DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to FIGS. 1-11. It is readily appreciated to those having ordinary skills that the description is not provided for constraining the ways of embodying the present invention, and is provided for explaining one or some ways of the embodiment of the present invention.

Firstly, referring collectively to FIGS. 1, 2, and 4, the present invention provides a bra cup structure, which comprises two cup sections 1. Each of the cup sections 1 comprises a cup body 11, an outer covering layer 12, and an inner lining layer 13.

The cup body 11 includes an outside surface ill and an inside surface 112. The outer covering layer 12 is set on and covers the outside surface 111 of the cup body 11, and the inner lining layer 13 is set on and covers the inside surface 112 of the cup body 11, The inner lining layer 13 includes a skin contact surface 131, which is provided for contacting and engaging with the breast of a wearer. Preferably, the inner lining layer 13 comprises or is made of elastic fabric. Practically, the cup body 11, the outer covering layer 12, and the inner lining layer 13 are combined together through sewing or stitching, and preferably, they are combined in a sewing-free or stitching-free manner, such as press-bonding. The bra cup structure is applicable to a woman undergarment, as shown in FIG. 9, and is also applicable to a bikini-style swimsuit, as shown in FIGS. 10 and 11.

The cup body 11 includes a C-shaped padding section 113, and as being observed from the inside surface 112, the C-shaped padding section 113 shows a contour that is similar to an English letter “C”. The contour of the C-shaped padding section 113 is shown with phantom lines throughout all the drawings. The C-shaped padding section 113 has a thickness that is gradually increased from an edge of the C-shaped padding section 113 toward a central portion, so that the inside surface 112 shows a raised C-shaped area.

As shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the cup body 11 includes an outer edge 11a, an inner edge 11b, and a bottom edge 11c, which respectively correspond to an Outer side, an inner side, and a bottom of a breast of a wearer. In the instant embodiment, the C-shaped padding section 113 is formed of a first end section 1131 and a second end section 1132 that are connected to each other. The second end section 1132 has a width and a length that are greater than those of the first end section 1131. The first end section 1131 is arranged to generally extend along the outer edge 11a, and the second end section 1132 is arranged to generally extend along the bottom edge 11c. The first end section 1131 and the second end section 1132 collectively define an opening that faces toward the inner edge 11b. Preferably, the first end section 1131 has an end portion that is not connected to the second end section 1132 and is formed with a curved section 1133 curved toward an inward side of the cup body 11, The cup body 11 that is provided with the C-shaped padding section 113 could help inwardly concentrate or inwardly push the breasts and also pushing up the breasts, and covering inwardly accessory breasts, so as to exhibit an excellent body shape for women.

In an embodiment, the C-shaped padding section 113 has the thickest portion of which the thickness is 2 centimeters. In an embodiment, the cup body 11 is made of high-density polyester foam, and such a foam material, once being put in contact with water, may preserve some water and retain the shape. Optionally, the cup body 11 can alternatively be made of a fast-dry or water-resistant material, so that the bra cup structure, when used in a swimsuit, does not sag due to absorption of water.

Referring to FIGS. 1 and 5, in a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the skin contact surface 131 of the inner lining layer 13 includes a plurality of embossed pattern sections 2, In the instant embodiment, the embossed pattern sections 2 comprise texts or figures. Preferably, the embossed pattern sections 2 are formed by imprinting or stamping a silicon rubber material on the skin contact surface 131, The embossed pattern sections 2 provide a function of skidding prevention and the silicon rubber material provides a function of water resistance, and these sections are preferably formed the skin contact surface 131 in an extended or large area through uniform distribution on such an area in order to increase the area for skidding prevention and also to enhance the effectiveness of skidding prevention.

Referring to FIGS. 6-8, in another embodiment of the present invention, the bra cup structure includes an edge covering strip 3 arranged along a lower edge of the two cup sections 1. The edge covering strip 3 is connected to and fixed on the two cup sections 1 by means of a first sewing section 41. The first sewing section 41 is made through sewing or stitching the lower edge of the two cup sections 1. The edge covering strip 3 that is provided on the lower edge of the two cup sections 1 may also serve as a back strip for a woman undergarment or swimsuit to which the bra cup structure according to the present invention is applied.

In a preferred embodiment, as shown in FIGS. 6 and 7, on a portion of the lower edge where the two cup sections 1 are adjacent to each other, a second sewing section 42 is further provided for connecting and fixing the two cup sections 1 and the edge covering strip 3 together. The second sewing section 42 occupies an area that is smaller than that occupied by the first sewing section 41. In the instant embodiment, the second sewing section 42 is narrower and shorter than the first sewing section 41 and is made in a denser way than the first sewing section.

Further, the second sewing section 42 is made with dense stitching having a high density in a small area, and the area of the second sewing section 42 may be varied according to the size of the two cup sections 1 or the size and/or width of the edge covering strip 3. In an embodiment, the second sewing section 42 has a length that is around 0.5-2 centimeters and a width that is around 0.05-0.5 centimeters, preferably, the length of the second sewing section 42 is around 1 centimeter and the width is around 0.1 centimeters. Making the second sewing section 42 through dense stitching in a small area does not cause excessive friction or abrasion between the skin and the cup sections 1, which may result in discomfort of the wearer. The second sewing section 42, as being arranged at a site between the two cup sections 1, help push or hold the two cup sections 1 toward each other to thereby prevent the two cup sections 1 from being readily outward expanded due to being elastically stretched, and thus providing an effect of consistently holding the breasts and pushing the breasts inwardly for concentration at the middle.

In summary of the above description, the bra cup structure according to the present invention provides improvements to the drawbacks of the conventional undergarments and swimsuits. By the arrangement of the C-shaped padding section in the cup body, an enhanced effect of pushing the left and right breasts toward the middle and also pushing the breasts up can be achieved, and no falsies are necessarily placed inside the bra to provide a visual effect of pushing up the breasts. In a preferred embodiment, embossed pattern sections are provided to provide the bra cup structure of the present invention with an effect of fixing and skidding preventing that is better than the conventional woman undergarments or swimsuits, so as to more persistently hold the breast shape thereby to eliminate the inconvenience and embarrassing of the wearers for constantly adjusting the position of the undergarments or swimsuits. In another preferred embodiment, the bra cup structure of the present invention involves a second sewing section that is provided on a lower edge at a side where two cup sections are adjacent to each other in order to enhance the effect of the two cup sections for pushing toward the middle and retaining and preventing the two cup sections from outward expanding due to being elastically stretched to further help persistently hold the breasts in position.

The above provides just some preferred embodiments of the present invention and is not intended to limit the scope of the present invention. All equivalent variations and modifications that are made according to the disclosure and the drawings of the present invention are considered belonging to the scope of protection of this application.
