A bristle planting pad structure of a hairbrush with a bristle planting pad body includes a brush pad, a multiple of bristle tufts, and a multiple of fasteners. The brush pad is a plate-like structure made of a thermoplastic elastomer material and having a multiple of accommodating chambers with separate accommodating space disposed on an inner side of the plate-like structure and spaced from one another, and a collar mounted around the periphery of the plate-like structure, and the bristle tuft is formed by a multiple of boar bristles and/or a monofilament nylon with a folded portion at the bottom, and the fasteners are engaged and fixed to the folded portions of the brush tuft and the accommodating space of the accommodating chambers of the brush pad respectively.

Description
FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to a bristle planting pad structure of a hairbrush, and more particularly to the bristle planting pad structure of a hairbrush capable of preventing a bristle tuft from sinking while providing sufficient pull resistance to the bristle tuft and eliminating the environmental (air) pollution caused by the use of adhesive.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

With the development of society and economy, people are paying more and more attention to dressing and grooming. A neat and clean appearance is an extremely important courtesy, and moderate care not just makes you look cheerful only, but also gives others a good expression, and hair has a substantial influence, and thus personal clothing and appearance from head to toe must start from hair first

Secondly, most people use an appropriate hairdressing device (such as a hairbrush or a hair curling roll) with some hairdressing products to increase the effect of hair styling and hair care. For example, when using hair styling, hairdressing and hair care products, the hairbrush is often use to uniformly apply the hair care product to the hair or hair root. Therefore, related hair styling devices for grooming become a necessary tool to a modern person.

With reference to FIG. 1 for a bottom perspective view of a bristle planting pad of a conventional hairbrush, a hair care device generally comprises a main body 1 with a bristle planting pad thereon, a plurality of holes 111 formed on a brush pad 11, and a plurality of combing bristle 12 folded and planted thereon, and then adhered and fixed onto the bottom of the whole brush pad 11 by using a woven fabric 13 and an adhesive 14. During use, a handle (not shown in the figures) extended from the hairbrush is held by a user's hand, and comb hair by moving the combing bristles 12 of the hairbrush along a hair flow to organize the hair more smoothly and neatly.

However, the structure of the aforementioned conventional structure of the bristle planting pad body 1 with the brush pad 11 planted with the combing bristles 12 which may be sunk or loosened easily during the process of combing hair due to the factors of the pulling force applied by the user's hand and the insufficient binding force between the combing bristles 12 and the brush pad 11. Furthermore, in the conventional structure of the bristle planting pad body 1 with the combing bristles 12, the adhesive 14 is used for adhering and fixing the combing bristles 12 to the brush pad 11 and thus causing an environmental air pollution issue. Obviously, the conventional structure requires improvements.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

In view of the aforementioned drawbacks of the conventional bristle planting pad structure of a hairbrush, the inventor of the present invention based on years of experience in the related industry to conduct extensive research and experiment, and finally provided a bristle planting pad structure of a hairbrush to overcome the drawback of the prior art.

Therefore, it is a primary objective of the present invention to provide a bristle planting pad structure of a hairbrush with the features of simple structure and high reliability while achieving the effect of preventing the combing bristles and the combing pin from sinking.

A secondary objective of the present invention is to provide a bristle planting pad structure of a hairbrush with the features of simple structure and high reliability while achieving the effect of providing sufficient pull resistance to the combing bristles and the combing pin.

Another objective of the present invention is to provide a bristle planting pad structure of a hairbrush with the features of simple structure and high reliability while achieving the effect of eliminating environmental (air) pollution caused by the use of adhesive.

To achieve the aforementioned and other objectives, the present invention provides a bristle planting pad structure of a hairbrush comprising a brush pad, a plurality of bristle tufts and a plurality of fasteners.

The brush pad is a plate-like structure made of a thermoplastic elastomer and comprising a plurality of accommodating chambers formed on an inner side of the plate-like structure and each having an accommodating space spaced from one another, and a collar mounted around the peripheral surface of the plate-like structure.

The bristle tuft is comprised of a plurality of boar bristles and/or a monofilament nylon with a folded portion at the bottom thereof. In other words, the tuft of bristles may be combined with boar bristles and a monofilament nylon in one hole, or just a plurality of boar bristles, or just a monofilament nylon.

The fastener is engaged and fixed to the folded portion of the bristle tuft and the accommodating space of the accommodating chamber of the brush pad, wherein the fastener is a metal plate or a metal wire loop.

In the bristle planting pad structure of a hairbrush comprised of the aforementioned components, the bottom of the accommodating chamber of the brush pad provides a stop effect and the fasteners produce an engaging and fixing effect to the accommodating space of the brush pad and the folded portion at the bottom of the bristle tuft, so that the whole bristle tuft will not be sunken or loosened easily during the process of combing hair. In addition, the collar mounted around the peripheral surface of the plate-like structure of the brush pad is provided for enhancing the expansion strength of the whole brush pad, so that the whole brush pad can be embedded and fixed to the engaging groove of the brush base. In the whole manufacturing and assembling process, no adhesive is used for fixing or adhesion, and thus not only saving labor and material costs, but also preventing environmental (air) pollution caused by the use of adhesive, and providing a more secured and reliable structure of the whole hairbrush.

The fastener is a metal plate.

The fastener is a metal wire loop.

The metal plate is a rectangular plate-like structure.

The metal wire loop is substantially l-shaped, and the open end of the bottom of the metal wire loop is situated in a substantially staggered state or a substantially connected state.

The technical characteristics, specific structure, and practical functions of the present invention will be apparent with the detailed description of preferred embodiments accompanied with related drawings as follows.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

The present invention is directed to a bristle planting pad structure of a hairbrush with the features of simple structure and high reliability while achieve the effects of preventing the bristle tufts from sinking, providing sufficient pull resistance to the bristle tuft, and eliminating environmental (air) pollution caused by the use of adhesive. According to the aforementioned objectives, preferred embodiment, the structure and effects of the present invention will be described together with related drawings as follows.

With reference to FIGS. 2 to 8 for a bristle planting pad structure of a hairbrush in accordance with the present invention, the bristle planting pad structure with a bristle planting pad body 2 comprising a brush pad 21, a plurality of bristle tufts 22 and a plurality of fasteners 23.

The brush pad 21 is a plate-like structure made of a thermoplastic elastomer and comprises a plurality of accommodating chambers 211 formed on an inner side of the plate-like structure and spaced from one another, and each accommodating chamber 211 having an accommodating space 2111, and a collar 212 mounted around the peripheral surface of the plate-like structure.

The bristle tuft 22 is comprised of a plurality of combing bristles 221 and/or a nylon wool combing pin 222 with a folded portion 223 at the bottom thereof. In other words, the bristle tuft may be formed by a plurality of combing bristles 221 combined with a nylon wool combing pin 222, or just a plurality of combing bristles 221, or just a single nylon wool combing pin 222.

The fastener 23 is engaged and fixed to the folded portion 223 of the bristle tuft 22 and the accommodating space 2111 of the accommodating chamber 211 of the brush pad 21, wherein the fastener 23 may be a metal plate or a metal wire loop.

In the manufacturing process of a bristle planting pad structure of a hairbrush of the present invention, the folded portion 223 at the bottom of the bristle tuft 22 together with the fastener 23 are planted and fixed into the accommodating space 2111 of the accommodating chamber 211 of the brush pad 21 are stopped by the bottom of the accommodating chamber 211, so that the bristle tuft 22 will not sink in the process of combing hair. In the meantime, the engaging and fixing effect produced at the folded portion 223 at the bottom of the bristle tuft 22 by the fastener 23 and at the accommodating space 2111 of the accommodating chamber 211 of the brush pad 21 by the fastener 23 prevents the bristle tuft 22 from being loosened during the process of combing hair and provides sufficient pull resistance to the whole bristle tuft 22. In a practical application of the bristle planting pad structure of a hairbrush of the present invention, the fastener 23 engaged and fixed to the folded portion 223 at the bottom of the bristle tuft 22 is a metal plate or a metal wire loop. For example, the metal plate is a rectangular plate-like structure as shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, or an l-shaped metal wire loop with an open-end bottom which can be staggered (as shown in FIG. 7), or a connected state substantially in the staggered state as shown in FIG. 8), and both of the aforementioned arrangements are appropriate but not limited to either one.

It is noteworthy that the folded portion 223 at the bottom of the bristle tuft 22 and the fastener 23 of the bristle planting pad structure of a hairbrush the present invention are planted and fixed into the accommodating space 2111 of the accommodating chamber 211 of the brush pad 21 without using any woven fabric and adhesive to adhere and fix the bristle tuft 22 with the brush pad 21 (as the conventional bristle planting pad of a hairbrush does), and this innovative design can prevent the bristle tuft 22 from sinking and provide the effect of sufficient pull resistance, while eliminating environmental (air) pollution caused by the use of adhesive.

To meet the requirements of softness, elasticity and thickness of the brush pad 21, the bristle planting pad structure of a hairbrush in accordance with the present invention uses a thermoplastic elastomer material harder than that of the conventional structure and an integral injection molding for the manufacture to improve the strength of embedding and engaging the fastener 23. To achieve a better peripheral engaging capability between the brush pad 21 and the engaging groove 31 of the brush base 3 in accordance with the bristle planting pad structure of a hairbrush. Particularly, a collar 212 is mounted around the peripheral surface of the plate-like structure of the brush pad 21 and provided for improving the expansion strength of the whole brush pad 21, and the whole brush pad 21 is directly embed and fixed to the engaging groove 31, 41 of the brush base 3, 4. In FIGS. 9 and 10, no adhesive is required for fixing and adhesion in the manufacturing process, and thus not only saving labor and material costs, but also eliminating environmental (air) pollution caused by the use of adhesive.

With reference to FIG. 10 for a bottom perspective of a bristle planting pad structure of a hairbrush in accordance with the present invention, the accommodating chamber 211 of the brush pad 21 is exposed (which is no longer covered by an external housing like the aforementioned embodiment), so that the bottom (rear side) of the bristle planting pad is substantially in the form of a granular skin to make the whole hairbrush look pleasing, very distinctive and worthy.

Compared with the prior art, the bristle planting pad structure of a hairbrush in accordance with the present invention uses the stop effect of the bottom of the accommodating chamber of the brush pad to prevent the whole bristle tuft from sinking during the hair combing hair. In the meantime, the engaging and fixing effect produced by the fastener to the accommodating space of the brush pad and the folded portion at the bottom of the bristle tuft prevents the whole bristle tuft from being loosened easily in the hair combing process. In addition, a collar mounted around the peripheral surface of the plate-like structure of the brush pad is provided for enhancing the expansion strength of the whole brush pad, so that the whole brush pad can be embedded and fixed to the engaging groove of the brush base. In the whole manufacturing and assembling process, no adhesive is used for fixing or adhesion, and thus not saving labor and material costs only, but also preventing environmental (air) pollution caused by the use of adhesive, and providing a more secured and reliable structure of the whole hairbrush.

While the invention is described in some detail hereinbelow with reference to certain illustrated embodiments, it is to be understood that there is no intent to limit it to those embodiments. On the contrary, the aim is to cover all modifications, alternatives and equivalents falling within the spirit and scope of the invention as defined by the appended claims.

Claims

1. A bristle planting pad structure of a hairbrush, with a main body comprising a brush pad and a plurality of bristle tufts and plurality of fasteners, characterized in that the brush pad is a plate-like structure made of a thermoplastic elastomer and has a plurality of accommodating chambers with an accommodating space formed on an inner side of the plate-like structure, and a collar mounted around the peripheral surface of the plate-like structure; and the bristle tuft is formed by a plurality of boar bristles, each having a folded portion at the bottom thereof and/or a monofilament nylon; and the fastener is engaged and fixed to the folded portion of the bristle tuft and the accommodating space of the accommodating chamber of the brush pad.

The bristle planting pad structure of a hairbrush according to claim 1, wherein the bristle tuft is comprised of a plurality of boar bristles and/or a monofilament nylon with a folded portion at the bottom thereof, in other word, the bristle tuft is comprised of a plurality of boar bristles combined with a monofilament nylon, or just a plurality of boar bristles, or just a monofilament nylon.

3. The bristle planting pad structure of a hairbrush according to claim 1, wherein the fastener is a metal plate.

4. The bristle planting pad structure of a hairbrush according to claim 1, wherein the metal plate is a rectangular plate-like structure.

5. The bristle planting pad structure of a hairbrush according to claim 1, wherein the fastener is an l-shaped metal wire loop.

6. The bristle planting pad structure of a hairbrush according to claim 1, wherein the l-shaped metal wire loop has an open end at the bottom thereof and situated in a staggered or connected state.

7. The bristle planting pad structure of a hairbrush according to claim 4, wherein the l-shaped metal wire loop has an open end at the bottom thereof and situated in a staggered or connected state.
