Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION a) Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to a building block, and more particularly, to a triangular building block being assembled into all kinds of various shapes.

b) Description of the Prior Art

The most famous LEGO blocks are combined in a concave-convex way to stack upward or extend toward right and left. The operation is simple but limits the development; especially it is unable to combine into a three-dimensional building block in a shape of a triangular rooftop. In addition, as the building blocks in a same series are latched and assembled in the concave-convex way, children cannot be attracted for a long time to learn the ability of development and creation by playing the building blocks.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

Accordingly, the primary object of the present invention is to provide a triangular building block being assembled into all kinds of various shapes.

The building block can be stacked on a block in a shape of a house to form a triangular rooftop and can be assembled freely along with other block bodies in a same series to excite creativity.

To enable a further understanding of the said objectives and the technological methods of the invention herein, the brief description of the drawings below is followed by the detailed description of the preferred embodiments.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

Referring to FIG. 1, the present invention discloses a triangular building block being assembled into all kinds of various shapes, comprising a block body 10. The block body 10 is triangular, a horizontal plane at a bottom 11 of the block body 10 is extended toward two sides with a bottom plate 12, the bottom plates 12 provide the block body 10 to stand up and are extended upward to form a triangular top 13, a center of the top 13 is formed with a platform 131, and two sides of the platform 131 are provided with plural grooves 132, 133 and bumps 134. The groove 132 in adjacent to the platform 131 is in an L-shape, and the rest of the grooves 133 are rectangular. By the grooves 132, 133 and the bumps 134 at the top 13, the block body 10 can be extended toward two sides along with the block bodies 10 in a same series, stacking into the block assembly in various shapes to develop children's imagination and creativity.

Referring to FIG. 2, it shows a house-shaped block formed by two trapezoidal blocks 20, 30. The oblique top edges 21, 31 of the trapezoidal blocks 20, 30 provide for the combination of the block body 10 to form the house with a triangular rooftop, wherein the bottom 11 of the block body 10 crosses over on the oblique top edges 21, 31 of the trapezoidal blocks 20, 30.

Referring to FIG. 3, the grooves 132, 133 and the bumps 134 on two sides of the triangular top 13 of the block body 10 provide respectively for latching the bumps 134′ and the grooves 133′ on the edges of two block bodies 10′ in the same series. In addition, a single edge on the other side of the top of the abovementioned block body 10′ in the same series is also latched on the edge of the other block body 10′ that is inverted and in the same series, forming a block assembly like a shape of letter “X.”

Referring to FIG. 4, two edges at the top of the inverted block body 10 are arranged with the other two block bodies 10′ in the same series using the grooves 133 and the bumps 134, forming a block assembly in a different shape.

Referring to FIG. 5, the grooves 133 and the bumps 134 at the top 13 of the block body 10 are latched respectively with the bumps and the grooves at the top 13′ of other block bodies 10′ to form a block assembly latched by six block bodies 10, 10′.

Referring to FIG. 6, the grooves 133 and the bumps 134 at the top 13 of the block body 10 are latched respectively with the bumps and the grooves at the top 13′ of other block bodies 10′ to form a block assembly latched by five block bodies 10, 10′.

Referring to FIG. 7, one block body 10 is put stood up and stacked upward with five other block bodies 10′ in the same series, forming a block assembly like a pyramid, wherein the platform 131 at the top 13 of the block body 10 provides for emplacing flat the bottom plate 12′ of the other block body 10′ in the same series, with the bottom plate 12′ being emplaced flat on the platform 131 to extend upward.

Referring to FIG. 8, in addition to that the block body 10 can be latched or stacked with other block bodies in the same series, the block body 10 can be also crossed over on the oblique top edges 21, 31 of the trapezoidal blocks 20, 30 to combine into a large block game equipment.

In conclusion, according to the above description of the embodiments of the present invention, all kinds of the block assemblies in various shapes can be created by a special triangular block body and other block bodies in the same series, providing for children to learn the ability of development and creation through playing the blocks.

It is of course to be understood that the embodiments described herein are merely illustrative of the principles of the invention and that a wide variety of modifications thereto may be effected by persons skilled in the art without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as set forth in the following claims.
