E-Z seal tear-away box strip

One embodiment that easily seals light and heavy, thick or thin, large or small corrugated double wall cardboard boxes, which provide an easier way to open once its sealed. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

Description

This application claims priority to U.S. Utility patent application Transmittal, entitled “E-Z Seal Tear-Away Box strip” fil filed on Jun. 5, 2019, the contents of which are fully incorporated by reference as if set forth in their entirety herein.

SPECIFICATION

The subject matter described herein specifically relates to a combined easy seal, easy tear-away, reinforced tape strip thin enough to be applied over top of multiple times to seal and unseal boxes. The subject matter described herein relates to a flexible tape strip concept specifically designed for light and heavy duty corrugated double wall cardboard boxes. Designed with a double self-adhesive easy peel and stick tape strip, combined with a pull tab that easily tears-away when the tab is pulled to unseal the box. This strip can display labels and, be sold separately in packs and or manufactured pre-attached to the surface of a box exterior top and bottom flap.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Traditionally cardboard boxes are designed for moving and shipping large and heavy items that needs other supplements to completely conceal its contents.

Usually calls for finding other supplements like tape and dispenser that can be a hassle, especially when you must use an unsafe method like a blade to cut the tape to open the box.

A simple alteration added manufacture concept that can combined it to existing boxes not limited in box size, folding, moving, paper business, packing and shipping boxes.

Simply put, a strong wide adhesive tape strip with the adhesive side divided into two sides of peel and stick sections, with a tear strip center that may be formed of strong paper or plastic material, but not limited to other suitable materials, shapes or designs.

Design as an all in one pre-assembled box kit and not limited to the box, the strips can be sold separately and come in multiple sizes for different boxes.

BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

in summary, one embodiment provides a device that seals a box combined with a pull tab mechanism top open the box.

in an embodiment, containing a strong tape strip one side divided into, to form two sections the length of the strip.

in an embodiment, each section containing an adhesive concealed with a peel away material.

in an embodiment, a strip divided into by a double center strip divided with a line of holds or long narrow slits designed to tear apart down the length of the strip.

in an embodiment, containing a tape strip pre-sized to the dimensions of the box.

in an embodiment, a strip that combines the length of the flaps on a box together and seals on the opposite sides, from one side to the other.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

It will be readily understood that the devices of the embodiments, as generally described and illustration in the figures herein, may be arranged and designed in a wide variety of ways in addition to the examples described herein. This detailed description uses examples, represented in the figures, but these examples are not intended to limit the scope of the claims.

Reference throughout this specification to “embodiment (s)” (or the like) means that a described feature or characteristic is included in that example. This feature or characteristic may or may not be claimed.

The description now turns back to the figures. The illustrated example embodiments will be best understood by reference to the figures. The following description is intended only by way of example and simply illustrates certain selected example embodiments.

Referring now to FIG. 1 an embodiment includes a strong divided combination tape strip that include an easy to remove upper as in (2) and lower peel strip of paper as an (5) designed to easily peel off uncovering an adhesive surface as in (1) to adhere the strip to both opposite sides of the box flaps, with a pull tab as in (4).

Referring now to FIG. 2 As in (7) a top side view of the embodiment is a strong reinforced strip of tape divided by a strong tear strip center as in (6).

Referring now to FIG. 3 A detailed illustration example box that shoes how the embodiments will adhere to the surface of the example box.

Claims

1. The device of claim 1, wherein the bottom two-sided stick fast adhesive sections that adhere to seal the side flaps to the box once the paper has been removed.

2. The device of claim 3, wherein being the bottom as in 7, wherein the opposite side being a regular smooth surface top as of a strong reinforce tape strip.

3. The device of claim 6, wherein a strong tear center with holes or slit lines design to tear apart from one side to the other.

4. The device of claim 2, and 5, wherein a double-sided, jointed peel and stick section of paper that can be peel peeled off separately or simultaneously, to reveal an adhesive section.

5. The device of claim 4, wherein a strong pull tab that can be any width which is attached to the center lines design to tear through the center from one end of the length to the other.
