Cycle Exercising Device that is Stored Easily and Conveniently and is Adapted to Function as Furniture
A cycle exercising device includes a base having an interior provided with a receiving space, and a cycle movement mechanism received in the receiving space of the base. The base has two open sides connected to the receiving space. The cycle movement mechanism is provided with two tread portions protruding outward from the two open sides of the base. The two tread portions are rotated along a circular path. Thus, the cycle exercising device is stored easily and conveniently when not in use. In addition, a cushion or an upright post is mounted on the top portion of the base, and a seat or a table board is mounted on the upright post.
The present invention relates to an exercising device and, more particularly, to a cycle exercising device.
2. Description of the Related ArtA conventional cycle exercising device, such as an indoor exercise bike or the like, comprises a frame, a cycle movement mechanism mounted on the frame, two pedals mounted on two sides of the cycle movement mechanism, an upright mounted on the front end of the frame, a handle mounted on the upright, and a seat mounted on the rear end of the frame. However, the conventional cycle exercising device has a determined volume and occupies a larger space, such that it cannot be stored easily, thereby greatly causing inconvenience to the user when not in use. In addition, the conventional cycle exercising device has an outstanding appearance that cannot mate with the indoor appliances of the house.
BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTIONThe primary objective of the present invention is to provide a cycle exercising device that is stored easily and conveniently and is adapted to function as furniture.
In accordance with the present invention, there is provided a cycle exercising device comprising a base having an interior provided with a receiving space, and a cycle movement mechanism received in the receiving space of the base. The base has two open sides connected to the receiving space. The cycle movement mechanism is provided with two tread portions protruding outward from the two open sides of the base. The two tread portions are rotated along a circular path.
Preferably, the receiving space of the base has a transverse length greater that of the cycle movement mechanism, with the cycle movement mechanism being movable forward or backward in the receiving space of the base.
Preferably, the cycle exercising device further comprises corresponding tracks mounted between the cycle movement mechanism and the receiving space of the base to guide movement of the cycle movement mechanism in the receiving space.
Preferably, the cycle exercising device further comprises a cushion mounted on the top portion of the base.
Preferably, the cycle exercising device further comprises an upright post mounted on the top portion of the base, and a seat mounted on the upright post.
Preferably, the cycle exercising device further comprises an upright post mounted on the top portion of the base, and a table board mounted on the upright post.
Preferably, the base is provided with an electronic instrument.
Preferably, the base has an open end connected to the receiving space, and the cycle movement mechanism is provided with a pull handle protruding outward from the open end of the base.
According to the primary advantage of the present invention, the cycle exercising device is stored when not in use, to largely reduce the space of storage.
According to another advantage of the present invention, the cycle exercising device is stored easily and conveniently, thereby facilitating the user storing the cycle exercising device.
According to a further advantage of the present invention, the cycle exercising device is changed into furniture of different types, thereby enhancing the diversity and utility thereof, and thereby increasing the amusement of life and exercise.
According to a further advantage of the present invention, the cycle exercising device is adapted to function as furniture, such that the cycle exercising device is incorporated into the house environment, thereby enhancing the aesthetic quality of the house.
Further benefits and advantages of the present invention will become apparent after a careful reading of the detailed description with appropriate reference to the accompanying drawings.
Referring to the drawings and initially to
The base 10 is provided with an electronic instrument 11. The base 10 has two open sides connected to the receiving space 12. The base 10 has an open end connected to the receiving space 12.
The cycle movement mechanism 20 is provided with two tread (or pedal) portions 21 protruding outward from the two open sides of the base 10.
