However, the embodiment themselves, as well as a preferred mode of use, and further objectives and advantages thereof, will best be understood by reference to the following detailed description when read in conjunction with the accompanying drawings, wherein:

FIG. 1 is a semi-folded view of the bottom member of the bed system; and

FIG. 2 is a semi-folded view of the middle member of the bed system; and

FIG. 3 is a semi-folded view of the top member of the bed system; and

FIG. 4 is an unfolded view of the bed system 901; and

FIG. 5 is a folded view of the bed system 901 and method in accordance with the preferred embodiment of the present application.

While the system and method of use of the present application is susceptible to various modifications and alternative forms, specific embodiment thereof have been shown by way of example in the drawings and are herein described in detail. It should be understood, however, that the description herein of specific embodiments not intended to limit the invention to the particular embodiment disclosed, but on the contrary, the intention is to cover all modifications, equivalents, and alternatives falling within the spirit and scope of the present application as defined by the appended claims.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

Illustrative embodiment of the system and method of use of the present application are provided below. It will of course be appreciated that in the development of any actual embodiment, numerous implication-specific decisions will be made to achieve the developers specific goals, such as compliance with the system-related and business-related constraints, which will vary from one implementation to another. Moreover, it will be appreciated that such a development effort might be complex and time-consuming, but would nevertheless be a routine undertaking for those of ordinary skill in the art having the benefit of this disclosure.

The system and method of use will be understood, both as it structure and operation, from the accompanying drawings, taken in conjunction with the accompanying description. Several embodiments off the system are presented herein. It should be understood that the various members, parts, and features of the different embodiment may be combined together and/or interchanged with one another, all of which are within the scope if the present application, even though not all variations and particular embodiments are shown in the drawings. It should be understood that the mixing and matching of features, elements, and/or functions between various embodiments is expressly contemplated herein so that one of ordinary skill in the art would appreciate from this disclosure that the features, elements and/or functions of one embodiment may be incorporated into another embodiment as appropriate, unless described otherwise.

The preferred embodiment herein described is not intended to be exhaustive or to limit the invention to the precise form disclosed. It is chosen and described to explain the principles of the invention and its application and practical use to enable other in the art to follow its teachings.

Referring now to the drawings wherein like reference characters identify corresponding or similar elements throughout the several views, FIG. 1-5 depict various embodiments of the bed system 901 and method of use in accordance with a preferred embodiment of the present application. It will be appreciated that the bed system 901 overcomes one or more of the above-listed problems commonly associated with conventional beds, including portable beds such as foldable mattresses, air mattresses, camping beds and roll away beds. Specifically, bed system 901 is configured to be comfortable, impact resistant, reduce in size and dust, insect and water resistant.

Bed system 901 is depicted in FIG. 4 as unfolded and FIG. 5 as folded. Bed system 901 is configured to include foldable bottom member 101 depicted in FIG. 1; foldable middle member 201 depicted in FIG. 2 and foldable top member 301 depicted in FIG. 3.

Foldable bottom member 101 is preferably composed of hollow metal tubes; foldable middle member 201 is preferably composed of hollow, impact resistant and flexible blow molded, injection molded or thermally formed polymer; and foldable upper member 301 is preferably made of soft, copious and compression capable foam.

Foldable bottom member 101 contain a pivotal attaching mechanism for example a hinge 103 and foldable legs 102, thereby able to retain an elevated standard position while supporting middle member 201, top member 301, and person 601. Foldable middle member 201 contains a locking mechanism 204 for example a latch and apposing periphery edges 202 and 203, and sealing membrane 205 for example a rubber seal that is configured to convert the middle member into a sealed cavity when the bed system is closed and locked. Foldable top member 301 is configured to compress and dispose within the middle member to reduce in size.

In the preferred embodiment, FIG. 5 depict the folded bed system 901 and FIG. 4 depict the unfolded bed system 901. The bed system is constructed by attaching middle member 201 to bottom member 101 via rivets and semi-attaching top member 301 to middle member 201 via fasteners, thereafter, a person 601 is able to rest on surface of member 301.

As depicted in FIG. 4, the folding process of bed system 901 is initiated by applying force D1 to the unfolded sides and as depicted in FIG. 5, the folding process is completed by applying force D2 which disposes therebetween member 301 in the sealed cavity of member 201. By engaging locking mechanism 204, bed system 901 remains folded as depicted in FIG. 5.

While folded and locked and as depicted in FIG. 5, bed system 901 is configured to provide an impact resistant structure due to the flexible impact resistant polymer material the middle member 201 is composed of, and further reduces in size due to member 301 ability to compress and dispose within member 201, and further provides a water, insect and dust resistant system due to the opposing periphery edges 202 and 203 in FIG. 4 and sealing membrane 205 in FIG. 5 that create a sealed cavity.

While unfolded and as depicted in FIG. 4, bed system 901 is configured to provide comfort via its unfolded legs 102 that offers an elevated standard bed position; flexible middle member 201 that offers an added spring-like effect beneath member 301; copious compression capable foam member 301 that offers softness and cushioning.

The particular embodiments disclosed above are illustrative only, as the embodiment may be modified and practiced in different but equivalent manners apparent to those skilled in the art having the benefits of the teachings herein. It is therefore evident that the particular embodiment disclosed above may be altered or modified, and all such variations are considered within the scope and spirit of the application. Accordingly, the protection sought herein is as set forth in the description.

Although the present embodiments are shown above, they are not limited to just these embodiments, but are amenable to various changes and modifications without departing from the spirit thereof.
