COLLAPSIBLE FOLDABLE STORAGE BAG

A folding storage package, comprising an upper cover and an outsourced body, an upper cover and an outsourced body are combined by a top cover zipper, wherein the inner bottom surface of the outsourcing body is fixed with foldable hanging bag, the front opening of the hanging bag, and the left and right sides of the hanging bag top are respectively provided with a pair of left and right. The utility model has the advantages that in the suspended state, the temporary storage space can be increased by hanging the bag, easy to arrange and the daily use of clothing, in the folding state, can be easily transported, while in the folding state through the buckle, press the folded bag, the effective use of storage space. A removable laundry section allows for storage and transportation of clothing to be cleaned.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION Field of the Invention

This invention relates to improvements in a collapsible folding storage bag. More particularly the collapsible folding storage bag is mainly used in the field of household items and can be used as a travel bag.

Many people need additional storage for clothing or other articles. The needs for storage can expand slowly or quickly over time. Because of the increasing demand there are different kinds of folding storage products that provide nearly endless options for storing clothing. Travel bags can also be used to store general household items and can be used to store a variety of carry-on items in a convenient and easily transportable and easily expandable container.

A number of patents and or publications have been made to address these issues. Exemplary examples of patents and or publication that try to address this/these problem(s) are identified and discussed below.

U.S. Pat. No. 6,896,341 was issued on May 24, 2005 to Michel Cattoire and is titled Storage Assembly with Adaptable Double Hanging Closet. This patent discloses a storage assembly with an expandable double hanging closet includes: at least two lower horizontal bars forming a shoe-holder; at least an intermediate horizontal hanging closet bar, arranged substantially midway between the upper bar and the lower bars to hang short garments, and a vertical and mobile partition.

U.S. Pat. No. 7,293,635 was issued on Nov. 13, 2007 to Mary E. Repke et al., and is titled Business Travel Bag. This patent discloses a travel bag for organizing computer and other items has a computer compartment that includes pockets for small items and a dual-entry pocket. Flat pockets are provided on two large sides of the dual-entry pocket. An opening on the outer body of the bag provides access to contents of the dual-entry pocket and flat pockets.

China patent CN205492871 was issued on Aug. 24, 2016 for Song Xiaowei and the title is machine translated as But Collecting Bag is Folded to Suspension Type. This patent discloses an expandable bag that has a zippered upper cover with side and bottom surfaces that can be accordion folded and the bag can be hung from hooks. The bag has a front-end opening for storage.

What is needed is a foldable storage bag with a pants hanger, removable laundry section, and back pockets. The collapsible and foldable storage bag in this document provides the solution.

BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

It is an object of the collapsible and foldable storage bag to provide a collapsible folding storage bag, that can be suspended to increase temporary storage space. The collapsible and foldable storage bag is easy to organize for daily access to clothing, is efficient to use the various storage spaces and is easy to carry. The top of the upper cover is provided with a handle to facilitate carrying and moving the bag.

It is an object of the collapsible and foldable storage bag to include an upper cover on an outer body. The upper cover and the outer body have a cover zipper where the inside of the outer body is fixed on a foldable frame with front end openings. The bag can be supported on a closet rod with a pair of hooks.

It is another object of the collapsible and foldable storage bag to have a front opening storage space that is expandable. The hanging bag has at least one layer of horizontal baffle, divider or shelf, so that the hanging bag has at least two storage spaces. The top surface of the hanging bag has at least one storage bag, which can be used for storing smaller items.

It is another object of the collapsible and foldable storage bag that when the bag is folded a zipper in the outer body gives access to the interior through the zipper that covers in the front and lid closures. Access to the upper cover and the outer body is through the lid zipper closure. When the bag is turned upside-down the bottom of the storage bag can be accessed.

It is still another object of the collapsible and foldable storage bag to include a pair of front and rear buckles where the length of the buckles can be adjusted to accommodate the amount of clothing or other items in the storage bag. The straps on the buckles can be synched to reduce the overall compressed height.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

It will be readily understood that the components of the present invention, as generally described and illustrated in the drawings herein, could be arranged and designed in a wide variety of different configurations. Thus, the following more detailed description of the embodiments of the system and method of the present invention, as represented in the drawings, is not intended to limit the scope of the invention, but is merely representative of various embodiments of the invention. The illustrated embodiments of the invention will be best understood by reference to the drawings, wherein like parts are designated by like numerals throughout.

FIG. 1 shows the collapsible folding storage bag in a closed and folded mode that is similar to a common travel bag of suitcase with a top handle 28 on the top cover 22. A top cover zipper 23 surrounds the top cover 22 and a front zipper 24 is shown mid position on the outer body 21. The use of the collapsible folding storage bag in a folding mode has two pairs of buckles 71, 72, 73, 74 that fold when the hanging bag 25 is pressed in the outer body 21 on the bottom surface to play an effective role in using the original storage space. In the folded orientation the two pairs of buckles 71, 72, 73, 74 are folded after the hanging bag 25 is pressed in the outer body 21 inside the bottom surface, the outer body 21 inside and outside the flip to reverse the upper cover 22 when the upper cover zipper 23 is closed. When upper cover 22 is closes the upper cover zipper 23, can be transported with the handle 28 and can be used as a travel bag.

FIG. 2 shows the collapsible folding storage bag with the top cover 22 unzipped and partially opened with the left buckle halves 71/72 and the right buckle halves 73/74 fastened. Left hook 61 and right hook 62 are shown secured to the respective buckle straps.

In this configuration the storage bag can be used to form a closed storage space through the top cover zipper 23 opening and closing, with the hanging bag 25 below, to form a closed storage space through the top cover zipper 23 closure is suitable for the case without the hanging space. The storage bag can now be rotated or inverted so the top cover 22 is in the bottom as shown in the next figure.

FIG. 4 shows the collapsible folding storage bag inverted with the top cover 22 hanging from the bottom of the outer body 21 bag. In this figure, a series of partitions, dividers or shelfs 51 and 52 are being held closed by the left buckle halves 71/72 and the right buckle halves 73/74. Left hook 61 and right hook 62 are shown secured to the respective straps. When the left buckle halves 71/72 and the right buckle halves 73/74 are unlatched the partitions, dividers or shelfs 51 and 52 can expand as shown in the following figure. While two sets of partitions or shelfs 51 and 52 are shown and described there can be as few as a single partition to more than two partitions or shelfs 51/52.

FIG. 5 shows the inverted collapsible folding storage bag in a suspended mode with the hooks 61/62 extending above the outer body 21 of the bag and the bag being expanded or completely expanded and shown in the next figure. In this figure, the hanging bag 25 is shown after the expansion, by hanging the bag 25, the two-story horizontal clapboard, dividers or shelfs 51, 52, hang from the bag 25 top surface. In this progression the fabric outer body is brought down 99 and extended over the lower portion of the outer body 21.

FIG. 6 shows the collapsible folding storage bag suspended and completely expanded. The upper portion shows two storage bags 53 and 54 that can be used to store smaller items. In this suspension mode the buckle 71, 72, 73, 74 are unlocked. The left and right hook 61, 62 are lifted from the collapsible folding storage bag to hang the bag 25. Gravity allows the collapsible folding storage bag to naturally expand. The outer body 21 inside and outside the flip and reverse the upper cover 22 through the top cover zipper 23 is closed. In this configuration the two storage bags or spaces 53, 54 can be used. The two partition or shelfs 51, 52 provide three separate open front-end storage spaces and a closed storage space through the top cover zipper 23 that can be opened and closed to fully expand the effective storage space. The two pairs of buckles 71, 72, 73, 74 will fold over the hanging bag onto the outer body 21 inside the bottom surface.

FIGS. 7A and 7B shows the collapsible folding storage bag with side 56 and back 55 pockets that extend to the corners of the bag. These side pockets 56 and back pockets 55 have openings to allow then to hold elongated items without falling out of the storage bag and allow for quick placement and retrieval.

FIG. 8 shows the collapsible folding storage bag with a handle 29 that is secured to a removable laundry section 27. This additional handle 29 allows the storage bag to be carried from the elongated side of the storage bag, as opposed to the handle 28 found in FIG. 1. The removable laundry section can be withdrawn from the collapsible folding storage bag and taken to a laundry area for cleaning of the clothes found within without requiring a separate laundry bag or hamper.

FIG. 9 shows the collapsible folding storage bag with zipper pull(s) 30. The zipper pulls 30 make it easier to grasp the ends of the zipper to open and close the zippers.

FIG. 10 shows the collapsible folding storage bag with the mesh socks pocket 57 in the top cover 22. The pocket 57 is shown here as a mesh pocket that allows the contents to be seen through the mesh. The pocket 57 is configured with an elongated top opening where gravity will hold items within the pocket 57. The storage bag is also shown with two pants rods 40. The pants rods 40 allow a user to hang pants from the rods 40. The pants rods 40 are filled with a semi-rigid material to allow them to flex around the items in the storage bag when closed, yet provide an essentially straight surface when used. While two pants rods 40 are shown, as few and one to more than two are contemplated. The pants rods 40 can be easily folded into the storage bag with or without pants attached for transportation of the storage bag.

FIGS. 11A and 11B shows the hanging system that works on a closet rod or over a door. The hanging system has two free floating hooks 63 that are secured to each of the Second half of left buckle 72 and the first half of right buckle 73 or some equivalent thereof. The free-floating hook(s) 63 have a strap slide 64 portion that allows the free-floating hook(s) 63 to slide 98 along the strap to a position centered on the storage bag or to slide 98 to an end position where the storage bag can be secured to the back of a door. Each free-floating hook(s) 63 is connected with a pivot 65 that allows the free-floating hook(s) 63 to lay flat for storage or rotate to a desired orientation for placement on the closet rod or over a door.

Various objects, features, aspects, and advantages of the present invention will become more apparent from the following detailed description of preferred embodiments of the invention, along with the accompanying drawings in which like numerals represent like components.

Claims

1. A collapsible foldable storage package comprising:

an outer body with a top cover and a bottom;
said outer body is connected to said top cover with a top cover zipper;
said outer body has a front opening, a top, left side, a right side, a front side and a back side;
a plurality of dividers partition shelfs between said top cover and said bottom cover connected with said left side, right side and said back side whereby said left side, right side and said back side fold the increase and decrease a space between each of said plurality of dividers;
said outer body as a pair of upper of rod hooks and a pair of lower rod hooks, and said front opening is formed when the foldable hanging bag is unfolded.

2. The collapsible foldable storage package according to claim 1, wherein said collapsible folding storage package further includes least a pair of front and rear buckles that are length adjustable.

3. The collapsible foldable storage package according to claim 1, wherein said collapsible folding storage package further includes at least one layer of horizontal baffle(s).

4. The collapsible foldable storage package according to claim 1, wherein said collapsible folding storage package further includes at least one hanging bag with at least one storage bag.

5. The collapsible foldable storage package according to claim 1, wherein said collapsible folding storage package further includes at least two pants hangers.

6. The collapsible foldable storage package according to claim 1, further includes a hanging hooks that can transition for hanging on a closet rod to the back of a door.

7. The collapsible foldable storage package according to claim 1, wherein a bottom includes a zipper that allows a bottom cover to open.

8. The collapsible foldable storage package according to claim 7, wherein bottom includes at least one pants rod that extends below said bottom.

9. The collapsible foldable storage package according to claim 8, wherein there are at least two pants rods.

10. The collapsible foldable storage package according to claim 1, further includes at least two hooks.

11. The collapsible foldable storage package according to claim 10, wherein each of said at least two hooks connect to said collapsible foldable storage package with at least one strap.

12. The collapsible foldable storage package according to claim 11, wherein at least two hooks are configured to slide along said at least one strap.

13. The collapsible foldable storage package according to claim 1, wherein said outer body is configured with a zippered flap that is configured to enclose said plurality of dividers partition shelfs within said outer body.

14. The collapsible foldable storage package according to claim 1, wherein said least a pair of front and rear buckles are configured to retain said collapsible foldable storage package in a collapsed configuration.

15. The collapsible foldable storage package according to claim 2, said at least a pair of front and rear buckles are length to secure clothing within said collapsible foldable storage package.

16. The collapsible foldable storage package according to claim 1, further includes at least one front pocket or at least one side pocket.

17. The collapsible foldable storage package according to claim 1, further includes at removable laundry section.

18. The collapsible foldable storage package according to claim 1, wherein said collapsible foldable storage package further includes at least one handle on at least one side.

19. The collapsible foldable storage package according to claim 1, wherein said collapsible foldable storage package includes a plurality of zippers.

20. The collapsible foldable storage package according to claim 19, wherein at least one of said plurality of zippers has a zipper pull.
