PREFABRICATED FENCING SYSTEM AND METHOD
A prefabricated fencing system includes a plurality of fence posts having at least one hanger gusset and rail sections that may be configured to be coupled together via a threaded coupling and welded to at least one hanger gusset fixed to at least one fence post. The system may include rail sections that may also include at least one vertical mounting plate for affixing a windbreak and/or a privacy/security structures. The prefabricated fencing system is useful for providing a prefabricated fencing system for continuous fencing.
The following includes information that may be useful in understanding the present disclosure. It is not an admission that any of the information provided herein is prior art nor material to the presently described or claimed inventions, nor that any publication or document that is specifically or implicitly referenced is prior art.
TECHNICAL FIELDThe present invention relates generally to the field of fencing of existing art and more specifically relates to prefabricated fence.
RELATED ARTConventional fences suffer from the disadvantage of being difficult and costly to erect. This is particularly true of post and rail fences of the type that are often made of roughly debarked wood. These fences require that the rails be cut to length on site or precision post placement is required, which is time consuming and costly. Moreover, the wood of which such fences are constructed is subject to rotting and termite infestation. Another common fence system is a T-post and wire strand mainly used to contain livestock. Although less expensive than wood, it requires a great deal of maintenance and provides little security. A better solution is desired.
U.S. Pat. No. 2,025,289 to Kastien, Emil P. relates to a fence post. The described fence post includes steel sections made in varying lengths. Secured to the face of the flange or head, and at predetermined points throughout the length of the section is a plurality of hooks. These hooks are secured by being welded to the body of the post and preferably in line with the axis. Each hook is formed with a flat base or securement portion and embodying sufficient material for an efficient weld when laid against the face of the flange or head so as to insure permanency when welded, and to stand the ordinary and usual abuses to which post sections of this type are subjected. The retention portion of each hook extends upwardly from its welded end and is bent or bulged outwardly to provide a seat to receive and retain a strand or cable.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTIONIn view of the foregoing disadvantages inherent in the known fence art, the present disclosure provides a novel prefabricated fencing system. The general purpose of the present disclosure, which will be described subsequently in greater detail, is to provide a prefabricated fencing system including a plurality of fence posts having at least one hanger gusset and rail sections that may be configured to be coupled together via a threaded coupling and welded to at least one hanger gusset. The hanger gussets are fixed to at least one fence post and may include rail sections may also include at least one vertical mounting plate for affixing a windbreak and/or a privacy/security structures.
A prefabricated fencing system is disclosed herein. The prefabricated fencing system includes at least one fence post including; at least one hanger gusset welded to said at least one fence post at a right angle configured to receive and support at least one rail in a horizontal relation to a ground surface at a predetermined height. A plurality of the at least one fence posts and rail sections comprising the at least one rail is coupled together in functional combination to provide continuous prefabricated fencing (as a system).
According to another embodiment, a method of installing a prefabricated fence system is also disclosed herein. The method of installing a prefabricated fence system includes providing the prefabricated fence system, coupling a plurality of fence posts and rail sections together to provide a continuous prefabricated fencing system, setting the at least two fence posts into a ground-volume, attaching a rail of the rail sections to a hanger gusset in a horizontal relation to a ground surface, setting additional fence posts into the ground-volume, coupling additional rails, and affixing a wind break and/or privacy/security structures.

The various embodiments of the present invention will hereinafter be described in conjunction with the appended drawings, wherein like designations denote like elements.
DETAILED DESCRIPTIONAs discussed above, embodiments of the present disclosure relate to fences and more particularly to a prefabricated fencing system as used to improve fencing for a continuous fencing system.
Generally speaking, a prefabricated fence post may be constructed from sections of steel to be used for continuous fencing. The fence post preferably includes hooked gussets welded on the side of the post that allows the installer to use pipe as the rail. Preferably, each gusset has a curved notch about the same size as the diameter of the pipe being used for the rails. The notch is helpful in holding the pipe in place, as the fence is being erected by keeping the pipe sections in place while the sections are being coupled together. Once the posts have the sections of pipe perched on the gussets and coupled, the rails can then be welded to the gussets creating a high quality, long lasting fence achieved with minimal time to install using lower cost tubing.

According to one embodiment, the prefabricated fencing system 100 may be arranged as a kit 105. In particular, the prefabricated fencing system 100 may further include a set of instructions 107. The instructions 107 may detail functional relationships in relation to the structure of the prefabricated fencing system 100 such that the prefabricated fencing system 100 can be used, maintained, or the like, in a preferred manner.
It is also important to note the in other embodiments of prefabricated fencing system 100, the at least one fence post 110 may be configured whereby the at least one hanger gusset 116 is fixed to the at least one post 110 at a desirable angle that does not comprise a right-angle and the at least one hanger gusset 116 may be fixed to more than one side of said fence.

Claims
1. A prefabricated fencing system, the prefabricated fence system comprising:
- at least one fence post including; at least one hanger gusset welded to said at least one fence post at a right angle configured to receive and support at least one rail in a horizontal relation to a ground surface at a predetermined height; and wherein a plurality of said at least one fence posts and rail sections comprising said at least one rail are coupled together in functional combination to provide a continuous said prefabricated fencing system.
2. The system of claim 1, wherein the at least one fence post is a predetermined length of pipe.
3. The system of claim 2, wherein the at least one fence post is a predetermined length of square tubing.
4. The system of claim 1, wherein the at least one fence post is configured to be driven through the ground surface and into a ground-volume.
5. The system of claim 1, wherein the at least one fence post is configured to be set in concrete.
6. The system of claim 1, wherein the at least one fence post is configured to be inserted into a preset-receiver.
7. The system of claim 6, wherein the at least one hanger gusset welded to said fence post at said right angle is fabricated from flat bar stock and configured to receive a round profile said at least one rail.
8. The system of claim 6, wherein the at least one hanger gusset is fabricated from flat bar stock and configured to receive a square said at least one rail.
9. The system of claim 6, wherein the hanger gusset is fabricated from round bar stock and configured to receive round said at least one rail.
10. The system of claim 7, wherein the at least one hanger gusset is fixed to said at least one post at a desirable angle that does not comprise a right-angle.
11. The system of claim 7, wherein multiples of the at least one hanger gusset is fixed to said at least one post in vertical alignment with equal spacing.
12. The system of claim 7, wherein multiples of the at least one hanger gusset is fixed to said at least one post in vertical alignment unequal spacing.
13. The system of claim 7, wherein the at least one hanger gusset is fixed to more than one side of said fence at least one post.
14. The system of claim 1, wherein the plurality of fence posts having said at least one hanger gusset and said rail sections are configured to be coupled together via at least one welding-fastening-process.
15. The system of claim 14, wherein the rail sections are configured to be coupled together via a threaded coupling welded to said at least one hanger gusset fixed to said at least one fence post.
16. The system of claim 14, wherein the rail sections include at least one vertical mounting plate for affixing a windbreak and alternately privacy/security structures.
17. A prefabricated fencing system, the prefabricated fence system comprising:
- at least one fence post including; at least one hanger gusset welded to said at least one fence post at a right angle configured to receive and support at least one rail in a horizontal relation to a ground surface at a predetermined height; and wherein a plurality of said at least one fence posts and rail sections comprising said at least one rail are coupled together in functional combination to provide continuous said prefabricated fencing system. wherein the at least one fence post is a predetermined length of pipe; wherein the at least one fence post is configured to be driven into ground; wherein the at least one hanger gusset as welded to said fence post at a right angle is fabricated from flat bar stock and is configured to receive a round rail; wherein a plurality of the at least one hanger gusset is fixed to said post in vertical alignment with equal spacing able to be fixed to more than one side of said at least one fence post; wherein the rail sections are configured to be coupled together via a threaded coupling; and wherein the rail sections include at least one vertical mounting plate for affixing a wind break.
18. The system of claim 17, further comprising set of instructions; and
- wherein the system is arranged as a kit.
19. A method of installing a prefabricated fence system, the prefabricated fence system comprising:
- providing the prefabricated fence system;
- coupling a plurality of fence posts and rail sections together to provide a continuous said prefabricated fencing system;
- setting the at least two fence posts into a ground-volume, and
- attaching a rail of said rail sections to a hanger gusset in a horizontal relation to a ground surface.
20. The method of claim 19, further comprising the steps of:
- setting additional said fence posts into the ground-volume,
- coupling additional said rails,
- attaching additional said rails to said hanger gusset in a horizontal relation to the ground surface; and
- affixing a wind break and/or privacy/security structures.
