DISPOSABLE HEATED HAIR CONDITIONING CAP

Disclosed is a disposable hair conditioning cap to facilitate deep hair conditioning. The disposable hair conditioning cap may include a plurality of fabric layers conforming to a crown of a user. Further, the disposable hair conditioning cap may include at least one heating element disposed within at least one of the plurality of fabric layers. Further, the at least one heating element is configured to generate heat based on contact of the at least one heating element with at least one activating substance.

TECHNICAL FIELD

Generally, the present disclosure relates to head coverings. More specifically, the present disclosure relates to a disposable hair conditioning cap.

BACKGROUND

Deep conditioning the hair is a very important part of hair care. A lot of hair masks or conditioners typically require heat to be added from anywhere between 15 min to 30 min. With the application of heat, hair care products (such as deep conditioners, masques, and treatments) can further breakdown and be better absorbed into the hair. In order to achieve this, individuals may typically sit under a hair steamer, use a hooded bonnet dryer, use a microwavable heating cap, and try to use a hot towel.

Further, existing hair care products on the market may require some sort of electric connection in order to produce heat. Further, in existing hair care products, for even deeper conditioning, the user needs to cover the hair with a plastic cap to retain moisture while sitting under the dryer for 30 minutes, then rinse the hair. Therefore, such products cannot be spontaneously used by individuals. Further, there is no existing hair care product that can eliminate the need for an electric dryer and which can provide mobility and comfort to a user. Further, existing hair care products are not ecofriendly.

Therefore, there is a need for improved hair conditioning cap that may overcome one or more of the above-mentioned problems and limitations.

BRIEF SUMMARY

Further, disclosed herein is a disposable hair conditioning cap to facilitate deep hair conditioning. The disposable hair conditioning cap may include a plurality of fabric layers conforming to a crown of a user. Further, the disposable hair conditioning cap may include at least one heating element disposed within at least one of the plurality of fabric layers. Further, the at least one heating element is configured to generate heat based on contact of the at least one heating element with at least one activating substance.

The present disclosure includes many aspects and features. Moreover, while many aspects and features relate to, and are described in the context of a disposable hair conditioning cap, embodiments of the present disclosure are not limited to use only in this context.

FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a disposable hair conditioning cap 100 over a mannequin head 102, in accordance with some embodiments. Further, the disposable hair conditioning cap 100 may facilitate deep hair conditioning.

According to some embodiments, the disposable hair conditioning cap 100 may be designed for a single-use purpose. Further, a user may take the disposable hair conditioning cap 100 anywhere and may use the disposable hair conditioning cap 100 spontaneously. Further, in an instance, the disposable hair conditioning cap 100 may be worn once. Further, the disposable hair conditioning cap 100 may benefit the user in last-minute plans and in hotel rooms. Further, the disposable conditioning cap 100 may be worn by the user at home while sitting back and relaxing. Further, the one-time usable property of the disposable hair conditioning cap 100 may facilitate salons in achieving great benefits. Further, the disposable hair conditioning cap 100 may be disposed of as solid waste. Further, the disposable hair conditioning cap 100 may include an eco-friendly material. Further, the eco-friendly material may include eco-friendly polythene such as, but not limited to, a Polyester, a Polyethylene, and so on. Further, the disposable hair conditioning cap 100 may achieve better performance and long-term environmental sustainability. Further, in an instance, the disposable hair conditioning cap 100 may be recycled. Further, the disposable hair conditioning cap 100 may be made up of recyclable material such as, but not limited to, High-density Polyethylene (HDPE), Cross-linked Polyethylene (XLPE), Copolymers, and so on. Further, the disposable hair conditioning cap 100 may be made up of a biodegradable material. Further, in an instance, the disposable conditioning cap 100 may include a plurality of fabric layers. Further, the plurality of fabric layers may be made up of the biodegradable material. Further, in an instance, at least one of the plurality of fabric layers may be made up of the biodegradable material. Further, the biodegradable material may include material such as, but not limited to, an organic polymer, High-density and Low-density Polyethylene, Chlorinated Polyethylene, and so on. Further, the biodegradability of the disposable hair conditioning cap 100 may be increased by exposing the disposable hair conditioning cap 100 to ultraviolet radiation. Further, the disposable hair conditioning cap 100 may be designed and manufactured with disposable and light-weight materials that may allow the disposable hair conditioning cap 100 to be mobile and convenient to use. Further, in an instance, the plurality of fabric layers associated with the disposable hair conditioning cap 100 may be made up of disposable and light-weight material. Further, the light-weight material may make the disposable hair conditioning cap 100 light and handy to use. Further, the light-weight material may provide no weight over the head of the user once the disposable hair conditioning cap 100 may be worn. Further, in an instance, the disposable and the light-weight material may include material such as, but not limited to, Low-density polyethylene, Ultra-low-molecular-weight polyethylene, Very-low-density polyethylene, and so on. Further, the disposable hair conditioning cap 100 may be a multi-layered cap in which the plurality of fabric layers may be manufactured from different type of polyethylene material such as, but not limited to, Ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene (UHMWPE), Ultra-low-molecular-weight polyethylene (ULMWPE or PE-WAX), High-molecular-weight polyethylene (HMWPE), High-density polyethylene (HDPE), High-density cross-linked polyethylene (HDXLPE), Cross-linked polyethylene (PEX or XLPE), Medium-density polyethylene (MDPE), Linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE), Low-density polyethylene (LDPE), Very-low-density polyethylene (VLDPE), Chlorinated Polyethylene (CPE), and so on.

According to some embodiments, the deep hair conditioning may facilitate in reducing roughness in the hair. Further, the deep hair conditioning may assist a user in a smooth combing. Further, in an instance, the deep hair conditioning may facilitate repelling of the hair from each other electrostatically. Accordingly, the deep hair conditioning may reduce clumping of the hair. Further, the deep hair conditioning may facilitate the prevention of damage to the hair. Further, the deep hair conditioning associated with the disposable hair conditioning cap 100 may impart moisture and improve the texture of the hair of the user. Further, in an instance, the deep hair conditioning may add shine and luster to the hair of the user. Further, the deep hair conditioning may promote elasticity to the hair.

FIG. 3 is a bottom view of the disposable hair conditioning cap 100, in accordance with some embodiments. Further, the disposable hair conditioning cap 100 may include a plurality of fabric layers conforming to a crown of a user. Further, each of the plurality of fabric layers may be made up of a plurality of disposable material. Further, the plurality of disposable material may include material such as, but not limited to, polyethylene, Non-woven fabrics, and so on. Further, the plurality of fabric layers may include an inner fabric layer 302 configured to be disposed proximal to the scalp of the user, an outer fabric layer 306 configured to be disposed distal to the scalp of the user and a middle fabric layer 304 (as shown in FIG. 5 and FIG. 6) disposed in between the inner fabric layer 302 and the outer fabric layer 306. Further, in an embodiment, each of the outer fabric layer 306 and the middle fabric layer 304 (as shown in FIG. 5 and FIG. 6) may include a non-woven polyethylene. Further, the non-woven polyethylene fabric may be a single-use fabric. Further, the non-woven polyethylene fabric may have a limited life. Further, the non-woven polyethylene fabric, in an instance, may be durable. Further, the non-woven polyethylene fabric may provide specific functions such as, but not limited to, absorbency, resilience, stretch, softness, strength, flame retardancy, washability, cushioning, thermal insulation, acoustic insulation, filtration, may be used as a bacterial barrier, and sterility. Further, the inner fabric layer 302 may include a clear polyethylene. Further, the inner fabric layer 302 may be transparent and may be in direct contact with the head or the hair of the user.

Further, the outer fabric layer 306 may be exposed to a surrounding environment of the user. Further, as shown in FIG. 5 and FIG. 6, the middle fabric layer 304 configured to separate the outer fabric layer 306 and the inner fabric layer 302. Further, the inner fabric layer 302 may be in proximity to the hair of the user. Further, the inner fabric layer 302 may prevent direct contact of the hair to the middle fabric layer 304 (as shown in FIG. 5 and FIG. 6). Further, the inner fabric layer 302 of the disposable hair conditioning cap 100 may be configured to provide an internal region with the head of the user may be housed for deep hair conditioning. Further, the outer fabric layer 306 and the middle fabric layer 304 (as shown in FIG. 5 and FIG. 6), in an instance, may be configured to house at least one heating element. Further, the at least one heating element may produce heat from at least one activating substance in order to condition the hair. Further, as the inner fabric layer 302 and the middle fabric layer 304 (as shown in FIG. 5 and FIG. 6) may be very close to the head of the user, a maximum and efficient heat transfer may take place. Further, the inner fabric layer 302 of the disposable hair conditioning cap 100 may be configured to serve as a barrier to protect the hair, lock the heat, and create moisture. Further, the at least one heating element may be configured to be disposed of in at least one of the outer fabric layer 306 and the middle fabric layer 304 (as shown in FIG. 5 and FIG. 6).

Further, the at least one heating element may include elements such as, but not limited to, air-activated charcoal, an iron powder, a disposable heating pad, and so on. Further, the at least one heating element may be configured to generate heat based on contact of the at least one heating element with at least one activating substance. Further, in an instance, the at least one activating substance may include at least one of air, water, hair care products, and so on.

According to some embodiments, the air-activated charcoal may include activated carbon. Further, the activated carbon may have a tendency of increasing surface area whenever exposed to heat. Accordingly, a single gram of air-activated charcoal may have hundreds of square meters of internal surface area. Further, the air-activated charcoal may generate heat after undergoing a chemical reaction when exposed to air. In an embodiment, the disposable hair conditioning cap 100 may come in sealed packaging. Further, when the disposable hair conditioning cap 100 may be unsealed or exposed to air, an oxidation reaction takes place with the air-activated charcoal in the presence of air. Accordingly, heat may be generated. Further, in an instance, the air-activated charcoal may also facilitate cleansing of the hair of the user. Further, the air-activated charcoal may trap pollutants from the hairs of the user. Further, the disposable hair conditioning cap 100 may become comfortably hot while using the air-activated charcoal as the at least on heating element.

According to some embodiments, the at least one heating element may include the iron powder. Further, the at least one activating substance may include water. Further, the wet conditioned hair may provide water as the at least one activating substance. Further, in an instance, at least one of the hair care products may provide activated carbon as the heating element. Further, when the disposable hair conditioning cap 100 may be unsealed or exposed to air, an exothermic oxidation reaction may take place. Further, the iron powder may produce heat from the exothermic oxidation reaction of the iron powder (Fe) in the presence of oxygen (O2), water (H2O), and the activated carbon. Further, a chemical equation associated with the disposable hair conditioning cap 100 may be represented as below.

Further, the heat generated by the iron powder may typically last up to 2 hours. Further, in an instance, the salt present in at least one of the hair care products may act as a catalyst to catalyze the exothermic oxidation reaction process.

According to some embodiments, the disposable hair conditioning cap 100 may include disposable heating pads disposed in between the outer fabric layer 306 and the inner fabric layer 302. Further, the disposable heating pads may include an air tight packet containing slightly moist iron powder and salt. Further, the salt may act as a catalyst. Further, whenever the user may squeeze the disposal heating pad, a barrier of the disposal heating pad ruptures and an exothermic chemical reaction may take place. Further, the disposable heating pad may employ a one-time exothermic chemical reaction.

According to some embodiments, the at least one heating element may be any substance that may be configured to generate heat whenever the at least one heating element comes in proximity or contact with one or more materials such as air, water and so on.

FIG. 4 is a side view of the disposable hair conditioning cap 100 in an inside-out configuration, in accordance with some embodiments. Further, the disposable hair conditioning cap 100 may be configured to be worn over the head for performing deep conditioning of hair using the heat produced from at least one heating element contained within the cap. Further, the disposable hair conditioning cap 100 may include the at least one heating element. Further, the at least one heating element may be disposed within at least one of the plurality of fabric layers. Further, the at least one heating element may be configured to generate heat based on contact of the at least one heating element with the at least one heat activating substance. Further, the at least one heating element may include air-activated charcoal. Further, the at least one activating substance may include at least one of air, water, and a hair care product. Further, the hair care product may include at least one of a shampoo and a conditioner.

According to some embodiments, the disposable hair conditioning cap 100 may include a gripping element 308 at a lower end of the disposable hair conditioning cap 100. Further, the gripping element 308 may be configured to maintain a grip over a head of the user. Further, the gripping element 308 may include an elastic material. Further, the gripping element 308 may be made up of elastic materials such as, but not limited to, a natural rubber, a synthetic rubber, a nitrile rubber, a silicone rubber, a urethane rubber, a polyether rubber, a chloroprene rubber, an Ethylene Vinyl Acetate or an EVA rubber, and so on. Further, the multiple layers of the disposable hair conditioning cap 100 may be attached or stitched with each other along with the gripping element 308 at a lower end of the disposable hair conditioning cap 100.

According to some embodiments, the gripping element 308 may include at least one or more sticker straps. Further, the at least one or more sticker straps may be attached or stitched on the backside of the disposable hair conditioning cap 100. Further, the at least one or more sticker straps may facilitate a tight grip to the disposable hair conditioning cap 100 over the head of the user.

FIG. 5 is a front cross-sectional view of the disposable hair conditioning cap, in accordance with some embodiments.

FIG. 6 is a front cross-sectional view of a plurality of compartments 600 associated with the disposable hair conditioning cap 100, in accordance with some embodiments. Further, in an embodiment, the at least one heating element may include a plurality of heating elements disposed. Further, the disposable hair conditioning cap 100 may include a plurality of heating elements disposed between the outer fabric layer 306 and the middle fabric layer 304. Further, in an instance, the plurality of heating elements may include elements such as, but not limited to, air-activated charcoal, an iron powder, a disposable heating pad, and so on. Further, the rate of heat generation may vary with each of the plurality of heating elements. Further, in an instance, the heat generated by the air-activated charcoal may last up to 1 hour. Further, the heat generated by the iron powder may last up to 2 hours. Accordingly, the durability of the heat generated may vary corresponding to each heating element associated with the plurality of heating elements. Further, at least one of the plurality of layers may include a plurality of compartments 600. Further, in an embodiment, the middle fabric layer 304 may include the plurality of compartments 600. Further, in an instance, a heating element from the plurality of heating elements may be placed within the plurality of the compartments 600 associated with the middle fabric layer 304. Further, a compartment in the plurality of compartments 600 may be configured to accommodate a heating element of the plurality of heating elements. Further, the plurality of compartments 600 may be disposed in at least one of the plurality of fabric layers according to spatial distribution. Further, the spatial distribution may include a uniform spatial distribution. Further, the uniform spatial distribution may facilitate the proper generation of heat by the heating elements. Further, the spatial distribution may facilitate consistent heat for proper conditioning of hair.

According to some embodiments, the disposable hair condition cap 100 may be compartmentalized (and quilted), forming multiple sections, in order to maintain a uniform distribution of the heating elements throughout the disposable hair conditioning cap 100 when placed on the head. In some instances, the disposable hair conditioning cap 100 that may be compartmentalized may be referred to as a quilted disposable hair conditioning cap 100. Further, the quilted disposable hair conditioning cap 100 with multiple sections, in an instance, may keep the heating element such as, but not limited to, air-activated charcoal, iron powder, and so on, from falling to the sides when placed on the head. Further, the quilted disposable hair conditioning cap 100 with multiple sections, in an instance, may be configured to provide a consistent and evenly distributed heat for efficient hair conditioning.

According to some embodiments, the disposable hair conditioning may include at least one sticker configured to be removably attached to at least one portion of a compartment in the plurality of compartments 600. Further, a sticker removably attached to a portion of the compartment may be configured to prevent contact of a heating element included in the compartment with the at least one heat activating substance. Further, the at least one sticker may include a plurality of stickers (not shown) corresponding to the plurality of compartments 600. Further, the plurality of stickers may be associated with each compartment in the plurality of compartments 600. Further, a rate of heat generated by a heating element included in a compartment in the plurality of compartments 600 may be based on a number of stickers attached to the compartment.

According to some embodiments, the one or more stickers may be peel-able stickers that may be placed on each section of the multiple sections in order to cover or prevent heat generation from the corresponding section of the disposable hair conditioning cap 100. Further, the user may be able to peel the one or more stickers in order to control a magnitude or rate associated with the heat generation. For instance, the user may peel the one or more stickers from the sections covering a relatively larger quantity of heating elements and thereby increasing the magnitude rate associated with the heat generation. Further, the user may be able to peel the one or more stickers in order to control from which section (of the multiple sections) the heat may be generated. In an instance, the user may peel the one or more stickers from the sections that may be placed on the backside of the head and thereby generating heat in the backside of the head only.

According to some embodiments, the disposable hair conditioning cap 100 may include at least one temperature-sensitive dye disposed on an external surface of the outer fabric layer 306. Further, the at least one temperature-sensitive dye may change color due to a change in temperature. Further, the at least one temperature-sensitive dye may include at least one of thermochromatic liquid crystal or a leuco dye. Further, the at least one temperature-sensitive dye may be made up of an organic material such as, but not limited to, a cholesteryl nonanoate, a mixture of cholesteryl oleyl carbonate, cholesteryl nonanoate, and cholesteryl benzoate, and so on. Further, in an instance, the at least one temperature-sensitive dye may be biodegradable and eco-friendly.

According to some embodiments, the at least one of thermochromatic liquid crystals may be disposed on the external surface of the outer fabric layer 306 of the disposable hair conditioning cap 100. Further, the at least one of thermochromatic liquid crystal may be capable of displaying different colors at different temperatures. Further, a change in the at least one of thermochromatic liquid crystal temperature may result in a change of spacing between the layers of the at least one of thermochromatic liquid crystal. Accordingly, a change in a reflected wavelength may occur whenever a light may pass through the thermochromatic liquid crystal. Further, in an instance, the color of the at least one of thermochromatic liquid crystal may continuously range from black through the spectral colors to black again, depending on the temperature. In an instance, the high-temperature state may reflect blue-violet. Further, the low-temperature state may reflect red-orange.

According to some embodiments, the at least one temperature-sensitive, dye may include Leuco dyes. Further, the leuco dyes may display a color change, usually from a colorless leuco form to a colored leuco form, in dependence on temperature. Further, the leuco dyes may be disposed over the external surface of the outer fabric layer 306 of the disposable hair conditioning cap 100. Further, in an instance, the leuco dyes may usually be in a form of microcapsules. Further, the leuco dyes may change color in an interval of 3° C. (5.4° F.). Further, the leuco dyes may be best suitable for a general indication of approximate temperature such as, but not limited to, “too cool”, “too hot”, “about OK”, and so on. Further, the leuco dyes may change color whenever the disposable hair conditioning cap 100 may experience a change in temperature. Further, the leuco dyes may facilitate the user to get an indication about the temperature of the disposable hair conditioning cap 100.

Further, the at least one temperature-sensitive dye may be configured to change from a first color to a second color in response to a change in temperature from a first temperature range to a second temperature range. Further, in an instance, the first temperature range may include a room temperature range such as, but not limited to, a temperature ranging from 17° C.-23° C. Further, the second temperature range may include a temperature ranging from 37° C.-40° C. Further, in an instance, the first color associated with the at least one temperature-sensitive dye may correspond to the first temperature range of the disposable hair conditioning cap 100 when the at least one heating element may not have generated the heat. Further, the first color associated with the at least one temperature-sensitive dye may correspond to black color. Further, the second color associated with the at least one temperature-sensitive dye may correspond to the second temperature range of the disposable hair conditioning cap 100 when the at least one heating element may have generated the heat. Further, in an instance, the second color associated with the at least one temperature-sensitive dye may correspond to red color. Further, when the at least one temperature-sensitive dye associated with the disposable hair conditioning cap 100 turn red may be treated as an indication for the user to remove the disposable hair conditioning cap 100.

According to some embodiments, the disposable hair conditioning cap 100 may use an air-activated iron to provide heat. Further, the heat provided by the air-activated iron may last for a maximum of 1 hour. Further, the disposable hair conditioning cap 100 may use quilted assembly to provide even distribution of heat. Further, the disposable hair conditioning cap 100 may be made with an environmentally friendly material. Further, the environmentally friendly material may include material such as, but not limited to, a polyethylene, a polyester, and so on. Further, the disposable hair conditioning cap 100 may be made with eco-friendly plastics. Further, the eco-friendly plastics may include bioplastics. Further, the bioplastics may be plastics that may be biodegradable.

According to some embodiments, the disposable hair conditioning cap 100 may facilitate minimizing the use of electricity. Further, the disposable hair conditioning cap 100 may eliminate the need for an electrical dryer at the same time providing mobility and comfort to the user. Further, the disposable hair conditioning cap 100 may be a one-time usable product providing heat for 30 minutes to an hour.

Although the present disclosure has been explained in relation to its preferred embodiment, it is to be understood that many other possible modifications and variations can be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the disclosure.

Claims

1. A disposable hair conditioning cap to facilitate deep hair conditioning, the disposable hair conditioning cap comprising:

a plurality of fabric layers conforming to a crown of a user; and
at least one heating element disposed within at least one of the plurality of fabric layers, wherein the at least one heating element is configured to generate heat based on contact of the at least one heating element with at least one activating substance.

2. The disposable hair conditioning cap of claim 1, wherein the at least one activating substance comprises at least one of air, water, and a hair care product.

3. The disposable hair conditioning cap of claim 2, wherein the hair care product comprises at least one of a shampoo and a conditioner.

4. The disposable hair conditioning cap of claim 1, wherein the plurality of fabric layers comprises an inner fabric layer configured to be disposed proximal to the scalp of the user, an outer fabric layer configured to be disposed distal to the scalp of the user and a middle fabric layer disposed in between the inner fabric layer and the outer fabric layer.

5. The disposable hair conditioning cap of claim 4, wherein each of the outer fabric layer and the middle fabric layer comprises a non-woven polyethylene, wherein the inner fabric layer comprises a clear polyethylene.

6. The disposable hair conditioning cap of claim 4, wherein the at least one heating element is configured to be disposed in at least one of the outer fabric layer and the middle fabric layer.

7. The disposable hair conditioning cap of claim 1, wherein the at least one heating element comprises a plurality of heating elements disposed, wherein at least one of the plurality of layers comprises a plurality of compartments, wherein a compartment of the plurality of compartments is configured to accommodate a heating element of the plurality of heating elements.

8. The disposable hair conditioning cap of claim 7, wherein the plurality of compartments is disposed in at least one of the plurality of fabric layers according to a spatial distribution.

9. The disposable hair conditioning cap of claim 8, wherein the spatial distribution comprises a uniform spatial distribution.

10. The disposable hair conditioning cap of claim 7 further comprising at least one sticker configured to be removably attached to at least one portion of a compartment of the plurality of compartments, wherein a sticker removably attached to a portion of the compartment is configured to prevent contact of a heating element comprised in the compartment with the at least one activating substance.

11. The disposable hair conditioning cap of claim 10, wherein the at least one sticker comprises a plurality of stickers corresponding to the plurality of compartments.

12. The disposable hair conditioning cap of claim 11, wherein the plurality of stickers is associated with each compartment of the plurality of compartments, wherein a rate of heat generated by a heating element comprised in a compartment of the plurality of compartments is based on a number of stickers attached to the compartment.

13. The disposable hair conditioning cap of claim 1, wherein the at least one heating element comprises at least one of air-activated charcoal and iron.

14. The disposable hair conditioning cap of claim 1, wherein the disposable hair conditioning cap comprises at least one temperature-sensitive dye disposed on an external surface of the outer fabric layer.

15. The disposable hair conditioning cap of claim 14, wherein the at least one temperature-sensitive dye is configured to change from a first color to a second color in response to a change in temperature from a first temperature range to a second temperature range.

16. The disposable hair conditioning cap of claim 14, wherein the at least one temperature-sensitive dye may include at least one of thermochromatic liquid crystals and a leuco dye.

17. The disposable hair conditioning cap of claim 1 comprising a gripping element at a lower end of the disposable hair conditioning cap, wherein the gripping element is configured to maintain a grip over a head of the user.

18. The disposable hair conditioning cap of claim 17, wherein the gripping element comprises an elastic material.

19. The disposable hair conditioning cap of claim 18, wherein the elastic material comprises at least one of a natural rubber, a synthetic rubber, a nitrile rubber, a silicone rubber, a urethane rubber, a polyether rubber, a chloroprene rubber, and an Ethylene Vinyl Acetate or an EVA rubber.

20. The disposable hair conditioning cap comprised in a vacuum-sealed packaging.
