Description
FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to the field of office furniture, in particular to occupational disease prevention in an office, and is specifically a smart office chair with a ventilation function.

BACKGROUND

Office workers spend at least 8 hours sitting in an office chair every day. For most people, the number of times and accumulated duration of leaving the office chair during the 8 hours are little. Most of the existing office chairs have an integrally disposed cushion, which is soft and of a certain thickness. Therefore, if a person spends a long time of the day sitting in the office chair, the part where the buttocks and the cushion are in contact will be poorly ventilated, which can be a breeding ground for germs and lead to serious health threats.

For example, during summer, although air conditioners are usually turned on indoors, men or people who sweat a lot are still prone to sweating. Due to the non-breathable cushion and sweating, the buttocks and crotch area are moist and poorly ventilated, which can easily breed germs. For example, for female employees during their menstrual period, the poor ventilation in the buttocks and crotch area is more likely to enhance bacterial growth and affect their health, and women have weaker physical conditions during their menstrual period.

In the prior art, in order to achieve a ventilation function, many companies in the home furnishing or furniture industry, such as IKEA, have proposed a variety of office chairs with a ventilation function. The most common office chair with the ventilation function is typically made of plastic material. These chairs have a seat back, a chair leg and a seat. The seat is provided with a plurality of through-holes, so that when a person sits on the chair, the ventilation is relatively adequate. However, such chairs will be cold in winter and when the temperature is low, and thus less suitable for women in their menstrual period and people who cannot handle the cold.

For example, a patent titled “smart electric heating office chair” (patent number: CN201610819063.9; publication number: CN106388371A) also discloses an office chair with a smart heating function, the main purpose of which is to make users comfortable with smart heating. It targets the user's shoulders and neck, but does not involve the important ventilation function for the buttocks.

In summary, the existing office chairs designed with a ventilation function are mostly made of plastic or other materials, which are too hard for long-term use. Moreover, they are cold in winter, and thus not suitable for women in special periods such as menstrual period, or users whose buttocks cannot handle contact with cold objects. Other office chairs do not seem to have a ventilation function, especially a ventilation function for the buttocks, which means that the existing office chairs do not have a smart ventilation function.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION

The invention will now be described in further detail with reference to the drawings. The drawings are simplified schematic diagrams. The basic structure of the invention is illustrated merely in a schematic manner. Therefore, only the configurations related to the present invention are shown. The invention discloses a smart office chair with a ventilation function.

First Embodiment

FIG. 1 to FIG. 3 show a smart office chair with a ventilation function, which comprises a seat back 1, a seat 2 and a chair leg 3. The seat back 1 is fixedly connected to the seat 2. The seat 2 is provided with a chair leg 3 at the bottom. The seat 2 comprises a seat frame 21 and a second elastic article 22 wrapping around the seat frame 21. The second elastic article 22 of an upper surface of a middle portion of the seat 2 is provided with six first vent holes 221. The first vent hole 221 is provided therein with a third elastic article 222. The reason for disposing the first vent hole 221 on the second elastic article 22 of the upper surface of the middle portion of the seat 2 is that this position is typically where the human buttocks are in contact with the office chair. Disposing the first vent hole 221 at this position can achieve the ventilation function most effectively.

In this embodiment, the third elastic article 222 is disposed in the first vent hole 221 in an arrangement such that the third elastic article 222 is embedded within the first vent hole 221, the outer surface thereof in close contact with the inner surface of the first vent hole 221. The third elastic article 222 will fall or slide outward from the first vent hole 221 only when an external force is applied.

The seat frame 21 forms a receiving space. The receiving space comprises therein a circular plate 23. The circular plate 23 is provided thereon with a first groove 231. The position of the first groove 231 corresponds the position of the first vent hole 221. The first groove defines therein a vertical connector 232. The other end of the vertical connector 232 is fixedly connected to the third elastic article 222.

The seat frame 21 may have different designs according to the shape of the office chair, but in general, the seat frame 21 is rectangular. However, the seat frame 21 is merely some brackets fixedly connected together. If iron brackets are used as the seat frame 21, these brackets may be fixedly connected by welding, or through-holes may be provided on the bracket so that the brackets are fixedly connected together by bolts and nuts or by screws.

The numbers and positions of the first groove 231, the first vent hole 221, and the vertical connector 232 are corresponding, and therefore are six, such that the vertical connectors 232 can be connected to the circular plate 23 through the first groove 231, and can also be connected to the third elastic article 222. Specifically, the first vent hole 221 has a T-shaped cross section in the vertical direction and the third elastic article also has a T-shape. As such, the third elastic article 222 can be better embedded into the first vent hole 221 and will not protrude above the first vent hole 221, making users feel a foreign body sensation due to the protrusion. However, it is not limited to a T-shape, and may be of other shapes. The main purpose thereof is to prevent the third elastic article 222 from protruding out of the outer surface of the second elastic article 22, making the user uncomfortable.

The material of the third elastic article 222 may be the same as that of the second elastic article 22. The second elastic article 22 may be the elastic article of the office chair surface commonly found in the market. The details are not described herein. Of course, the third elastic article 222 may also be made of other materials, such as directly made from latex or rubber. More preferably, the outer jacket of the third elastic article 222 is provided with an elastic latex or silica gel, and is provided with an elastic protrusion. As such, the third elastic article 222 can be better embedded into the first vent hole 221. The end of the vertical connector 232 connected the circular plate 23 is provided with external threads. The first groove 231 is provided therein with internal threads matching the external threads. The vertical connector 232 and the first groove 231 are connected together by matching the internal threads and the external threads. As such, in case of failure of the office chair, especially when the vertical connector 232 is worn or damaged, the vertical connector 232 can be removed for maintenance, which is more convenient. The vertical connector 232 and the first groove 231 may be connected in other manners. For example, the vertical connector 232 may be T-shaped. The head end of the T shape is used for connection to the first groove 231. The first groove 231 is provided therein with at least two second connecting holes. The vertical connector 232 is fixed in the first groove 231 with screws. The number of the second connection holes is not limited, and is preferably two. More preferably, the other end of the vertical connector 232 has an arrow-shape, inserting into the middle of the third elastic article 222. The “arrow shape” means that the other end of the vertical connector 232 extends a connecting portion along a southwest direction and a southeast direction 45° respectively from its apex. The shape of this end is like an arrow. Inserting into the middle the third elastic article 222 in such manner can better connect the vertical connector 232 and the third elastic article 222 together. The vertical connector 232 is not easily detached from the third elastic article 222. The circular plate 23 is provided with a first connection hole at the center, connected to a first motor 24 through the first connection hole such that the circular plate 23 can move about an axis of the first motor. The first motor 24 is fixed on the seat frame 21. The first motor 24 may be a micro-motor, such as a planetary gear motor. The connection of the first connection hole 24 and the circular plate 23 through the first connection hole may be that an axis of the first motor 24 is connected to a connecting flange, and then the connecting flange is connected to the circular plate 23 by screws passing through the first connection hole. The connection manner may be different, depending on the connecting flange. Moreover, since the circular plate 23 is connected to the third elastic article 222 through the vertical connector 232, and the third elastic article 222 is in turn fixed in the first vent hole 221, the position of the circular plate 23 in the horizontal direction is defined. When the first motor 24 is operating, the rotation of its motor shaft will drive the circular plate 23 to move in the vertical direction along the motor shaft of the first motor 24.

A side of the circular plate 23 is provided with a second groove 233. The second groove 233 is provided therein with a wire rope 234. The wire rope 234 is a loop rope, which also loops around a side of a first pulley 25. The first pulley 25 is fixedly connected to the second motor 26. In other words, the operation of the second motor 26 will drive the first pulley 25 to rotate. The rotation of the first pulley 25 will drive the wire rope 234 to move. The movement of the wire rope 234 will drive the circular plate 23 to rotate. Since the third elastic article 222 connected to the circular plate 23 has come out of the first vent hole 221 at this time, the rotational movement of the circular plate 23 is no longer defined.

The office chair further comprises a power module 27. The power module 27 is connected to a controller 28, a temperature sensor 29, a humidity sensor 30, a fan 31 and a heating sheet 32 respectively. The temperature sensor 29 and the humidity sensor 30 are disposed in a side of the second elastic article 22 in contact with the human body. The fan 31 and the heating sheet 32 are disposed at an edge of the seat frame 21. The temperature sensor 29 and the humidity sensor 30 are disposed in the second elastic article 22 of an upper surface of the seat 2. As such, the temperature and humidity of user who is sitting can be better sensed. The information is then fed back to the controller, and the controller issues a corresponding command.

The smart office chair further comprises an indexing plate 33. The indexing plate 33 is connected to the second motor 26. The purpose of such arrangement is to make it convenient for the controller 28 to control the rotation angle of the circular plate 23, facilitating back rotation after the rotation.

Second Embodiment

The difference from the smart office chair in the first embodiment is that the number of the first vent hole 221 is one, the number of the third elastic article 222 is also one, the number of the first groove 231 is also one, and the number of vertical connector is also one.

In order to better achieve the ventilation function, the size of the one first vent hole 221 may be slightly larger, such as 5 cm in diameter.

In other words, the number of the first vent hole 221 is at least one, which may be six as described in the first embodiment, and may be three, five or ten. However, it should be considered comprehensively according to factors such as the area of the seat 2.

The advantages of the office chair of the first embodiment and the second embodiment are:

Compared with the prior art, the technical solution of the present invention has the following advantages:

According to their own situation, users can preset a temperature value and a humidity value regarding the temperature and humidity of the buttocks and the office chair which may make them uncomfortable.

After the user has sat on the office chair for some time, when the humidity sensor 30 and the temperature sensor 29 sense that the local temperature and humidity of the seat of the office chair used by the user exceed a preset value, the controller 28 will control the first motor 24 to operate, wherein the first motor 24 drives the circular plate 23 to move downward in the vertical direction, i.e. the direction in which the third elastic article comes out of the first vent hole 221, such that the vertical connector 232 brings the third elastic article 222 away from the first vent hole 221. At the same time, the controller 28 will control the second motor 26 to operate, wherein the second motor 26 drives the first pulley 25 to rotate, driving the circular plate 23 to rotate, such that a larger space is left near the first vent hole 221. At this time, the controller 28 will control the fan to operate. The inside and outside of the office chair form a good ventilation channel, taking away the temperature and humidity on the surface of the seat, especially the middle portion of the seat where the buttocks are located, keeping the buttocks ventilated and dry.

In winter, in an air-conditioned room in summer, or when women want the seat not to be cold, when the humidity sensor 30 and the temperature sensor 29 sense that the local temperature and humidity of the seat of the office chair used by the user exceed a preset value, the controller 28 will control the second motor 26 to operate, wherein the second motor 26 drives the first pulley 25 to rotate, driving the circular plate 23 to rotate, such that when the position of the third elastic article 222 corresponds to the first vent hole 221, the controller 28 will control the first motor 24 to operate. The first motor 24 will drive the circular plate 23 to move upward in the vertical direction, such that the vertical connector 232 inserts the third elastic article 222 into the first vent hole 221. At this time, the controller 28 controls the heating sheet 32 to heat up, warming up the chair. When the temperature sensor 29 senses that the preset temperature value is reached, the heating sheet 32 is turned off. At this time, the office chair is already warmed up.

Third Embodiment

Referring to FIG. 4, what is different from the first embodiment and the second embodiment is that the smart office chair of the present embodiment further comprises a second circular plate 34. The second circular plate 34 is provided with a third connection hole at the center, connected to the second motor 26 through the third connection hole. The second circular plate 34 is provided with a third groove 341. The third groove 341 is provided therein with a second vertical connector 342. The second vertical connector 342 is connected to the fourth elastic article 35. The fourth elastic article 35 is defined in a second vent hole. The second vent hole is disposed on a lower surface of the seat 2. A side of the second circular plate 34 is provided with a fourth groove 343. The fourth groove 343 is provided therein with a second wire rope 36. The other end of the second wire rope 36 loops around a second pulley 37. The second pulley 37 is fixedly connected to the first motor 24. The second motor 26 is connected to the controller 28.

The size of the second circular plate 34 may be the same as or different from that of the circular plate 23.

The size of the third groove 341 may be the same as or different from the size of the first groove 231. The numbers may be the same or different. The number of the first grooves 231 mainly depends on the number of the first vent hole 221. The number of the third groove 341 mainly depends on the number of the second vent hole.

The shape of the second vertical connector 342 may be the same as the shape of the first vertical connector 232, or may be arranged differently. Moreover, the shapes of different vertical connectors located on the same circular plate may be the same or different. Of course, for the convenience of processing and cost considerations, the shapes of vertical connectors 232 located on the same circular plate 23 are preferably the same and standardized. Preferably, the sizes and shapes of the same component are the same.

Similarly, the second motor 26 may be a micro-motor, such as a planetary gear motor, and may be the same as or different from the first motor 24. In addition, the second motor 26 may also be connected to a second indexing plate.

Compared with the prior art, the technical solution of the third embodiment has the following advantages:

The rotation of the first motor 24 can bring the third elastic article 222 away from the first vent hole 221 as described in the first embodiment and the second embodiment, and can also drive the second pulley 37. However, at this time, the second pulley 37 does not rotate. In the present invention, the rotation angle of the circular plate 23 is not too large. It is only intended to space apart the third elastic article 222 and the first vent hole 221, and the fourth elastic article 35 and the second vent hole to form a ventilation passage in the receiving space. Therefore, when the second motor 26 rotates and drives the circular plate 23 to rotate by a certain angle, the fourth elastic article 35 is detached from the second vent hole and rotates at the moment of detachment. As such, vent holes are provided in the upper and lower directions of the seat, enhancing ventilation.

In the description of the present invention, it should be understood that the terms “one end”, “end”, “length”, “the other end”, “both ends”, “vertical”, “upper”, “lower”, etc. are indicated based on the orientation or positional relationship shown in the drawings, which is merely for the convenience of the describing the invention and simplifying the description.
