to a blunt edge(9), provides for an unrecognizable, but stifling self defense wallet/clutch. It should also be known that the congruency of said wallet/clutch and the striking edges are designed in a manner as to “stun”, as well as “mark” an assailant with a predetermined spacing for police identification, wherever assailant may be striked. (16) is the“finger actuation” cutaway, which when the internal cartridge (B) is secured inside of (A) allows for instant ejection when deployed with finger pressure via the spring loaded bearings (1).This also allows for instant one hand use, and ejection of the internal cartridge (B). Cutaway also helps negate unwanted ejections of the internal cartridge(B) by being specific to the finger's size and general diameter.

Internal cartridge (B) mates with outer congruent shell (A) via pressed in, counter sunk spring loaded bearings which follow tracks and stops (5,7) milled on the inside of both interiors of congruent outer shell (A). Stops (5) are positioned in a predetermined manner to allow for ejecting in intervals, in order to access aforementioned personal items, depending on the configuration preferred. (B) is comprised of, but not limited to a machinable plastic, and possibly an injection mold, or metal of desired preference. Other proprietary aspects of (B) are round cutaways (8) on the bottom side, which allow for user to discreetly push up, and access stacked credit, chip cards, in a manner for instant, controlled access of said cards. The inner tray (10) of eject-able cartridge (B) is the main area where different configurations, can be found, that can carry stacked personal items, such as, but not limited to keys, credit cards, business cards, folded paper money, storage drives, minimalist survival kits. Each of which can be swapped in conjunction with the same outer shell (A) to address different needs for different situations, and events where end user requires proprietary items to carry within.

In relation to internal mating cartridge (B), one of the premier embodiments of this mechanism wallet/clutch is the multiple spring loaded bearings (1) used to secure, and eject cartridge via various milled following tracks. It should also be known that the linear flat outer sides of internal cartridge (B) are guided by the standoffs (4), which also help determine the sliding action, whether tight, or loose in relation to ejecting, and securing cartridge (B). The preferred number of spring loaded bearings is 3 per side, top and bottom, mirrored on the “Y” (longest length) axis. This particular, but not limited to configuration keeps at least 3 spring loaded bearings (1) connected to (A) internally at all times, when inside, which aids in action, and stabillity of cartridge (B). (B) also employs two mirrored grabbers (3) to aid in pulling out (B), should it be necessary.

FIG. 2 is an isometric view of the bottom side of wallet/clutch, (A1) being the bottom side of the congruent outer shell, (B1) being the bottom side of the internal sliding cartridge showing the back side configuration of the spring loaded bearings. In relation to (A1), (12) shows the alternate integral, low profile money, and card clip for quick organization, and storage of paper money, or credit cards. The stainless steel clip is counter sunk (20) into the back plate flush, in order to achieve a sleeker, more pocketable device. (20) also shows the counter sunk, flat head socket cap screws, 4, used to secure and fasten money clip to device.

FIG. 3 is an isometric view of said wallet/clutch without the fastener hardware, and spring loaded bearings in order to show the necessary counter bores (24,2) utilized in order to make mechanisim eject properly (2), and pocket smoothly without snaging on interior pockets. It also shows the mid point of the internal cartridge, as related to the minimum opening required to use finger slot (8) to press up and access credit/business cards, or keys seamlessly.

FIG. 4 is an isometric top view, of the inside milled tracks (7), and stops (5) that help guide the spring loaded bearings into desired position when ejecting internal cartridge (B, B1). pictured are the current configurations used, but is not limited to a more refined version, in keeping with the scope of claims, defined. These tracks and stops are mirrored on the interior of both congruently spaced plates(D), and allow for total removal of internal cartridge (B, B1), as well as being able to recieve from any end of entry, as well as stop at 4 intervals as depicted. The middle tracks and stops, being offset in order to aid in stability, and re-entry of internal cartridge (B,B1).

FIG. 5 is a rear, side isometric view of said wallet/clutch with internal cartridge (B,B1) extended focusing on depicting the congruent spacing of outer shell (A) and the six standoffs utilized to form mechanism.

FIG. 6 is a top perspective view of said wallet/clutch depicted in it's most natural state, closed ready for utilization via the finger actuation slot (16) as internal cartridge (B,B1) is secure inside congruent housing (A, A1). All of the aformentioned symbols are present in relation to show various views of said invention,

FIG. 7 is a bottom perspective view of said wallet/clutch depicted in it's most natural state, closed ready for utilization (F) via the finger actuation slot (17) as internal cartridge (B,B1) is secure inside congruent housing (A, A1), All of the aformentioned symbols are present in relation to show various views of said invention. (19) depicting the counter sunk flat head socket caps utilized to fasten to Chicago type fastener, spaced by 2 congruent plates, and 6 offsets. (12) is another angle of view for the counter sunk minimalist, money/card clip. (9) depicting the 7 Inch reverse radius that aids in self defense as previously described.

FIG. 8 is a perspective side view of said wallet/clutch depicting it in it's extended, removed state. All of the aforementioned symbols are present in relation to show various views of said invention. Having shown and described a preferred embodiment of the invention, it would be apparent to those skilled in the art, that many variations and modifications may be made to affect the described invention and still be within the scope of the claimed invention.

Thus, many of the elements indicated above may be altered or replaced by different elements which will provide the same result and fall within the spirit of the claimed invention. It is the intention, therefore, to limit the invention only as indicated by the scope of the claims set forth.
