HIP SEAT BABY BAND

A hip seat baby band according to the present invention includes a main body configured to support a baby, a strap configured to be connected to the main body to allow the main body to be fixed on a user, a seat configured to be detachable from the main body and to support the baby, and a support unit configured to be detachable from the main body, to be extended to a lower side of the seat to support the seat to maintain a horizontal state, and to distribute a weight of the baby through a ground. In this way, the baby's posture is stably maintained, thereby protecting the baby's hip joint, as well as reducing the baby's load delivered to the user, thereby significantly reducing the fatigue of the user.

CROSS-REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATIONS

Priority to Korean patent application number 20-2018-0004021 filed on Aug. 29, 2018 is claimed and the entire disclosure of which is incorporated by reference herein.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION Field of the invention

The present invention relates to a hip seat baby band, and more particularly, to a hip seat baby band which is used to hold a baby or carry a baby a person's back.

Related Art

In general, a baby band is a band which is used as a substitute for a baby blanket which is used to hold a baby or carry the baby on a user's back, and is generally configured to support the baby through shoulder straps. Such a baby band has an advantage of making it easier to hold a baby or carry the baby on the user's back by bringing the baby close to the back or waist of the user. In particular, the hip seat baby band prevents the baby from sagging so that the user wearing the baby band can hold the baby or carry the baby on the user's back stably.

The prior art for such a hip seat baby band is disclosed in Korean Patent No. 10-1272144 (hip seat baby band, May 31, 2013). The registered patent is characterized in that it includes a hip seat unit for supporting a baby's hips and back. According to the registered patent, a user of a hip seat baby band allows the user to stably hold a baby or carry the baby on the user's back.

However, when using the conventional hip seat baby band, the baby should seat in a posture that two legs are placed very close to each other. Such a posture has a problem that a force is applied to the hip joint of the baby, which may cause hip dislocation and hip dysplasia in the baby.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

An object of the present invention is to provide a hip seat baby band that allows a baby seated on the hip seat to maintain a stable posture.

A hip seat baby band according to the present invention includes a main body configured to support a baby, a strap configured to be connected to the main body to allow the main body to be fixed on a user, a seat configured to be detachable from the main body and to support the baby, and a support unit configured to be detachable from the main body, to be extended to a lower side of the seat to support the seat to maintain a horizontal state, and to distribute a weight of the baby through a ground.

The seat may include a first plate for supporting hips of the baby and a second plate for supporting a back portion of the baby and being provided to be tiltable with respect to the first plate, and the support unit may be connected to the first plate.

The seat may further include a third plate, at least a part of which is inserted into the second plate, and which is provided to be protrudable from the second plate to support shoulders and a head of the baby, and the second plate may be geared with the third plate to fix a protruded position of the second plate.

The support unit may be connected to the first plate and include a support frame extended toward a rear portion from the first plate and a transfer roller connected to a lower portion of the support frame, and the support frame may include a first support frame which is connected to a lower portion of the first plate and a second support frame which is connected to the first support frame, slides, and allows a length of the support frame to be adjusted.

The support unit may allow an upper surface of the first plate to maintain a horizontal state to thereby allow two legs of the baby riding the first plate to maintain an “M” shape.

The support unit may allow an upper surface of the first plate to maintain a horizontal state and allow the weight of the baby to be distributed through the ground when the baby lies down while riding the seat.

The support unit may allow an upper surface of the first plate to maintain a horizontal state, and the baby may ride the first plate while maintaining angles of 90 to 120 degrees between the baby's hip joint and the baby's two legs, respectively.

The support unit may allow an upper surface of the first plate to maintain a horizontal state, and when the baby rides the first plate and is supported by the user, two legs of the baby may be spread to both sides and both knees of the baby may be positioned at a height adjacent to hips of the baby.

The first plate and the second plate may be provided separately and connected to each other in a tiltable manner.

The second plate may extend from the first plate and may be flipped from the first plate according to a posture of the baby.

The hip seat baby band may further include a length adjusting unit provided on the strap or the main body to adjust a length of the strap.

The length adjusting unit may be provided as a boa closure system.

The length adjusting unit may include a wire wrapped or coated in a material having a flexible exposed portion.

The length adjusting unit may be provided at a position where both hands of the baby are difficult to approach the length adjusting unit when the user supports the baby.

The length adjusting unit may be provided at a back portion of the baby.

DESCRIPTION OF EXEMPLARY EMBODIMENTS

Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. However, the present embodiment is not limited to the embodiments disclosed below, but can be implemented in various forms, and only this embodiment is to make the disclosure of the present invention complete and is provided to completely inform one of ordinary skill in the art of the scope of the invention. Shapes of elements in the drawings may be exaggerated for more clear description, and the element denoted by the same reference numeral in the drawings means the same element.

FIG. 1 is a perspective view schematically showing a hip seat baby band according to the present embodiment, and FIG. 2A is a configuration diagram schematically showing the main body of the hip seat baby band according to the present embodiment. And FIG. 2B is a configuration diagram schematically showing the main body of the hip seat baby band according to another embodiment.

As shown in FIGS. 1, 2A and 2B, a hip seat baby band 100 (hereinafter, referred to as a baby band) according to the present embodiment includes a main body 110.

The main body 110 allows a baby 30 to be supported by a user wearing the hip seat baby band 100. Here, the main body 110 may be made of a flexible material such as fiber. And the main body 110 may be formed in a structure that supports the back and hip portion of the baby 30. That is, the main body 110 may be provided to include a first support area 111 supporting the back of the baby 30 and a second support area 112 supporting the hip portion of the baby 30.

In addition, the main body 110 may be supported on the user by the strap 113.

For example, the strap 113 may be provided in a form that can be carried on both shoulders of the user 10. Alternatively, the strap 113 may be provided in a form that can be carried on the shoulder and waist of the user 10. Here, the strap 113 may be provided so that the length is variable according to the body structure of the user 10 and the environment.

To this end, the main body 110 is provided with a length adjusting unit 120.

The length adjusting unit 120 may be provided as a boa closure system. The length adjusting unit 120 operates a reel linked to a dial-lock that performs an operation function. Accordingly, the length adjusting unit 120 allows the length of the strap 113 to be varied according to the expansion and contraction of the steel wire wound on the reel.

That is, the length adjusting unit 120 connects the strap 113 and the main body 110 with a wire so that the length of the strap 113 is adjusted according to the length adjustment of the wire from the reel. In this case, the length adjusting unit 120 may prevent a safety problem that may occur as the wire is exposed to the outside. Thus, the length adjusting unit 120 may be provided in a state in which the exposed portion of the wire is wrapped in a flexible material or may be provided in a coated state. Accordingly, the user 10 may stably support the baby 30 by adjusting the length adjusting unit 120 according to the body structure and the environment and the posture of the baby 30.

The length adjusting 120 may be mounted on the outer surface of the first support area 111 in which the dial-lock supports the back portion of the baby 30 (see FIG. 2A). Alternatively, the length adjusting unit 120 may be mounted on the dial-lock strap 113 so that the dial-lock is positioned at the rear region of the shoulder 10 of the user 10 when the user 10 supports the baby 30 (see FIG. 2B).

Thus, the length adjusting unit 120 is provided in a position where both hands of the baby 30 are hard to approach the dial-lock when the user 10 supports the baby 30. Therefore, the length adjusting unit 120 has an advantage of preventing the safety accidents such as falling of the baby by preventing the length of the strap 113 is inappropriately adjusted by the approach of the baby 30 in the baby 30 riding the baby band 100.

Meanwhile, a seat 130 is mounted on the main body 110. The seat 130 may be formed of an elastic body of a solid material. Further, the seat 130 may be covered with a cushion that can be made of a rubber, cotton, sponge, etc. on the surface for improving the warmth and comfort. The seat 130 is provided detachably to the main body 110. Here, the seat 130 may be mounted on the main body 110 by a combination of a Velcro or a strap and a fixed clip.

Here, the seat 130 may include a first plate 131 for supporting the hip of the baby 30, a second plate 132 for supporting the back portion of the baby 30, and a third plate 133 for supporting the shoulder and back of the baby 30.

First, the first plate 131 is connected to the second support area 112 to be parallel to the ground.

The second plate 132 is connected to the first support area 111 so as to be tiltable with respect to the first plate 131. Accordingly, the second plate 132 may have an angle changed according to the posture of the baby 30 in the seat 130. That is, the second plate 132 may be provided separately from the first plate 131 and may be supported by the main body 110. In addition, the second plate 132 may alternatively be extended from the first plate 131 and be bent from the first plate according to the posture of the baby 30.

The third plate 133 maintains a state in which at least a portion of the third plate 133 is inserted into the second plate 132, and is provided to protrude from the second plate 132.

The third plate 133 may usually maintain the state that is inserted into the second plate 132, and when the third plate 131 supports the shoulder and head of the baby 30, it may be protruded from the second plate 132 by the user 10. Here, the second and third plates 132 and 133 may be coupled to each other such that the third plate 133 protrudes from and is inserted into the second plate 132 and maintains a set height. However, this is for explaining the present embodiment, and the connection of the second and third plates 132 and 133 may be variously changed.

Meanwhile, the seat 130 may be supported by a support unit 140 connected to the main body 110. The support unit 140 may include a support frame 141 and a transfer roller 142.

The support frame 141 may include first and second support frames 141a and 141b.

The first support frame 141a may be connected to the lower portion of the seat 130. In this case, the first support frame 141a may be detachably provided to the main body 110 and extend from the main body 110 to a predetermined length. The first support frame 141a may have a hollow into which the second support frame 141b is inserted. At least a portion of the second support frame 141b is inserted into the hollow of the first support frame 141a and may slide in a vertical direction from the lower side of the first support frame 141a.

In addition, a restraining member (not shown) is provided between the first and second support frames 141a and 141b to restrain the sliding of the second support frame 141b, so that the overall length of the support frame 141 determined by the sliding of the second support frame 141b may be maintained. Here, the restraining member is known in the art so that the detailed description thereof is omitted.

And the transfer roller 142 is connected to the lower end of the second support frame 141b. The transfer roller 142 allows the main body 110 to be transferred in a state of being supported on the ground according to the walking of the user 10. Here, the transfer roller 142 may be composed of a ball-shaped roller for the smooth transfer of the support unit 140. Thus, the transfer roller 142 guides the transfer of the baby band 100 in accordance with the movement of the user 10, and the weight of the baby 30 is distributed to the ground through the support unit 140.

In addition, the support frame 141 may be provided with a buffer member (not shown). The buffer member may relieve a shock that may be transmitted to the baby 30 according to the transfer of the support unit 140.

On the other hand, the support unit 140 allows the upper surface of the seat 130 disposed on the upper side to maintain a state that is parallel to the ground, that is, a horizontal state. Thus, the baby 30 may maintain the shape of the leg “M” when riding the seat 130.

FIG. 3A is a view showing a situation when riding the baby band according to the present embodiment, FIG. 3B is a view showing a situation when riding a conventional baby band.

As shown in FIGS. 3A and 3B, the baby 30 in the baby band 100 according to the present embodiment may maintain the “M” shape of both legs according to the support unit 140 for maintaining the upper surface of the seat 130 in parallel. That is, when riding the baby band 100, the baby 30 has the legs open to both sides, and both knees have a height similar to that of the hips. Thus, the hip joint of the baby 30 maintains an angle of 90 to 120 degrees with both legs, and can significantly reduce the stress applied to the hip joint (see FIG. 3A).

However, two legs of the baby 30 riding a conventional baby band maintain the shape of “11”, not the shape of “M”. That is, the conventional baby band is arranged so that the seat for supporting the baby 30 has an inclination of about 30 degrees, so that the baby 30 rides the baby band 100 in a form in which the baby 30 is inclined toward the user 10.

Thus, the conventional baby band may cause discomfort in the baby 30 and may transmit significant stress to the hip joint of the baby 30. That is, when the baby 30 rides the baby band 100 in a “11” shape, hip dislocation and hip dysplasia may occur in the baby 30, and problems in growth development may occur.

However, as described above, the baby band 100 improves the riding state of the baby 30. At the same time, the support unit 140 maintains the sheet 130 in a parallel state even when the user 10 is moving. Thus, even if the user 10 not only maintains an upright posture but also moves, the form of the legs of the baby 30 is maintained as “M” shape, and the stress transmitted to the baby 30 may be significantly reduced.

In addition, in the case of a conventional baby band, the baby 30 is in close contact with the user 10. Thus, the conventional baby band may rub against the skin of the baby (30). And conventional baby bands may cause skin diseases such as a heat rash due to problems such as insufficient ventilation. In particular, in the case of boys, testicles should be kept below body temperature. However, in the conventional baby band, the groin is in close contact with the user 10 due to the posture of the baby 30 being in close contact with the user 10. Accordingly, the conventional baby band may cause a problem in the testicle of the baby 30.

In addition, the seat 140 of the baby band 100 maintains the sheet 130 in a parallel state. Thus, the baby band 100 may allow the area size of the first plate 131 to be greater than that of a conventional seat. Accordingly, the baby band 100 may provide a comfortable riding environment for the baby 30. In addition, the weight of the baby 30 is applied in the direction of the ground rather than the user 10. Thus, the baby 30 may stably ride the baby band 100 without being in close contact with the user 10. Therefore, baby band 100 may be free from problems such as skin diseases.

Hereinafter, an embodiment of wearing a baby band according to the present embodiment will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. However, the detailed description of the components described above will be omitted, the same reference numerals will be used to indicate the same components.

FIG. 4 is a conceptual view schematically showing a first riding state of the hip seat baby band according to the present embodiment, and FIG. 5 is a conceptual view schematically showing a second riding state of the hip seat baby band according to the present embodiment.

As shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, the user 10 may allow the baby 30 ride the baby band 100 and hold the baby 30.

At this time, the baby 30 may maintain a sitting posture as shown in FIG. 4. Here, the legs of the baby 30 may maintain the “M” shape according to the seat 130 which maintains the horizontal state by the support unit 140. In addition, the baby 30 is not in close contact with the user 10 even in a state of riding on the seat 130. Thus, the weight of the baby 30 is distributed to the ground rather than the user 10 through the support unit 140. Therefore, the user 10 feels a relatively low feeling of fatigue even when holding the baby or moving for a long time, compared with when using a conventional baby band.

In addition, when the baby 30 feels uncomfortable in the sitting position or falls asleep, the user 10 can bend the second plate 132 back to allow the baby 30 to have a lying posture as shown in FIG. 5. At this time, the user 10 may support the third plate 133 from the second plate 132 to support the shoulder and head of the baby 30. Thus, the baby 30 may lie on the baby band 100 in a more comfortable posture. In addition, even when the baby 30 is lying on the baby band 100, the weight of the baby 30 is distributed to the ground through the support unit 140. Thus, the user 10 can hold the baby with a relatively small force compared to the sitting posture of the baby 30.

In addition, the user 10 may raise the legs of the baby 30 to the belly of the user 10 as the baby band stably supports the baby 30. Thus, as the legs of the baby 30 are not jiggled, a sense of stability is ensured and the baby 30 can take a perfectly comfortable posture as in the fetus.

Further, according to the present embodiment, an example that the user 10 holds the baby 30 in the chest using the baby band 100 is illustrated. However, this is for explaining the present embodiment, and the user 10 can carry the baby 30 on the user's back using the baby band 100.

As described above, the hip seat baby band according to the present invention can stably maintain the baby's posture, thereby protecting the baby's hip joint and significantly reducing the baby's load transmitted to the user, thereby significantly reducing the fatigue of the user.

An embodiment of the present invention described above and illustrated in the drawings should not be construed as limiting the technical spirit of the present invention. The scope of protection of the present invention is limited only by the matters described in the claims, and those skilled in the art can change the technical idea of the present invention in various forms. Therefore, such improvements and modifications will fall within the scope of protection of the present invention as long as it will be apparent to those skilled in the art.

Claims

1. A hip seat baby band comprising:

a main body configured to support a baby;
a strap configured to be connected to the main body to allow the main body to be fixed on a user;
a seat configured to be detachable from the main body and to support the baby; and
a support unit configured to be detachable from the main body, to be extended to a lower side of the seat to support the seat to maintain a horizontal state, and to distribute a weight of the baby through a ground.

2. The hip seat baby band of claim 1, wherein the seat comprises a first plate for supporting hips of the baby and a second plate for supporting a back portion of the baby and being provided to be tiltable with respect to the first plate, and

wherein the support unit is connected to the first plate.

3. The hip seat baby band of claim 2, wherein the seat further comprises a third plate, at least a part of which is inserted into the second plate, and which is provided to be protrudable from the second plate to support shoulders and a head of the baby, and

wherein the second plate is geared with the third plate to fix a protruded position of the second plate.

4. The hip seat baby band of claim 2, wherein the support unit is connected to the first plate and includes a support frame extended toward a rear portion from the first plate and a transfer roller connected to a lower portion of the support frame, and

wherein the support frame includes a first support frame which is connected to a lower portion of the first plate and a second support frame which is connected to the first support frame, slides, and allows a length of the support frame to be adjusted.

5. The hip seat baby band of claim 2, wherein the support unit allows an upper surface of the first plate to maintain a horizontal state to thereby allow two legs of the baby riding the first plate to maintain an “M” shape.

6. The hip seat baby band of claim 2, wherein the support unit allows an upper surface of the first plate to maintain a horizontal state and allows the weight of the baby to be distributed through the ground when the baby lies down while riding the seat.

7. The hip seat baby band of claim 2, wherein the support unit allows an upper surface of the first plate to maintain a horizontal state, and

wherein the baby rides the first plate while maintaining angles of 90 to 120 degrees between the baby's hip joint and the baby's two legs, respectively.

8. The hip seat baby band of claim 2, wherein the support unit allows an upper surface of the first plate to maintain a horizontal state, and

wherein when the baby rides the first plate and is supported by the user, two legs of the baby are spread to both sides and both knees of the baby are positioned at a height adjacent to hips of the baby.

9. The hip seat baby band of claim 2, wherein the first plate and the second plate are provided separately and connected to each other in a tiltable manner.

10. The hip seat baby band of claim 2, wherein the second plate extends from the first plate and is flipped from the first plate according to a posture of the baby.

11. The hip seat baby band of claim 1, further comprising a length adjusting unit provided on the strap or the main body to adjust a length of the strap.

12. The hip seat baby band of claim 11, wherein the length adjusting unit is provided as a boa closure system.

13. The hip seat baby band of claim 11, wherein the length adjusting unit includes a wire wrapped or coated in a material having a flexible exposed portion.

14. The hip seat baby band of claim 11, wherein the length adjusting unit is provided at a position where both hands of the baby are difficult to approach the length adjusting unit when the user supports the baby.

15. The hip seat baby band of claim 11, wherein the length adjusting unit is provided at a back portion of the baby.
