BACKGROUND OF INVENTION

I am a hairstylist, so I am always using hair tools. What I found missing in my industry was a cordless curling iron, for on location (movie sets, runway shows and for everyday use). So many times I haven't had a power source to plug my electrical tools into. This is where I came up with the idea of “umee1”. I needed a curling iron that was cordless with even heat distribution of the heat bars (barrels) and long usage time at high temperatures.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF “UMEE1”

“umee1” is a cordless curling iron with detachable heat bars (barrels)

“umee1” is charged with a fast charge system via USB it takes about 1.5 hours to charge, umee1 cordless curling iron has temperatures up to 450 Fahrenheit, the battery usage time can give up to 45 mins to 1 hours depending on the heat setting which can be changed via the heat dial located on the top portion of the curling iron. “Umee1” cordless curling iron has even heat distribution of the attachable heat bars.

I have designed 2 different heat bars (barrels), each heat bar creates a different curl. FIG. 1. Page 1 (b) one of the heat bars has 2 pronged barrels . FIG. 1 Page 1 (a) the other a single barrel (thicker bar) So depending the curl you desire you would choose which bar (barrel) is suitable to attach to my cordless base. My cordless detachable curling iron allows anyone to use anywhere without the use of electricity. Whether you are walking around the house curling your hair, on a train touching up your curls, on location on remote film sets without a proper outlet. “umee1” (cordless curling iron) has replaceable battery compartment to change the batteries when they exhaust their usage over many many usages. The heat setting of umee1 can reach 450 Fahrenheit in temperature adjusted with the heat dial from 0-45 F. It can be lowered to the preferred heat settings. This heat setting controls how hot the attachable barrels (bars) get in order to curl the hair. This is important for different textures of hair to enable the hair to curl. (some hair types are more resistant). For charging I'm using a fast charge system, around 1.5 hours for a full recharge. The full charge of “umee1” can give up to 45 mins to 1 hour of usage depending on the heat temperature set to. The hotter the settings the less usage. Vice a versa lower heat setting more usage time from the batteries before recharging.

Claims

1. Umee1 is a cordless, chargeable curling iron, via a usb and fast charge system. With even heat distribution of the heat connecting tubes/barrels. With a stationary handle portion with different shaped heat connecting tube/bars that attach and detach. The batteries are located in the handle portion, the batteries can be replaced and changed for new ones.
