Scarf Extensions

This invention provides a head scarf with hair weave. The device includes a flexible fabric base including a hair weave affixed to a lower side thereof. In one variation, the flexible fabric base includes a satin panel that is affixed atop the hair weave, whereby the satin panel contacts the wearer's scalp for providing a comfortable fit. The flexible fabric base can be secured in a variety of configurations. For example, the portion of the fabric base positioned above the upper part of the head can be knotted so that the hair hangs down the back of the wearer, or the portion positioned above the rear part of the head can be knotted to cause the hair to fall in front of the wearer's head thereby resembling bangs. The head scarf with hair weave is designed to enhance the appearance of an individual wearing the headscarf with hair weave.

Description
BACKGROUND

There are many situations in which a quick and easy hairstyle may be needed. For women who are undergoing cancer treatments or suffering from alopecia, it may be important for them to have suitable options with which to choose a hairstyle. In addition, many women may lack time and may not have the luxury of being able to spend time styling their hair on a daily basis. Women also enjoy trying new looks but are nervous to do anything long-lasting for fear that the look may not be easily changed if it is undesirable to them. Accordingly, a device that provides a hairstyle that may be easily adjusted to suit a wearer's preference is desired.

SUMMARY

Scarf Extensions is a head scarf with hair weave extensions attached to it. The hair weave extensions are covered with satin fabric, hot glued and stitched down. The satin piece of fabric is intended to protect the natural hair. The extensions do not separate from the scarf. It is worn on the head and tied in the front, back, or side of the head making it a versatile head scarf. The hair hangs from the scarf appearing as a full head of hair without the uncomfortableness of a full wig. Scarf Extensions can be used by patients undergoing chemotherapy or suffering from alopecia, but can be a fashion accessory and a great way to try a new look or hair color without changing your natural hair. It also covers the entirety of the head like an instant style for convenience.
