DETAIL DESCRIPTIONS OF THE INVENTION

All illustrations of the drawings are for the purpose of describing selected versions of the present invention and are not intended to limit the scope of the present invention.

The present invention is a facial hair compression wrap that promotes moisturized facial hair and accelerated hair growth. The present invention seals any oils or facial hair care products with the facial hair, thereby preserving the look of the facial hair overnight. In order to flatten and compress the facial hair with the face of a user, a preferred embodiment of the present invention comprises a wrap body 1, a length-adjustable fastener 14, and a mouth slot 22, seen in FIG. 1, FIG. 4, and FIG. 6. The wrap body 1 covers the facial hair of the user. The wrap body 1 hydrates the facial hair of the user and compresses the facial hair of the user. The length-adjustable fastener 14 tightens the wrap body 1 against the facial hair and seals the facial hair within the wrap body 1. The mouth slot 22 allows the mouth of the user to be exposed while wearing the present invention. Furthermore, the mouth slot 22 provides access to the user of the mouth while wearing the present invention. In order for the wrap body 1 to seal moisture of the facial hair around the face of the user, the wrap body 1 comprises a mouth-covering portion 2, a first side portion 3, a second side portion 4, and a jaw-covering portion 5. The mouth-covering portion 2 covers the area around the mouth. More specifically, the mouth-covering portion 2 extends between the upper lip and the nose, the across the sides of the mouth, and between the lower lip and chin. The first side portion 3 and the second side portion 4 each covers the lower cheeks of the face. The jaw-covering portion 5 extends across the jaw of the user and beneath the chin of the user as well as part of the throat. In order for the length-adjustable fastener 14 to be sealed around the facial hair of the user, the length-adjustable fastener 14 comprises a first fastener end 15 and a second fastener end 16. The first fastener end 15 and the second fastener end 16 both connects the length-adjustable fastener 14 across the wrap body 1 so that the wrap body 1 and the length-adjustable fastener 14 wrap around the head of the user.

The overall configuration of the aforementioned components allows the present invention to be securely positioned around the head of the user while being able to be easily removed from the face of the user. As seen in FIG. 1, FIG. 2, FIG. 4, FIG. 6, the first side portion 3 is fixed adjacent with the mouth-covering portion 2, and the second side portion 4 is fixed adjacent with the mouth-covering portion 2, opposite the first side portion 3. This arrangement allows the wrap body 1 to fully extend across the face of the user and cover the facial hair on the face of the user. The wrap body 1 continuously extends underneath the face of the user as a first edge 6 of the jaw-covering portion 5 is positioned adjacent with the mouth-covering portion 2, the first side portion 3, and the second side portion 4. The first edge 6 connects the jaw-covering portion 5 with the mouth-covering portion 2, the first side portion 3, and the second side portion 4. Moreover, the mouth-covering portion 2 is centrally positioned along the first edge 6. A second edge 7 of the jaw-covering portion 5 is positioned opposite the first edge 6. The second edge 7 surrounds the perimeter of the facial hair beneath the chin of the user. In order for the mouth to be completely accessible while wearing the present invention, the mouth slot 22 is centrally positioned with the mouth-covering portion 2 and traverses through the mouth-covering portion 2. The user is therefore able to clearly speak, breathe through the mouth, and so on, while wearing the present invention. Moreover, the mouth slot 22 allows the present invention to be breathable while sealing the facial hair around the face of the user. The wrap body 1 can be both tightened and loosened around the face of the user as the first fastener end 15 is removably attached with the first side portion 3, offset from the mouth-covering portion 2. Similarly, the second fastener end 16 is removably attached with the second side portion 4, offset from the mouth-covering portion 2.

The wrap body 1 further accommodates the overall contours of the face of the user as the wrap body 1 may further comprise a folding edge 10, seen in FIG. 3. The folding edge 10 allows the wrap body 1 to comfortably tighten around the face of the user. The folding edge 10 provides relief along the center of the face while effectively securing around the perimeter of the facial hair. The folding edge 10 traverses across the mouth-covering portion 2 and the jaw-covering portion 5 so that the wrap body 1 tapers under the chin of the user. Furthermore, the folding edge 10 is positioned coincident with a sagittal plane 11 of the wrap body 1 so that the wrap body 1 comfortable folds over the center of the face, seen in FIG. 2 and FIG. 3.

In the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the jaw-covering portion 5 may further comprise a first portion end 8 and a second portion end 9, seen in FIG. 1, FIG. 2, FIG. 4, and FIG. 6. The first portion end 8 and the second portion end 9 contours the jaw-covering portion 5 around the jaw-line of the user. The first portion end 8 is positioned opposite the second portion end 9 across the jaw-covering portion 5. Moreover, the first portion end 8 is positioned adjacent to the first side portion 3, and the second portion end 9 is positioned adjacent to the second side portion 4. The jaw-covering portion 5 continuously and smoothly wraps around the jaw-line of the user while extending over the facial hair beneath the chin of the user as the jaw-covering portion 5 tapers from the folding edge 10 to the first portion end 8. Similarly, the jaw-covering portion 5 tapers from the folding edge 10 to the second portion end 9.

In order for the wrap body 1 to only extends over the area of the face with facial hair, the first side portion 3 tapers from the mouth-covering portion 2 to the first fastener end 15, also seen in FIG. 1, FIG. 2, FIG. 4, and FIG. 6. Similarly, the second side portion 4 tapers from the mouth-covering portion 2 to the second fastener end 16. This arrangement prevents the wrap body 1 from covering the portions of the cheeks of the user without facial hair and suffocating the skin of the user without facial hair. This arrangement allows the skin of the cheeks to remain breathable while sealing the facial hair of the user underneath the wrap body 1.

In the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the length-adjustable fastener 14 may further comprise an elastic band 17 and a fabric covering 18, seen in FIG. 4 and FIG. 5. The elastic band 17 stretches over the head of the user and tightens the wrap body 1 around head of the user. The fabric covering 18 both protects the elastic band 17 and comfortably cushions the elastic band 17 around the head of the user. The elastic band 17 is sleeved by the fabric covering 18, thereby shielding the elastic band 17 from directly pressing into the head of the user.

In alternate embodiments of the present invention, the length-adjustable fastener 14 may further comprise a first strap 19, a second strap 20, and a buckle 21, seen in FIG. 6. The first strap 19 and the second strap 20 wrap around the head of the user and define the length of the length-adjustable fastener 14 around the head of the user. The desired length of the length-adjustable fastener 14 is adjusted with the buckle 21. The first side portion 3 is terminally connected with the first strap 19, and the second side portion 4 is terminally connected with the second strap 20. This arrangement provides a continuous extension of the present invention around face and head of the user. The buckle 21 is slidably engaged along the first strap 19, and the second strap 20 is operatively coupled with the first strap 19 by the buckle 21. Moreover, the buckle 21 is used to lengthen and shorten an overall length of the length-adjustable strap. The wrap body 1 is therefore tightened and loosened with the first strap 19 and the second strap 20.

In further embodiments of the present invention, the wrap body 1 may further comprise a first layer 12 and a second layer 13, seen in FIG. 7. The first layer 12 accentuates the stylistic preferences of the user and is visible by the surrounding environment of the present invention while being worn by the user. The first layer 12 is preferably made of polyester material. The second layer 13 provides comfort for the user while being worn by the user and further facilitates the hydration of the facial hair while being worn by the user. The second layer 13 is preferably made of a satin material. The first layer 12 is superimposed onto the second layer 13 and is coextensive to the second layer 13. This arrangement allows only the first layer 12 to be exposed to the surrounding environment and only the second layer 13 to come into contact with the facial hair of the user.

Although the invention has been explained in relation to its preferred embodiment, it is to be understood that many other possible modifications and variations can be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as hereinafter claimed.
