Description
BACKGROUND Technical Field of Invention

The embodiments herein generally relate to bags and particularly to bags for keeping cosmetics.

Description of Related Art

Skincare, hair care, make-up, perfumes, toiletries and deodorants, and oral cosmetics are the main product categories of the cosmetic market. Since the early twentieth century, the production of cosmetics and beauty products has been controlled by a handful of multi-national corporations—L'Oréal, Unilever, Procter & Gamble Co., The Estee Lauder Companies, Shiseido Company, to name a few. In 2016, the U.S. was considered the most valuable beauty and personal care market in the world, generating approximately 84 billion U.S. dollars in revenue that year.

As the makeup industry grows—so does the need for travel cases and makeup bags. There is an increased chance of damage done to make up or cosmetic items (and other fragile items) such as compact powders, lipsticks, etc. These damages happen because of sudden fall of the purse or bag or by any other kind of hit by any substance. While there are many makeup and accessory organizers and bags, the only ones that may prevent a breakage are too big, bulky and not convenient for travel or for day-to-day usage. Also, there bags are incapable of absorbing the shock caused by a hit or by a sudden fall on the floor.

Hence there is a need to develop a make-up bag or a cosmetics protective bag that prevents the breakage or damage of make-up kits and items, by sudden fall from a height.

The above-mentioned shortcomings, disadvantages and problems are addressed herein, as detailed below.

The interior or inner lining of the bag that covers the layers of shock absorbing material is made up of nylon, cotton or polyester. The makeup bag includes a zipper closure.

EPDM rubber (or ethylene propylene diene monomer rubber) is a type of synthetic elastomer rubber. EPDM rubber is a high-density rubber that is very durable and water resistant. EPDM rubber has excellent resistance to atmospheric aging which makes it heat, ozone and weather resistant. EPDM rubber has a good resistance to most water-based chemicals. EPDM rubber also has a great resistance to abrasives and tearing. EPDM rubber has stable, saturated polymer backbone structure which makes it a good shock absorbing material.

Neoprene (also polychloroprene or pc-rubber) is a family of synthetic rubbers that are produced by polymerization of chloroprene. Neoprene exhibits good chemical stability and maintains flexibility over a wide temperature range. Neoprene and EDPM are closed cell foams that are soft, flexible and durable form-fitting sponge rubber that provides good thermal and moisture insulation. Neoprene and EDPM are resistant to the ozone, sunlight, oxidation, many chemicals and petroleum derivatives. Neoprene and EDPM can resist breakdown by water and air and is able to be isolated by virtue of its unique molecular structure. Owing to these qualities, use of EDPM and neoprene makes the bag of the present invention shock proof

The exterior of the make-up bag varies as per the aesthetic look of the bag. The color and design is variable, similarly the interior look of the bag also varies. The interior and exterior of the make-up bag is made up of multiple designs, prints and colors.
