Shelving Assembly
A shelving assembly for positioning on an outside corner includes a pair of plates and a plurality of panels. Each plate has an inner edge. The inner edges are coupled so that an inner surface of the first plates defines an inner corner. The inner corner is complementary to an outside corner of an element of a structure so that the pair of plates is configured to abut the element. Each panel is coupled to and extends perpendicularly from an outer surface of the pair of plates to define a perimeter of the panel. The panels are configured to position articles of a user.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION(1) Field of the Invention
(2) Description of Related Art Including Information Disclosed Under 37 CFR 1.97 and 1.98The disclosure and prior art relates to shelving assemblies and more particularly pertains to a new shelving assembly for positioning on an outside corner.
BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTIONAn embodiment of the disclosure meets the needs presented above by generally comprising a pair of plates and a plurality of panels.
There has thus been outlined, rather broadly, the more important features of the disclosure in order that the detailed description thereof that follows may be better understood, and in order that the present contribution to the art may be better appreciated. There are additional features of the disclosure that will be described hereinafter and which will form the subject matter of the claims appended hereto.
The objects of the disclosure, along with the various features of novelty which characterize the disclosure, are pointed out with particularity in the claims annexed to and forming a part of this disclosure.
The disclosure will be better understood and objects other than those set forth above will become apparent when consideration is given to the following detailed description thereof. Such description makes reference to the annexed drawings wherein:
With reference now to the drawings, and in particular to
As best illustrated in
The pair of plates 12 is configured to abut the element, as shown in
Each panel 20 is coupled to and extends perpendicularly from an outer surface 22 of the pair of plates 12, as shown in
Each perimeter 24 has a respective length so that the plurality of panels 20 comprises panels 20 that have perimeters 24 of a variety of lengths, as shown in
The plurality of medial panels 28 comprises one medial panel 28. The perimeter 24 of the top panel 26 extends between outer edges 36 of the plates 12. The perimeter 24 of the medial panel 28 is shorter than the perimeter 24 of the top panel 26. The perimeter 24 of the bottom panel 30 is shorter than the perimeter 24 of the medial panel 28. The panels 20 comprise wood, plastic, or the like.
In use, the pair of plates 12 is coupled to the outside corner of the element of the structure so that the panels 20 are configured to position the articles of the user.
With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of an embodiment enabled by the disclosure, to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, assembly and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one skilled in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed by an embodiment of the disclosure.
Therefore, the foregoing is considered as illustrative only of the principles of the disclosure. Further, since numerous modifications and changes will readily occur to those skilled in the art, it is not desired to limit the disclosure to the exact construction and operation shown and described, and accordingly, all suitable modifications and equivalents may be resorted to, falling within the scope of the disclosure. In this patent document, the word “comprising” is used in its non-limiting sense to mean that items following the word are included, but items not specifically mentioned are not excluded. A reference to an element by the indefinite article “a” does not exclude the possibility that more than one of the element is present, unless the context clearly requires that there be only one of the elements.

12. A shelving assembly comprising:
- a pair of plates, each plate having an inner edge, the inner edges being coupled such that an inner surface of said plates defines an inner corner wherein said plates are configured to be complementary to an outside corner of an element of a structure wherein the pair of plates is configured for abutting the element, the plates being coupled such that the inner corner is right angled, the plates being rectangularly shaped, the plates being equivalent to each other in size and shape, the plates comprising wood; and
- a plurality of panels, each panel being coupled to and extending perpendicularly from an outer surface of the pair of plates wherein the panels are configured for positioning articles of a user, each panel having a perimeter, the perimeter of each panel being arcuate, said perimeter of each panel having opposite ends, said opposite ends of said perimeter of each panel being positioned directly onto a respective one of said plates wherein each of said plates has a pair of straight uninterrupted outer lateral edges, at least one of said panels having said opposite ends of said perimeter positioned flush with said straight uninterrupted outer lateral edges and having said perimeter being curved such that said perimeter extends away from said plates and outwardly away from said inner corner, each perimeter having a respective length such that the plurality of panels comprises the panels having the perimeters of a variety of lengths, the plurality of panels comprising a top panel, a medial panel, and a bottom panel, the top panel being coupled proximate to an upper edge of the pair of plates, the bottom panel being coupled proximate to a lower edge of the pair of plates, the medial panel being positioned between the top panel and the bottom panel, the perimeter of the top panel extending between outer edges of the plates, the perimeter of the medial panel being shorter than the perimeter of the top panel, the perimeter of the bottom panel being shorter than the perimeter of the medial panel, the panels comprising wood.
